51-Year Old Woman Buys Baby For N450k In Akwa Ibom

A 51-year-old woman, Rose Edward, is in police net for allegedly buying a 2-month-old baby for N450,000.
Cordelia Nwanwe, the Akwa Ibom Police Command’s spokesperson, told journalists that a homeopathic doctor, Eneyo Nyang, was arrested in connection with the crime.

He said Ms. Edward, from Rivers State, confessed to have bought the baby because she needed a baby of her own..

Confessing to the crime, the mother of the baby, Comfort Effiong, said she sold her baby because there was no one to take care of her.

“I sold the baby because of help; I don’t have anybody to help me. My father is late and my mother is sick and I don’t have anybody to help me,” Ms. Effiong said.
Mr. Mani assured Akwa Ibom people that the command would not relent in its effort to curb crime in the state. He warned members of the public wishing to adopt children to follow due process

OAP Freeze shares opinion & question on Charlie boy, Maheeda's marriages lasting longer than some pastors

CoolFm OAP, Daddy Freeze wrote on Instagram:

Couples above; Charlie boy and lady Di, Maheeda and Hubby.
Couples below; pastor Oyakhilome and former wife, pastor Okitie and former wife..

Looking at the above couples there are so many things I can deduce.
1. Don't judge a book by its cover.
2. The least likely to win very often win.
-----------------------
Is it also safe to ask.....
1. Since Maheeda and Charlie boy succeeded at marriage while these pastors failed, is it better to get counseling from them, rather than the pastors?
2. Is there something they know that the pastors don't?
3. Do the pastors themselves need to be counseled by the couples on top?
4. Are we getting the whole concept of marriage wrong?
5. Does everyone really have someone made for them?
6. Is cooking as important as one pastor claimed?
7. Did the pastors not hear from God before they married their former spouses, or did they hear wrong? You know '56' sounds very much like '66' but they are 2 different numbers.
8. Is sexuality more important than we are are made to believe?
9. Should more women try to emulate Lady Di and Maheeda so their marriages can last?
10. Are you in the wrong relationship or marriage?
11. A pastor I know preaches that oral sex is a sin, is this true and could the lack of it, have anything to do with the breakdown of pastoral marriages?

Answer as honestly as your conscience permits you! ~FRZ

Checkout How a Rapist Killed a Pregnant Woman in Ibeshe, Ikorodu

There was unease at Oluwoye community in Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos on Friday after an assailant said to belong to a gang of r*pists in the area, killed a 30-year-old pregnant woman, Afusat Yusuf, and stabbed her husband, Kazeem Yusuf. The man is now in critical condition.

The r*pist also inflicted injuries on the couple’s two kids – Rodiat and Opeyemi, aged six and five.

It was gathered that the attacker had gained access to the couple’s apartment around 2am on Friday through the window and attempted to r*pe the pregnant woman.

Her husband, Kazeem, was said to be awake in the process and reportedly resisted the r*pist, who resorted to hacking him and their two kids with a machete.

According to Punch, not done, the suspect went to a neighbouring building and unleashed terror on another couple, 52-year-old Sunday Robert and his wife, whose name had yet to be ascertained.

The suspect subsequently fled the area.

While Afusat died on the spot, Kazeem and the children were rushed to the Ikorodu General Hospital, where they are still receiving treatment.

The incident was reported at the Ipakodo Police Division.

A resident, who identified himself as Adisa, lamented the spate of attacks on residents of the area and its environs, saying the government had not made significant moves to address the attacks.

He said, “There have been series of attacks by this gang of r*pists on residents at different parts of Ibeshe. Several women have been r*ped and killed. Female children were also molested.

“Around 2am today (Friday), a member of the gang attacked two houses. In the first house, he hacked a pregnant woman, Afusat, to death and seriously injured her husband and their two children. He inflicted a cut on Rodiat’s ear and smashed an object on Opeyemi’s mouth. He also attacked a couple in another building. They have been taken to a hospital.

“Residents are moving out of the community because there is no solution in sight to these attacks. Those of us who do not have anywhere to run to are living in fear. The government has not come to our aid despite our outcry.”

A community leader, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of being hunted by the gang, said the community had petitioned the Lagos State Government without getting meaningful results.

He said, “We need the government’s help in Ibeshe. We have gone to the governor’s office to make complaints but there is no response yet. We also met with the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Community Affairs.

“We want government to unmask the gang members and those who are using them. This community lacks security.”

Another resident, Dele, said, “A member of the gang, Badoo, who was arrested had been charged to a Magistrate’s Court in Surulere by the police without notifying us. How are we sure that the case will be diligently prosecuted when people who will testify in court were not informed?”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Dolapo Badmos, said the command was already on the trail of the suspect, adding that the Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, had directed the homicide section of the command to investigate the case

Things That Make Women’s Bre*sts Sag Quickly

It is one part of a woman’s body that means different things to different people, and that could be the reason why women pay so much attention to it.

Beyond the fact that it is the source of food for a newborn baby, men see it as more of s*x organ that makes s*x more pleasurable, and for women, apart from its being important for bre*stfeeding and being a body part that enhances their outlook, it is one of the routes to s*xual satisfaction, as findings have shown that fondling the bre*sts is one of the quickest ways for women to reach org-asm.

According to Punch findings, it has also been found that the firmness or otherwise of those two soft, protruding organs influence women’s self esteem, and how attractive they are.

For some men, the bigger the better, and the more firm the bre*sts are the better, which make women to do all they can to make the bre*sts look firm, including using all kinds of bras.

It should be noted that the bre*sts tend to sag with age and after childbirth and or breastfeeding. But be that as it may, there are some human activities that could increase the likelihood of sagging.

So, given the much importance men and women attach to the firmness of a woman’s bre*sts, it seems helpful for women to know how best the bre*sts should be treated to avoid sagging (quickly).

Mismanaged bre*stfeeding:
It is largely assumed that a woman’s breasts tend to sag after pregnancy and bre*stfeeding, and this is entirely understandable because of the release of some hormones and the secretion of milk which could increase the size of the bre*sts. In fact, some people assume that with the way the baby draws the nip-ples in the process of suckling the mother’s bre*sts, it would lose firmness and end up being droopy afterwards. But those assumptions may not be true.

Dr. Bolanle Shukra-Okesina said, “Bre*stfeeding per se does not make the breasts to sag. If you use the appropriate bra size and take enough of fluid, especially water, when bre*stfeeding, the breasts will not sag, even after bre*stfeeding. Also, during pregnancy, the woman is expected to change the size of her bra as the bre*sts increase in size. She is supposed to use the appropriate size at every stage because the bre*sts need to be supported by a firm bra.

“When the milk stops after breastfeeding, the bre*sts would on their own go back to their normal size. So, if the woman does the right thing, the bre*sts have no reason to sag.

And for women who wear the kind of bras that make the bre*sts to shake, perhaps to appear buxom, it was warned that the more the bre*sts bounce around, the more the skin and collagen are stressed, eventually leading to sagging.

In effect, doing the needful while bre*stfeeding, eating balanced diet in right quantity, abstinence from smoking and doing the right exercises could reduce the likelihood of bre*st sagging.

Checkout How a Chibok girl got 100 lashes for refusing to marry Boko Haram fighter

Freedom for the 21 Chibok girls released last week by Boko Haram was as dramatic as their seizure by the group over two years ago.Nothing on Wednesday, October 12, the eve of their release, suggested to them that the freedom they had longed and prayed for was around the corner.

Their abductors simply woke them up early in the morning and got them lined up ,according to a report yesterday by the CNN quoting a parent of one of the girls.

Then, the terrorists began to read out the names of the girls one by one.
What followed was the news that they would be returning home to their loved ones.Just like that.

The parent, who asked not to be named for safety concerns, also said that during their time with Boko Haram, the girls were forced to build their own basic shelter, using plastic bags for roofing.

One of the Chibok schoolgirls, who refused to marry a Boko Haram fighter, was told she would be killed. Her abductors had a change of heart and commuted her sentence to 100 lashes

The award winning mavin/Roc Nation singer who has been through Alot due to her recent marriage crisis told Saturday Beats that despite everything that has happened in her life, she is still happy.

“Not everybody loved Jesus Christ, so who is Tiwa Savage in the scheme of things? I am nobody. I am just somebody God has put a talent in. In all honesty, when I encounter negative criticisms, I just focus on the people that love me. You cannot make anyone love you, so I try not to convince people that don’t love me. I would rather focus on the people that love me and make sure I do not disappoint them,” she said

Arik Air reportedly becomes slave camp as unpaid staff beg passengers for money

The staff of Arik Air, which once advertised itself as Nigeria's biggest airline, have been reduced to panhandling from passengers, as they are being owed a backlog of salaries.

In addition to not being paid, the staff are working under horrible conditions similar to what obtains in slave camps.

Sources in the aviation company told SaharaReporters that the Chairman, Johnson Arumemi-Ikhide, has been terrorizing staff and sacking them arbitrarily. He is said to have studiously avoided discussing with staff on how to pay salaries, which stretch back to July.

The Chairman, sources added,  is more concerned about activities lined up for the airline's 10th anniversary.

He is said to sack staff on mere hearsay or text messages sent to him by traitorous staff desperate to do their colleagues in. Those involved function as spies, who invent allegations of wrongdoing and pass them on to the Chairman.

Last week, a female staff, Julia, was sacked for calling one of Arumemi-Ikhide's spies "Chairman's baby."

He also suspended another staff for braiding her hair. In August, he sacked one Captain Obot because he refused to fly, having not being paid for two months.

At the Murtala Mohammed International Airport said company sources, staff have had to board passengers in darkness. While the staff of other airlines have internet facilities, Arik staff, airport sources said, are forced to personally provide internet facilities for the company's use.

"The situation has turned many of us into corporate beggars. We rely on passengers for crumbs to feed and cater for our family. Our aircraft cannot be regarded as safe because pilots are traumatized by not being paid," said a staff.

She added that the company has not reviewed salaries in over seven years. Staff pensions and taxes, she added, are not remitted.

Also,  the staff disclosed that Arik owes insurers and all types of suppliers and vendors.

Some of its cabin crew members, said another source,  have been locked out of hotel rooms due to the airline's inability to pay. Sim slots for pilots, he further said, are canceled because the airline cannot make payments for the simulator.

The airline is also a place of industrial apartheid. Its expatriate staff, who do exactly what Nigerians are doing, to routinely recycle meals that should be thrown away are paid in dollars and usually seven times the amount Nigerians earn. The security department is said to have two different salary grades for graduate staff.

"We don't have work tools. We buy our own rain boots, torchlight and pregnant security staff sleep on the tarmac for night duty.

"We even pay for our uniforms. The last time Arik Air gave us clothes was seven years ago," an angry staff said.

Another issue with the airline is that it recycles meals that should be routinely thrown away, our source said.

"If meals are not eaten on the plane, they are put back in the freezer for another time. This can lead to food poisoning," said a catering department staff.

Many members of staff disclosed that they are currently being overworked and under enormous pressure.

One of them told this medium that some staff were sacked for registering as members of one of the aviation workers' unions. He explained that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA)  is aware of what is happening in Arik but turning a blind eye.

The Managing Director, Mr. Chris Ndulue,  his deputy,  Captain Ado Sanusi, and Chief Pilot are said to be too timid to confront the chairmana

Man Slump After Sleeping With Client

According to SCN, the incident happened last Thursday at Treasure Land Hotel in Ovwian where the victim had lodged with the female customer identified as Helen Obiogu.

Nelson Eni Millz operating at Robinson Plaza along Deco road in Warri, was said to have requested that the female customer ‘pay in kind’ since she could not pay the entire fee.
Conflicting reports had it that the Nelson slumped and died while having rounds of s*x with Helen, but another account had it that he died from poisoning.
A source at Robinson Plaza, where the lady suspect had gone to purchase the mobile phone said that Helen was at the phone plaza last Wednesday to buy a handset and download music and applications, but was left with N5,000 after buying the phone.

Helen, who is now in police custody, pleaded with late Nelson to let her go and come back another day to complete the payment but he had refused and insisted she met him in a hotel.

A source alleged Helen eventually went to the hotel and Nelson sent her to buy drinks for them. The source also alleged Helen could have poisoned Nelson’s drink which eventually led to his death.

Nelson, in his late 20s, left behind two kids.

A staff at Treasure Land Hotel said Helen had almost fled from the hotel when she was arrested by the hotel security guards on duty.

The security guards had noticed that she was crying and was in a haste to leave the premises.

Buhari’s Daughter Slam Ezekwesili Over Chibok Girls

Image result for Zahra Buhari and Oby Eze

Hadiza Buhari-Bello, one of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari, has faulted a statement credited to a former Minister of Education, Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, that she is using her Africa Support and Empowerment Initiative to infringe on the franchise of the Bring Back Our Girls group.

Buhari-Bello, in a statement jointly signed with AFRISEI Secretary, Don Uche, said her organisation is a reputable body that wouldn't engage in illegal activities by stealing someone else’s franchise.

She said that contrary to Ezekwesili’s allegation, her organisation did not need to lean on the BBOG to be of service to the Chibok girls and therefore had no reason “to steal anything from BBOG or use its name to achieve any advantage.”

The President’s daughter explained that her organisation had its own defined objectives and that it did not need to steal anybody’s ideas to operate in line with its own objectives.

She said the organisation is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and issued certificate.

While praising the activities of BBOG to raise and sustain awareness on the plight of the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls, the President’s daughter said her organisation had broader objectives.

She said though the Chibok girls were within the priority of her organisation, its commitments to humanitarian causes did not end with Chibok schoolgirls.

“Given the size of the problem at hand, the more organisations we have assisting Chibok and other devastated communities, the better for the country,” Buhari's daughter stressed

I'm Ready To Pay Back N785Million-Musiliu Obanikoro

Embattled former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro may soon be let out of custody by the EFCC following indications that he has agreed to make refunds of some of the money he allegedly collected from the Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA).

The anti-graft agency said the ex-minister collected N785million from ONSA while in office.

His family and some close friends and associates are understood to be rallying around him to raise the funds as a first step to secure his bail.

From ONSA, about N4.685billon was transferred to Sylva McNamara Limited, a company allegedly linked to Obanikoro.

The ex-Minister told EFCC interrogators that N3.880billion of the N4.685billion was allocated to Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State and Senator Iyiola Omisore.

He said he handed over $5.377million (about N60 million then) to Fayose at Spotless Hotel, Ado-Ekiti in the presence of the former Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Dr. Tope Aluko and other party stalwarts.

He also claimed the balance of N785million was expended on alleged anti-Boko Haram campaign in Lagos and the South-West.

A source, who spoke in confidence, told The Nation that, “The ex-minister has been cooperating with detectives and he appears willing to refund some cash out of the N785m traced to Sylvan McNamara.

“I think his associates and friends have rallied around him, having discovered that the bulk of the cash from ONSA went to Fayose and Omisore.

“I think he might initially refund N100 million to get bail reprieve in order to prevail on others who benefited from the N785million to repay the slush funds.

“The refund is one of the issues delaying the granting of bail to the ex-minister.

Checkout How Train Accident Leaves 53 Dead In Cameroon

At least 53 people died when a packed passenger train derailed and overturned in Cameroon, the country's transport minister says.

The train was travelling between the two biggest cities, Yaounde and Douala, when it overturned near Eseka.

The Associated Press said there were 1,300 people on the train instead of the usual 600.
The train was busier than usual as landslides caused by heavy rains have blocked roads across Cameroon.

Transport minister Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo'o said some 300 people were also injured in the derailment, and that the death toll was likely to rise
