"The two sisters alongside their Nigerian accomplice, Babatunde Oyebode a.k.a Baudex are currently facing charges of extortion, cyber-bullying and blackmail.
The trio met their waterloo after trying to blackmail billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola
The case, with file no. A/203/2016, which is between the Lagos state commissioner of police and the 3 defendants following a petition filed to the police by Otedola, was called up at about 10:03 am on Wednesday.
Only Oyebode and his legal counsel showed up, spotting a brown blazer and black trousers, Oyebode briskly walked to the stand.
When queried by the presiding judge, Justice E.A Ojo on the whereabouts of the girls, Oyebode quickly stated that he had no knowledge of their whereabouts.
After having a brief chat with court officials, Justice Ojo issued a bench warrant for the girls and placed an order for their sureties to show cause. Justice Ojo then filed for the case to be transferred to the Federal high court in Lagos.
The matter has been adjourned to the 1st of March 2017.
The absence of the ladies in court today has fueled rumors that the two sisters allegedly fled Nigeria silently last week. It is believed the sisters are still in possession of some digital copies of compromising pictures and videos of randy businessmen and politicians discovered on laptops and iPads seized from them by the Nigerian police."

Rihanna Spotted Spotted Alongside Sandra Bullock For All-Female Movie Ocean's 8

Rihanna , 28, is the latest celebrity to be spotted filming heist scenes for the all-female sequel to George Clooney's 2001 crime romp, Ocean's Eleven .

Wearing an all-in-one unflattering navy boiler suit, huge hoop earrings and chunky dreadlocks, the singer joined fellow cast members Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson on a rainy shoot day in New York.

The pictures see the trio filming some sort of heist scene that involved Rihanna fleeing from a white transit van in exciting scenes.

The lure of the all-female cast is clearly something Rihanna is extremely passionate about.

As a proud feminist, leading figure in the 'Free The Nipple movement' and advocate for women's rights - we last saw Rih Rih when she took to the streets outside Trump Power in New York, protesting alongside millions in last weekend's astonishing Women's Marches.

The all-female Ocean's 8 just seems to be getting bigger and better every single day. We can't wait to see it.

The movie is heavily rumoured to be released on June 8, 2018.

14-year-old housemaid flees home with bosses’ daughter

Panic has gripped parents of a 22-month old girl, Mayowa Aweda, of Unity Estate, Idimu, Lagos, after their housemaid allegedly fled home with their child on Monday.
The housemaid, who is known only as Christiana, was said to have left with the girl around 7pm when the parents were not at home.

PUNCH Metro reports that Mayowa’s mother, Iyabo Aweda, had, while she and her husband were going to work that morning, instructed Christiana to wash plates and clothes before she returned from office.

It was gathered that when the husband, Leo Aweda, came back from work in the evening, Christiana
had yet to carry out the tasks.

A few minutes after, Leo was said to have gone to a salon to have a haircut and took Segun, their first child, along, leaving Christiana and Mayowa at home.

“I came back from the salon around 7am to discover that Mayowa and the housemaid were not at home.
“A resident said he saw her going out with my daughter around 7pm. She left with a rechargeable lamp. That was the only thing she took away; all her belongings are still at home.
“We got her in July 2016 through my wife’s friend, called Iya Samuel. We enrolled her in a private school and my wife sends N5,000 to her mother every month. She is in Basic 5. She is from Iseyin, Oyo State. I didn’t want my wife to employ her in the first place. We don’t have her picture,” Aweda told Punch on Tuesday.
The mother said Christiana had once fled home after she damaged the rope used for starting a generator, but was intercepted by a security guard at the estate gate.

She stated that she had wanted Christiana to leave a few months ago, but the housemaid’s mother begged her to rescind her decision.
She said,

“When I was going to work on Monday, I was supposed to take Segun somewhere, but my husband said Segun would not go with me. He asked me to let him stay with Christiana. She was happy when I told her she would look after Segun that day.
“I told her to clean the kitchen, wash plates and her clothes, as well as the children’s clothes. I told her to pick up Mayowa at creche by 5pm. I do have a lot of meetings on Mondays, which made me to get home late.
“When I got home, I discovered that she had yet to do any of the tasks and had probably been watching television all day.
“I think she felt I would beat her for not doing the work. The fear probably made her to flee home with my daughter. But I have never beaten her before for any reason and we take good care of her. I only threatened to beat her so she could do what she was supposed to do.”
Punch adds that that the guarantor, Iya Samuel, was arrested by policemen from the Idimu division, where the case was reported, while Christiana’s mother had been informed about the incident.
“We called the woman this morning (Tuesday) to ask if she saw Christiana. She said she had not seen her,” Iyabo added.
Hours later, an enthusiastic Leo called and told PUNCH Metro on the telephone that the maid and his daughter had been found at Oshodi under bridge by the police.
“Praise the Lord, I just received a call that they have been found in Oshodi under bridge. I learnt that some policemen saw them under Oshodi bridge. She had yet to tell us why she fled home with the child,” he said.

Soldiers beat Redeemed pastor into coma for refusing to ‘frog-jump’

A Redeemed Christian Church of God, Abuja pastor, Alex Ochienu, has accused two soldiers of assaulting and beating him into a coma for refusing to obey their order to do frog jumps.
Speaking to PUNCH, the cleric alleged that he was flogged by Cpl. M. Dankwa and his colleague whose name he did not know, until he collapsed and was rushed to the Gwarimpa General Hospital where he was admitted at the Emergency ward

The civil engineer said he was supervising construction works at Paradise Estate, Life Camp, Abuja when the soldiers invaded the site with officials of the Development Control Department and
assaulted him and other workers.

Ochienu told Northern City News on Tuesday that the soldiers beat him with rifle butts and kicked him in the stomach simply because he told them he could not obey their order to do frog jumps as he was fasting.

The engineer said he lost his phone during the incident which occurred on January 17, 2017 at 3pm.

Ochienu said despite his pleas to the rampaging soldiers that he was fasting, they refused to listen, but rather flogged him until he collapsed.

He said,

“The soldiers rushed into the site and ordered everyone to frog-jump; they flogged the workers and threatened to shoot us. I tried to explain to them that I was weak because I was fasting, but Dankwa was infuriated by my explanation.
“He kicked me in the stomach; another soldier also joined in beating me till I collapsed. When they saw that I was almost lifeless, they left and I was rushed to the hospital by the workers.”
The cleric said he learnt the soldiers apologised to the owners of the estate “for their mistake.”

But Ochienu said he planned to take legal action against the Development Control Department and the military for the assault.

The Paradise Estate Project Manager, Tobias Tokbe, said he was not at the scene, but added that beside Ochienu, another worker, Bem Ali, was also brutalised by the soldiers without any reason.

He said,

“I was discussing with the development control officials at the project office when I saw some workers carrying somebody and they told me Ochienu was beaten by the soldiers that accompanied the development control officials to the site; I was livid.
“I immediately called the development control director who said he didn’t authorise the soldiers to attack anyone. We asked the soldier why he beat up the engineer and he said Ochienu grabbed his jacket, which we know was a lie.”
Tokbe said the riot policemen guarding the estate almost fought with the soldiers after the incident.

When contacted, the Development Control Director, Muktar Galadima, said he was informed about the incident and “I said sorry, but I didn’t see the victim of the attack.”

2.3m Persons Living With HIV In Nigeria Are Not On Treatment

                     Image result for home alone
2.3 million Nigerians living with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus are not on any form of treatment even as health experts have raised alarm over the growing incidence of resistance to Anti-retroviral drugs in the country.

Disclosing this yesterday in Lagos, a professor of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Professor Suleiman Akanmu, said only 900,000 persons living with HIV in the country are currently on a treatment programme as against the estimated total number of 3.2 million persons nationwide.

Akanmu, who is also the Chairman, National Task Team on Antiretroviral therapy (ART) in Nigeria, spoke during a joint stakeholders’ Summit with the theme: “Drug Resistance Monitoring, Early Infant Diagnosis and Viral Load” organised by World Health Organisation, WHO, blamed the development on inability to carry out routine viral load test, as well as unavailability of second and third line drugs to treat HIV.

“Many of our patients that are on first line drugs are failing and they are supposed to be put on second line drugs which is not available now. Also we are not detecting failure on time, if you have about 900,000 Nigerians on first line drugs, we do not know how many of them have failed the first line regimen because we do not routinely carry out viral load test to show that while on drugs, the virus is still detectable in them.

“If we have facilities in Nigeria where people can easily do viral load test, then we would be able to detect first line failure and be talking about putting them on second line regimen,” he argued.

Äkanmu, however, called for more research and support for laboratories in the country to effectively carry out viral load test and when detected there should be enough drugs to put them on second line regimen.
