Harrysong Instagram account allegedly hacked by his ex-manager, Soso Soberekon

                          

Days after parting ways with Kcee's Five Star Music, Harrysong has reportedly lost his IG account and his ex-manager, Soso Soberekon, is being suspected to be behind the hacking.
According to an impeccable source, this week, after the Harrysong's interview that went viral, his Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked.
The Twitter account was, however, recovered after 24hours, but all attempts to recover the Instagram account has failed, because the perpetrator changed the Two-Factor authentication phone number attached to the account.
Thus, the singer can't receive the security codes needed to retrieve the account. Harrysong is said to be planning to issue a press statement, shortly, to address the issue, while he works on opening another account.

Seun Egbegbe Granted Bail, Case Adjourned To February

                       

Embattled movie marketer and socialite Seun Egbegbe who was caught allegedly trying to steal  iPhone 6 and 7 worth over N2 million was arrested and detained. He was as arraigned before an Ikeja magistrate court earlier today, Thursday, November 24, and was granted bail, with the case adjourned to February 8, 2017, Enconium.ng reports. The case against him was before Mrs. A. J. Atunwa at Roseline Omotosho Court House in GRA Ikeja. The magistrate admitted the accused on bail, with two sureties who have N2 million in their account, and property in Ikeja area of Lagos. The controversial film maker pleaded not guilty.

A teenage college football player is charged with murder after allegedly shooting his cheerleader ex-girlfriend dead through a window as she slept.

Jilted William Riley Gaul, 18, tweeted about his love for Emma Walker just hours before he was arrested on Tuesday.

His former high school sweetheart, 16, was found dead at her home in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Monday.

The young couple had recently split but Maryville College footballer Gaul allegedly refused to accept the breakup, the victim's aunt claims.

Jenny Weldon told the Knoxville News Sentinel: "She had chosen to move on.

"He refused to accept it. He chose not to accept her wishes."
Gaul is accused of shooting Emma through her bedroom window from outside her home as she slept on Monday morning.

He was arrested on Tuesday night after being under surveillance by Knox County Sheriff's Office detectives who feared her was preparing to destroy evidence, police said.

Hours before his arrest, the teenager posted at length on Twitter about his love for cheerleader Emma.
Gaul wrote: "To think that every memory we have, every happy special moment we shared, can't ever be relived. I love you Emma Jane Walker.

"The amount of pain your family, me, the community are in because of this is insurmountable.

Staff and pupils at Central High School, where both Gaul and Emma attended, held a memorial service for the popular blonde student on Tuesday night.

While the vigil was held, Gaul tweeted: "I love you Emma, I can't be around any of that yet, it's too soon. I know you know I'm dying to be there but understand I can't. I love you."

Gaul is charged with first degree murder and is being held on a $750,000 bond in the Knox County Jail.

Jimoh Ibrahim Loses At Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Thursday referred back to the Court of Appeal, Abuja, all pending cases relating to the dispute over the leadership tussle between the Ali Modu Sheriff an‎d Ahmed Makarfi factions of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The appeals which the apex court referred back to the Court of Appeal have to do with questions bordering on which of the factions of the party ‎has the authority to instruct lawyers to represent the party in a pending case before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

The five-man panel of the ape‎x court led by the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onoghen, also, in a separate unanimous ruling, struck out all pending appeals relating to the candidacy of the PDP for the Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State.


Justice Onnoghen, who read the lead ruling, held that the pending appeals before the apex court had become academic in view of the judgment of the Justice Ibrahim Saulawa-led panel of the Court of Appeal, Abuja delivered on Wednesday, reinstating Eyitayo Jegede as the PDP’s governorship candidate in the Ondo State election.

The Acting CJN informed parties to the appeals on Thursday that the apex court was not ready to hear the cases piecemeal.

He directed that the appellants should  raise the issues in their interlocutory  appea‎ls in when they file substantive appeals which they wish to file against the  Court of Appeal’s judgment delivered on Thursday.

The appellants led by Biyi Poroye are the state executives of the Sheriff faction of the party in the various states in the South-West zone, are backing Jimoh Ibrahim, who was only removed and replaced with Jegede as the party’s governorship candidate in Ondo State by the judgment delivered by the Court of Appeal, Abuja on Wednesday.

The appellants’ lawyer, Mr. Beluolisa Nwofor (SAN), told the apex court on Thursday that he had not been able to file an appeal against the Wednesday’s judgment of the Court of Appeal because copies of the judgment had not been ready.

The recent outburst by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, against President Muhammadu Buhari, National Assembly Members, Judges, among others, is the more reason why the incumbent President will lose woefully in the forthcoming 2019 poll, an Aide close to Obasanjo, hinted Post-Nigeria on Wednesday night.

The Aide who preferred to remain anonymous, disclosed that, “Baba will never again support Buhari, because he has disappointed those who brought him to power, and the nation in general.

“I must confess, the lecture the former President delivered, was a true reflection of his stance on Buhari’s government… I repeat, I doubt if Obasanjo will ever throw his weight behind Buhari again.”

He added: “Obasanjo has been complaining secretly, not intending to make his complaint public, in order not to overheat the polity, but there is no best time to open up, except now.”

This came as Obasanjo, who was speaking in Lagos, on Wednesday, November 23, served a signal, that the era of being soft on Buhari’s administration was over.

Delivering the keynote at the First Akintola Williams Annual Lecture, Obasanjo, lashed at the Buhari administration, for repeatedly lumping the country’s three previous administrations (including the one he, Obasanjo led) together, and then accusing them of mis-governance.

He also advised Buhari, to stop dwelling on the past, saying since he was elected to change the country, he should concentrate on clearing the mess he inherited.

“Now that we have had ‘change’, because the actors, and the situation needed to be changed, let us move forward to have progress through a comprehensive economic policy and programme that is intellectually, strategically, and philosophically based,” Obasanjo said.

The former President, did not spare the National Assembly, which he says stinks to high heavens, and the Nigerian Military, which he said needed to be purged.
Post-Nigeria, earlier reported that Obasanjo had lauded Buhari for his fight against Boko Haram, while blaming the rapid growth of the terrorist group on former President, Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

Obasanjo however, described Boko Haram as a formidable terror threat, that had to be completely wiped out, to ensure the safety of Nigerians.

9,579 Persons Test Positive to HIV in Lagos

The Lagos State Aids Control Agency has said that 9, 579 persons tested positive to HIV between the months of January and June.

LSACA’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Oluseyi Temowo, also stated that about 616, 318 persons in the state were counselled and tested within the same period.
              

He said, “These statistics simply mean that there are many more people who are not aware that they have the virus."

Temowo disclosed this at a briefing being part of the activities put in place to mark the 2016 World AIDS Day coming up on December 1.

He stated, “It is a common knowledge that an HIV-positive person can be symptom-free for 10 years and will continue to infect others, if not checked and treated. Being HIV-positive does not translate to death, with appropriate medications.”

Temowo said that the agency had mobilised HCT trucks and health personnels to hard-to-reach communities in the state to conduct free HIV counselling and testing.

This, he said, would enable every Lagos resident to be aware of his or her HIV status.

Temowo said that access to HCT would allow individuals to know their status and take appropriate steps to prevent HIV transmission to other persons.

He said that this would also stop the progression to AIDS through lifestyle modification and health seeking behaviour.

Lagos is determined to achieve the global targets of eradicating of the disease by 2030.

Man Proposes To Girlfriend At The Airport In Style

A man held a spectacular proposal at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport that has left tongues wagging. Antony Buluma proposed to his fiance Gettie Nthiiri at the arrival gates as she jetted in.

The proposal was well orchestrated by the Kenyan man with a group which included family, friends flashed sign cards with the proposal question. The signs spelt out “Gettie will you marry me?”

As Gettie, an employee of Parliament of Kenya walked through the arrival halls, she found Buluma on bended knee where he popped the question. After Gettie accepted, the crowd cheered and a band which was also part of the proposal party belted colorful tunes.
“This is God’s doing. I give Him the glory. He is worthy to be praised. Thank you all who took part in making this real. To Gettie Nthiiri you are my choice. I found you and discovered a beautiful thing. You are my love; may God be our guide,” Bulama said after Gettie accepted his proposal.

Presidential aircraft allegedly crashes, a month after handover to Nigerian Air Force

Barely two months after the presidency handed over two aircraft in the Presidential fleet to the Nigerian Air Force, investigation has revealed that one of the ballistics defence capable aircraft has been seemingly, poorly managed and crashed at the Nigerian Air Force base, Makurdi.


It was gathered that one of the aircraft, Agusta AW 101, a medium-lift helicopter specially designed for military operations, got crashed less than a month after the Nigerian Air Force took delivery of it from the presidency, due to poor training of crew members saddled to man the operations of the aircraft.

When contacted, the Nigerian Air Force, P.R.O., Group Captain Dele Famuyiwa, denied the report that one of the aircraft crashed.

In a telephone conversation with TheNewsGuru.com, Famuyiwa said that the aircraft was not involved in a crash but an incidence of little effect.

“It was not a crash. I wouldn’t call it a crash because it just fell on the ground in Makurdi.”

“I can say maybe it was an incident. You know accident is a higher degree of incidence. It was just an occurrence that did not take any life or equipment. Cars can malfunction and the same thing with any machine.”

Popular singer Harrysong announced his exit from Five Star music recently, launching his own brand - ‘Alter Plate’ all in same stride.

In a tell all interview with The Cable Lifestyle, Harrysong opened up about his time with Five Star music, making it known that he has indeed moved on. His words:

“I have learnt all through the years from Question mark to Five Star, my contract expired at Five expired and I progressed to open Altar Plate, there is no beef or quarrel. This is what I want to do and I am doing it.

“When I was signed under Five Star, I wrote majority of the songs but my departure from Five Star does not mean that it would crumble. 

“They have talented people like Kcee, Skibii and Xbusta. I came in with my own sound and I have left with my sound. They have their own sound and they will go with that.”

On his new company, he clearly stated that Five Star music will have no part whatsoever in it.

“Five Star is not contributing to Altar Plate, this is all about Harrysong. We have our website and our social media platform to keep fans updated about our activities.

“There is no possibility of returning to Five Star. My contract has expired and I have started Altar Plate so there is no going back but I will always appreciate them. If I am called upon to do anything, maybe write a song, I will."

Be Fair To Me, Patience Jonathan Tells The Media

Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has denied media reports that $175m is missing from her bank accounts.

Patience said her account balance as of the time it was frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was less than $10m.

She, therefore, urged the media to be fair to her and stop twisting facts. She said this in a statement signed by her spokesman, Mr. Sam Dokubo, on Wednesday.

The statement added, “For the avoidance of doubt, while indeed it is true that Dame Patience is in court for the protection of her fundamental rights infringed upon by a ‘No debit order’ placed on her funds by the EFCC, it is not for $15m but for funds less than $10m as has been clarified several times.


“The purported story in a newspaper on November 19, 2016, about a missing $175m allegedly belonging to the former first lady is not just fictitious but plain falsehood.”

Patience said if the EFCC was looking for a ‘missing’ $175m it should ask Skye Bank where all her accounts were domiciled.

It added, “The EFCC has not made any statement to the existence of an investigation of any missing $175m linked to the former first lady.

“If any such funds as claimed, which was deposited by certain verifiable persons has gone missing without a trace from a known bank, Skye Bank, as was reported, then, the bank, its officials and those mentioned must be held to account for the funds and not the former first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, who was in no way a part of the transaction.

“The claim that the money was credited to a company linked to Dame Patience Jonathan is also false; otherwise it should be officially substantiated with credible evidence by Skye Bank and the EFCC that are jointly mentioned in the report.”

Mrs. Jonathan threatened to sue media houses that continue to malign her.

Patience is suing the EFCC and Skye Bank for freezing accounts linked to her. She is also demanding a N200m settlement.
