During the course of celebration, her boo, actor/musician and late veteran actress Bukky Ajayi's son Abounce, proposed and she said 'Yes'


The actress has indeed come a long way from appearing in Tuface's Iconic African Queen video and then going on to do countless movies in Nollywood.


She also doesn't hide her age compared to others all those actresses who are never older than 30 every year.

Earlier today (HERE), we brought you the story of one Oluwole Falushe, who was arrested by operatives of the FESTAC Police Division on Monday while attempting to rob, rape another victim.

Falushe, who opened a Facebook account, using a fake name, Nifemi Ajanaku, allegedly lures his victims to hotels in Lagos only to drug, rape and steal their valuables.

 A Lagos state based housewife, Oluseyi Mark, today, sought the dissolution of her five-year-old marriage to her estranged husband, Jonathan Mark, a pastor over an alleged violence and long separation.

Oluseyi, a resident of Osola Street, Ifako in Agege, Lagos State, urged an Agege Customary Court to terminate the union on grounds of violence, lack of love and long separation.

The petitioner alleged that her husband, a pastor of a popular Lagos church was fond of beating her over minor issues.

“When I was pregnant with our only child, my husband beat and punched me severally on my stomach.

“This made our son to have a scar on his mouth since I was delivered of him till now.

“Since my husband is a pastor, l reported him to his church so that the elders there could caution him and change his attitude.

“But, he had refused to change from his violent act,’’ Oluseyi said

She alleged that her husband was also envious of her and would turned violent whenever he saw people around her or trying to hug her.

“My husband lies a lot and keeps a dagger at home which he uses to threaten my life,’’ she said.

The petitioner said that she had been living separately from her husband since December 2014.

“He had stopped providing for me and our child; I am the one responsible for the education and the upkeep of our only child,’’ Oluseyi said.

The respondent, Jonathan Mark of Kayode Alabi Street, Haruna in Ogba, a suburb of Lagos, however denied all the allegations levelled against him.

Jonathan said that his wife was a ‘party freak’.

“My wife cannot do without attending parties at the expense of taking proper care of our four-year-old child.

“Whenever l wanted to have sexual intercourse with my wife, she would give me conditions that were unimaginable and this used to lead to a series of misunderstandings between us,’’ Jonathan said.

He further said that, “whenever we had any quarrel, my wife with our son will pack out of the house.’’

The respondent urged the court to grand the dissolution of the marriage as filed by his wife.

He, however, asked the court to order his wife to allow him access to his son.

The magistrate adjourned the case to Sept. 20 for mediation.

Man Who Named Dog Buhari Meets Bail Conditions

Joachim Iroko, a 41 year-old trader charged in Ogun State for allegedly naming and inscribing ‘Buhari’ on his pet dog, has been released from prison after meeting his bail conditions.

Iroko was arraigned for 'intention to cause breach of public peace'. He was arraigned before Bolaji Ojikutu of Sango-Otta Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning and was subsequently granted a N50,000 bail.

Iroko however met his bail conditions yesterday after receiving about N90,000 through fundraising appeal coordinated by a human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong. He was released around noon today.

The 92-year old President of  Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016,  reportedly instructed the Commissioner General of Zimbabwe Police Republic, Augustine Chihuri to arrest and detain the whole Zimbabwean Olympic Team members immediately they arrived at the Harare International Airport.

Why?

Simple because the team failed to win any medal at the recently concluded Rio Olympics!

How incredible!

Zimbabwe was one of the countries in the RIO 2016 Olympics that returned home without a medal presented to its team of 31 athletes. The closest any of the athletes came to win a contest was at the 8th position.

Mr. Mugabe who is enraged with the National team’s performance told the Police Chief to arrest all the team members and detain them.

 “We have wasted the country’s money on these rats we call athletes. If you are not ready to sacrifice and win even copper or brass medals (referring the 4th and 5th positions) as our neighbors Botswana did, then why do you go to waste our money”  

 This situation is like an impotent man who is married to five women, what is the essence? I will make sure we share the cost across board for all of them to pay back to government chest even if it takes 10 years to recoup, now it turns out to be a soft loan we have given them to go and visit Brazil as tourist, they are useless” he reportedly concluded.

Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Attack Enugu Community, Many Feared Dead

Suspected Fulani herdsmen this morning attacked Enugu Atakwu community, in Nkanu West Local Government Area. Several people were killed including ‎a seminarian of the Catholic Church.

According to Daily Post, the herdsmen, who were armed to ‘teeth’ invaded and started shooting and maiming anybody in sight.

One of the victims, a seminarian is said to have just returned from his apostolic work when he met his untimely death.

A community source said “they just came early this morning and started killing people. There is confusion everywhere now; people are running helter-skelter.”

Prince's Mansion Set To Open For Public Tours

The mansion where pop star Prince died will open to the public this year.

Paisley Park, the late singer's home in Minneapolis, will be turned into a museum with fans able to take tours around the 65,000 sq ft complex from October 6.

Followers will get the chance to wander through the main floor of the sprawling estate, including the studios where Prince recorded and produced some of his biggest hits, and his concert wardrobe.

The tours will be organised by the same company which runs visits to Elvis Presley's Graceland.

Prince's sister Tyka Nelson said in a statement: "Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on.

"Only a few hundred people have had the rare opportunity to tour the estate during his lifetime.

Pakistani woman fights for her life after her own father & brother-in-law tried to stone her to death

A young Pakistani woman was fighting for her life in hospital last night after her own father and brother-in-law allegedly tried to stone her death in an attempted honour killing.

Police believe married Shakila Khan, 22, was followed on Wednesday to a house in Ghari, Swat Valley by her brother-in-law who found her alone with a local man called Bilal, 27.

Knowing his brother, Shakila’s husband, was away on business, it is claimed he locked the pair up in a room and summoned the girl’s father Rahim Bacha to report the pair.

Furious, the two men then allegedly tied the two up with rope and, believing they had committed adultery, tried to stone them both to death in the drawing room of the house.

It is thought they felt justified by Sharia Law. Sadly Bilal died from his injuries and Shakila was taken to a local hospital where last night she was-last night battling horrific wounds to her body and under armed guard.

 It is believed both men handed themselves in to local police who are now investigating the murder and attempted murder.

One local who spoke to the Daily Mirror said: “Her life is in danger and her family has disowned her according to Sharia Law. It is utterly heartbreaking as she has no support."

Eiye cult leader who burnt 65 year old woman to death and killed several others, tells his story

The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday paraded a self-confessed leader of the Eiye Confraternity, Ibrahim Balogun, aka Small Jpron, for allegedly killing five persons during different cult wars, including organising a gang which set a house ablaze in January 2016 on Oshinfolarin Street, Bariga, during which a 65-year-old woman, Adejoke Adefuye, was burnt to death. 

    Punch gathered that Small Jpron was arrested after some suspected cultists attacked the area on Saturday and the suspect came out with his boys for a reprisal.
Small Jpron allegedly organised a gang which set a house ablaze in January 2016 on Oshinfolarin Street, Bariga, during which a 65-year-old woman, Adejoke Adefuye, was burnt to death.

    A police source revealed that Small Jpron had been declared wanted for five murder cases in the Somolu and Bariga areas in 2016.

    Speaking while being paraded at the command headquarters, Ikeja, on Wednesday, the suspect said he joined the cult to avenge the murder of his friend in 2009 by suspected Aye Confraternity members.

    He said, “I am an Eiye cult leader. I joined the cult in 2009. The reason for my joining was to avenge the death of a close friend, Sunday Folorunsho, aka Small Biscuits.

    “It was the Aye cult members who killed him. So, the Eiye faction approached me and said I should join them and they would help me fish out the people who killed my friend. I had a lot of boys working for me. I have killed three persons among whom were Femi Wiper and Lekan Akon.

    “I cut them with knives. I shot some other victims. They were killed in the Somolu and Bariga areas. It was in the evening that Femi Wiper was killed. We were going out for a carnival during the Easter period on Alade Street in the Somolu area when a fight broke out. He was the one who first pointed a gun at me and my boys hacked him to death.”

    The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said Small Jpron had been declared wanted by the police for multiple cases of murder. He added that the suspect was an ex-convict.
 He said, “Earlier this year, there were major cult clashes, where criminal elements in the Somolu and Bariga areas engaged one another in a war of supremacy culminating in the deaths of some persons.

    “The gang, led by Small Jpron, also set ablaze a house in the Pedro area in which an elderly woman was burnt to death. The suspect was the one who led the cult gang war. He is a known criminal in the Somolu area.

    “He has multiple cases of murder and armed robbery which he has confessed to. Through him, we will look for other members of the gang who turned Pedro and Somolu areas into theatres of war.”

Man Vomits Blood & Dies After Winning N2m From Sports Betting In Calabar

The choice of a man celebrating with friends after winning a football betting has claimed his life in Calabar. 

According to a shocking online report, a man simply identified as Orok who recently won a N2million sports betting at Bet9ja (a football betting company) in Calabar, has allegedly died after celebrating with friends at a drinking joint.

It was gathered from online sources that Orok who was also a staff of Bet9ja, was poisoned by an unknown guy who was said to be his friend.

He was said to have reportedly vomitted blood till he passed out and finally gave up the ghost.

The deceased who is a native of Calabar South Local Government Area in Cross River State and resides in Mount Zion Lane, was buried on the early hours of Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Goldie Cemetary.
