See Lady That Was Sacked For Work For Being Too Beautiful
A 24-year-old female television worker, Emma Hulse, has claimed she was sacked from her job because she was ‘too good looking’.
MirrorUK reports that Miss Hulse who was hired as a freelance runner, claims production firm UNIT TV, located in Soho, told her to go home during a shift because ‘she should be on a catwalk’. She was however sent a message by her agent barely five minutes after starting work telling her she was ‘no longer required’.
In her words she said
"I was quite disappointed to be sent home. I didn’t really know what to do. Maybe that company employs plain looking people and maybe if you don’t look that way they don’t take you, maybe I was a distraction."
She went on to say that she did not wear anything provocative as many might be thinking. She said she was wearing a shirt and trousers and ‘did not look inappropriate’ and had never been sent home before ‘because of her looks’.
But the company owner, Adam Luckwell, told the Mirror Miss Hulse was dismissed following a three month probation period. He said there were a number of things they found out in which they were not happy with.

5 Months After Michael Ibru’s Death, Children Engage In Legal Tussle Over Property
Five months after the death of frontline businessman Chief Olorogun
Michael Ibru, 16 of his children are in a legal tussle over their paternity and
his multi-billion naira assets.
One of his sons, Oboden Ibru, has approached the Igbosere High Court,
Lagos, for a declaration, among others, that he and his 15 other siblings are
entitled to the estate of their father.
In a counter-claim, one of the late Chief Ibru’s daughters, Janet Ibru,
urged the court to declare that only persons whose paternity are confirmed by a
diagnostics centre in the United States are entitled to an equal share of the
estate.
Oboden’s suit was filed February 8 by Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN) but
has not been assigned to a Judge.
The defendants are Oskar Ibru, Peter Ibru, Emmanuel Ibru, Gloria Ibru,
Elaine Ibru-Mukoro, Elvina Ibru, Mamemo Ibru, Janet Ibru, Obaro Ibru, Vivi
Ibru-Stankov, Edesiri Ibru, Christiana Ibru, Jero Ibru, Vikwesiri Ibru, Gabriel
Ibru and the Probate Registrar, High Court of Lagos State.
The claimant is seeking an order declaring that a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) of January 2, 2001 is valid as to the distribution by way
of gift of the late Ibru’s assets to both “Ovuone” and “Ivetu”.
He asked the court to declare that the properties listed in the MOU
belong in their entirety to “Ovuone” being gifted jointly and several times to
“Ovuone” in the lifetime of the late Chief Ibru.
Such properties include No. 1, Marine Road, Apapa, Lagos; 47, Marine
Road, Apapa; 49, Marine Road, Apapa; 52, Marine Road, Apapa; 5,7,9 Emotan Road,
Apapa; 3,5,7 Ladipo Oluwole, Apapa; Daska House; Blomfield Court; 33, Michael
Ibru Boulevard; 6, Louis Solomon Close, Victoria Island, Lagos and 5/7, Queens
Barracks Road, Lagos.
Others are No. 20, Queens Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos; 6, Kensington Park
Gardens, London; Starcross Farm; Hillcrest Apartment; Zabadne Plot, Abuja;
Maitama Plots, Abuja; Maroko Plots, Lagos; 7, Randle Close, Apapa, Lagos; all
shares in Oceanic Bank; Oteri Holdings Limited’s shares in Minet Nigeria
Limited; Oteri’s shares in Ibachem and the portion of Ibafon land occupied by
Ibachem and Ovwian land.
The claimant is also seeking a declaration that the judgment delivered
by Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court, Lagos on April 17, 2014
remains valid and subsisting, having not been set aside by any court of
competent jurisdiction.
Oboden also asked for an order appointing himself, seventh defendant,
Christiana, first defendant, Oskar and eighth defendant, Jero, as
administrators of the Ibru estate and an order directing them to apply to the
16th defendant for the grant of letters of administration for the estate.
An order of the court appointing Messrs. PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited
to conduct a forensic audit of the shareholdings and assets, whether real or
personal, belonging to the estate of the late Ibru in Oteri Holdings and any
other company in Nigeria or anywhere such may be located, discovered or found
in the world and submit such report to the Registrar of the court within 90
days of the order and the cost of such exercise be paid by the administrators
so appointed herein.
The claimant is seeking an order directing the administrators to divide
the assets into 16 equal shares and that same be given to all the 16 surviving
children of the late Ibru.
But in a counter-claim, eighth defendant Janet urged the court to
declare that all matters pertaining to the estate be adjudicated in Nigeria as
well as a declaration that she is entitled to a refund of all expenses,
including the $48,000 incurred by her in defending the law suits of the second
defendant.

Buhari deserves rest and should be allowed – Gov. Fayose
Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has said politicians should allow President Muhammadu Buhari to enjoy his rest and stop disturbing him with needless visits.
The governor spoke on a live programme tagged, ‘Meet Your Governor’ aired on the state-owned Ekiti Television and Radio Stations on Saturday.
Fayose, while praying for sound health for the president, said his desire for a better Nigeria accounted for why he had been criticising the Federal Government when things were not done the right way.
He explained that he had stopped criticising the president since he travelled abroad for medical attention because anyone could fall sick and the president should be allowed to enjoy his rest.
“I don’t have any problem with the president; the only problem I have is with his handlers. They will say something today and say another tomorrow. Anybody can fall sick.
“I have not been criticising the president because he is sick. When he comes back and he is not doing the right thing, we will continue to criticise him,” he said.
Describing the visits by some All Progressives Congress chieftains to the president as a make-belief and too much of eye service, Fayose said it would not have been necessary if the people knew the truth from the onset.
“It is God that gives power to whoever He wills. As humans, we can fall sick. But people should allow him to rest.
“Some people are visiting him to convince people that he is well; that is a make-belief and too much of eye-service.”
'I'll never be friends with Meek Mill again', Drake talks about Meek Mill, Jay Z, Nicki and Kanye
Ovo sound rapper, Drake, has dismissed possible reunion with Philly rapper, Meek Mill. Drake talked about his famous beef with Meek Mill, writing his own songs, reunion with Nicki, his fall with Jay Z, which got Kanye pissed and ranting on social media, in an interview with DJ Semtex on OVO Radio.
“Meek Mill at the time, due to some issue with Nicki [Minaj] or whatever it was, decided to create a narrative that I don’t write my own music because that was what was convenient for him at the time.
“The reason why I never felt necessarily pressured to sit down and defend myself right away, or go do an interview, [was] because anybody that’s been in any room with me knows first of all knows that
I am one of the best writers, period. That is what I do.
“That is what I’m known for. I go and write for other people. I write my biggest songs, my biggest hits; the massive majority of my catalogue has all been written solely by me, which is a big feat, because music is a collaborative process.”
“You can interview Meek and ask him if he thinks it was worth it, I bet he’ll tell you ‘no,’” he said.
However, Drake thinks the beef wasn't all about not tweeting Meek’s album.
“Unfortunately, on display for the world, that was a terrible impulsive decision because you weren’t ready.
“And in my mind I study the game, and also I’m a very calculated thinker, I’m sitting here thinking you’re ready. I’m thinking this goes so high up that I’m about to see the craziest sh*t I had ever seen. I didn’t know who was going to be on a diss track with him, or what he had ready. I’m thinking this is like three months in the making and I’m getting blindsided.”
“I knew I had to retaliate because I realized he was unprepared. When you realize someone is unprepared you have to strike.”
On Nicki, he had this to say;
“You know how good I am at writing music but you really tried to spin the entire narrative of my career, but like end my life and take food from my family and really end it all.
“And you didn’t even do it through music you just tweeted. It was like sickening to me. I had to really get revenge on that situation. I respect revenge when it’s warranted and that was warranted.
“It’s not something that I’m proud of because it took just as much of an emotional toll on me — I mean, maybe not as much as it did on him — but it took an emotional toll on me.
“It was just a lot. You always gotta hear about it, even just seeing people get so riled up off negativity. It didn’t feel great. It was what had to happen at the time.”
Here's the video of the interview;

DO You Know That 40 women die of bre*st cancer daily in Nigeria
The Executive Director, Ovie Brume Foundation, Adeola Awogbemi, has said that as much as 40 women die of bre*st cancer each day.
Ms Awogbemi stated this during a walk organised by the organisation for pupils as part of activities to mark the World Cancer Day 2017 in Yaba, Lagos.
To reduce the number of women dying of bre*st cancer and to ensure that the disease is detected early, Ms Awogbemi advised that preventive measures should start early.
She said, “We feel strongly the need to educate people about the pandemic and stem the tide by making information available to people.
“It is not the cancer that is really killing them but late detection. Most people are in denial, so they fast and pray for it to go instead of treating it. If you detect it early, you can still treat it and survive it.
“When it comes to preventing cancer, it is wise to educate the young ones. Perhaps if they start preaching this gospel, if they start creating awareness in their schools and communities too, people will become aware.”

Checkout TB Joshua new Prophecies On Buhari
Prophet T.B. Joshua released more prophecies to his congregation at The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday specifically calling for prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari’s health.
“I have some burning issues which I want to share with you,” Joshua began before breaking his silence on the tensions currently engulfing Nigeria in the wake of Buhari’s prolonged absence on medical leave in the United Kingdom.
“Your president has good intentions. Good intentions cannot be carried out alone without good followers”.
“The priority of every Nigerian citizen now is the good health of your President because it can be anyone’s turn tomorrow. What you wish for others, God makes happen to you.”
Calling on congregants to rise up in prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari, he prayed specifically for “strength where there is weakness.”
Joshua went further to offer a profound prayer for Nigeria’s democracy.
“More importantly, we also have to rise up and pray that the Lord should give us the grace to sustain democracy. Pray for an uninterrupted democracy,” he said, much to the surprise of the congregation.
The cleric then re-echoed his prophecy in December 2015 about the devaluation of the Nigerian currency and a widespread scarcity of food.
According to him, the Naira would reach a ratio of 650 to one US Dollar on the black market before it stabilises “if the system agrees with Divine will.” Joshua said these issues would continue to plague the country “until June.”

Notorious Robber Busted While Trying To Rob A Woman
Men of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected robber, Gbenga Babatunde, for allegedly robbing some residents of the state.
The 25yrs old man was arrested after a failed attempt to rob a woman who had withdrawn money from an Automated Teller Machine point in Alaba Rago Market, Ojo, Lagos.
The police allegedly recovered a locally-made shotgun with two cartridges from the suspect.
“We gathered that he's not alone. He had an accomplice, who managed to escape after the botched operation,” a policeman said.
The suspect reportedly confessed to the crime, saying he went into robbery about two years ago.
He said, “I have been in the crime since I met Samson (the accomplice) at a joint in Alaba two years ago. Since then, we have been working together. We have robbed about 35 people. What we usually did was to get to any ATM point by 4am and hide.
“As soon as our victims collected the money, we usually accosted them and would collect the money and escape. The largest money we collected was N40,000. Yesterday (Saturday), we collected N12,500.
“This morning (Sunday), we wanted to collect money from a lady and she ran away. We thought she had gone, not knowing that she went to inform the RRS. That was around 5am. They arrested me, but my partner escaped.”
Also recovered from the suspect was a First Bank MasterCard, belonging to one Iweka Christopher Uchenna, and a Diamond Bank debit card, owned by one Nkechi Esther Idoko.
Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said, “The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.”

Football Star Celebrates Birthday With Twin Sons Just Weeks After Wife's Death
These heartbreaking photos show footballer Thomas Buffel celebrating his
birthday with his twin sons just weeks after his wife died from cancer.
The former Rangers star's partner, Stephanie De Buysser, tragically passed away aged 39 on January 25 following a battle with bowel cancer.
The pair, who were long-term partners, only married in June last year. They have two three-year-old boys together.
Yesterday morning, Buffel posted a series of pictures on Instagram, showing him marking his 36th birthday with his adorable sons.
He wrote: "Nice surprise from my boys today. Nineteen little presents in a box. Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart."
The footballer's birthday - which he celebrated with a doughnut instead of a cake - comes less than a month after he lost his wife to cancer.
The Belgian midfielder, who ended a three-year Ibrox spell in 2008, married his longtime partner and mum to his twins last summer.
But in December, he revealed that Stephanie was battling bowel cancer.
Just before Christmas, the dad-of-two, who played for Rangers between 2005 and 2008, said he was hopeful his wife would recover.
"We genuinely believe that things will turn out for the best one day," he said.
But on January 26, he posted a poignant tribute on Instagram, saying that Stephanie had passed away the night before, the Record reported.
The message in Dutch translated as: "Our beloved princess has left us this night .. there are no words, she still fought to the end, without ever complaining, she was still worried about others! We saw her so happy.
"She has inspired us all, and it is now up to us to carry on her positivity."
Buffel tried hard to support Stephanie through her illness.
In December he said: "When I asked her to marry me she felt much better, and strong enough for our wedding day.
"I promised Stephanie's father before he died that I would always look after her. I have now repeated that promise for the whole world to hear."
Rangers paid Dutch club Feyenoord £2.3million for Buffel in January 2005.
He went on to make 83 Light Blues appearances, scoring 16 goals.
He helped Rangers to win the 2005 SPL title and Scottish League Cup, before returning home to rejoin former club Cercle Bruges eight years ago.
He now captains Belgian top-flight club KRC Genk, playing under shirt number 19.
