A teenage girl was found dead in toilets at her school after
complaining she was being bullied by other students, an inquest has
heard.
Dagmara Przybysz's mum Ewelina said her daughter had been having trouble
with one girl in particular and on several occasions overheard comments
such as 'stupid Pole'.
The 16-year-old was pronounced dead after emergency crews desperately
tried to revive her at Pool Academy in Pool, Cornwall at around 2.15pm
on May 17 2016.
An inquest into her death heard the Polish-born teenager, who died as a
result of hanging, had been having trouble with some girls at her school
and had injured herself the day before she died by punching a wall
after becoming angry because she said some girls were laughing at her.
In a statement, Dagmara's mother, Ewelina, said her daughter, who was a
"very beautiful lady", got on better with boys. Most of her friends,
including her boyfriend, went to Redruth School.
She said: "Dagmara often talked to me about her problems and she was hurt if someone said something unpleasant to her."
Mrs Przybysz said she understood her daughter had been having a problem with one girl who had "called Dagmara names".
"I don't know exactly what was said," she said.
"This incident occurred only a few days before Dagmara passed away ... I
don't know whether these incidents were racist in nature; however, I
can say that on several occasions she overheard comments such as 'stupid
Pole'.
"I can't say when these comments were made. The last time was some time in the last year."
Mrs Przybysz said on another occasion Dagmara heard a similar comment
being made to another Polish or Lithuanian child and was "always trying
to stand up" for the other child.
In a statement read out to the hearing, pathologist Dr Juliane Stolte,
who carried out the post-mortem examination, said the cause of death was
hanging.

The Osun State Police command have arrested one Mrs Omotayo
Salawudeen, 39, for allegedly killing her husband, 43 year old
Salawudeen Hakeem, just because he married a second wife. The state
commissioner of police, Olafimihan Adeoye, disclosed this while speaking
with journalists today on the achievement of his command for the months
of June and mid July.
According to CP Adeoye, the incident happened at the couple's home
at No.11, Adeniran street, Hallelujah Estate, Osogbo. The police

which was lodged at Dada Estate Divisional Police Headquarters by one

out comprehensive investigations.
The investigations carried out led to the arrest of the deceased
wife, Omotayo Salawudeen and her co-plotter, Oladapo Dolapo, a hired
assassin. The assassin Oladapo, an ex-convict who just gained his
freedom from Ilesa prison about four months ago was contacted by Mrs.

inside a store in their apartment. When the husband came, the wife
signaled her guest (Oladapo) and immediately,Mrs. Omotayo Salawudeen
used pillow to cover her husband’s mouth while Oladapo Dolapo, a
musician from Ejigbo, stabbed him to death in his chest”, the CP said.
Meanwhile, after the killing, Oladapo wrote some inscriptions such as
“NO PRICE NO PAY”, “AXE AYE” “FORGIVENESS IS A SIN” on the wall and
door respectively under the disguise that the killing was carried out by
cultists.
“The wife made an outcry after Oladapo had gone to raise alarm that suspected assassins have killed her husband”.
The duo of Mrs Salawudeen who had sometimes gone to her rival’s house
with a petrol keg with a threat to burn her hands down, and her partner

MMMG boss, Ubi Franklin has penned down a touching birthday message to
his son, Ubi, whose marriage to Lilian Esoro ended soon after their son
Jayden
Naetochukwu Keyu Ekapong Ubi-ofem was born, said if he were to write
his life in the past one year into a song, the first and second verses
will be sad lyrics. By that, he was probably referring to his failed
marriage with his son's mother.
He, however, said that the rest of the verses will be filled
with praise, worship, faith, hope, love and thanksgiving, all because of
the presence of his son. He went on to shower the little tot with
praises and prayers.
He wrote:
"If I were a singer I'll write my last one year into a
song. Trust me the first and second verses will be sad lyrics But the
last verse will be filled up with praise and worship, faith, Hope and
love. Outro will be Thanksgiving
"Are you sure that you haven’t learnt how to write yet? Because you
carved your name all over my heart since the very day you were born.
Your angelic smile and your innocent eyes support my faith in the fact
that life is worth living despite all the troubles.
"Finally, you have got a whole number as your age. My dear child, as
you grow up, may you lose all your fears and inhibitions but never the
innocence in your soul. The cutest selfies ever, are the ones taken with
you If any of us boring adults had the chance, I bet we would all want
to go back to being one year olds again. So enjoy your enviable age
while it lasts. May The Lord uphold me as parent to stay strong and
mentor your growing up.
"Create in my son a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within
him (Psalm 51:10). May my son walk after You, God, and fear You and keep
Your commandments and obey Your voice. May he serve You and hold fast
to You (Deuteronomy 13:4). May my son be strong and courageous and not
fear or be in dread, for it is You, Lord, our God, who goes with him.
You will never leave him or forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6). May my son
walk before You, God, as King David walked, with integrity of heart and
uprightness, doing according to all that You have commanded him, and
keeping Your statutes and rules (1 Kings 9:4). Like Timothy, may my son
be an example to believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and
in purity (1 Timothy 4:12). Happy Birthday - Jayden Naetochukwu Keyu
Ekapong Ubi-ofem. My son. God Bless you"

An Australian woman due to get married next month was shot dead by a US
police officer after she called 911 to report a possible assault outside
her home.
Justine Damond, 40, went outside in her pyjamas after police arrived and
was shot through the door of a squad car by an officer seated inside
the vehicle, it was claimed.
The officer's body camera was not turned on at the time, raising questions from the woman's family and Minneapolis' mayor.
Ms Damond was killed outside the home she shared with her fiance, Don Damond, and was preparing for their wedding in August.
The bride-to-be, who used her fiance's surname despite not yet being
married, wrote online that she was working as a spiritual healer and
meditation coach, but was also a trained veterinarian.
Ms Damond was fatally shot in an alley behind her home at about 11.30pm on Saturday night.
Dressed in her pyjamas, the woman was talking to an officer in the
driver's seat of the police car when the officer in the passenger seat
pulled out his gun and shot her through the driver's side door, sources
told the Star-Tribune.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), which is
investigating the incident, said two officers responded to “a call of
possible assault" when “at one point an officer fired their weapon,
fatally striking a woman".
The BCA added that the officers’ body cameras weren’t during on at the time of the incident and that they are investigating.
The squad car's camera did not capture the incident in the 5100 block of
Washburn Avenue South, in Minneapolis' upscale Fulton neighbourhood.
Ms Damond's family have demanded answers and the city's mayor has said she was "deeply disturbed" by the incident.
The BCA said of its investigation: "More information will be available
once initial interviews with incident participants and any witnesses are
complete.
"The officers' body cameras were not turned on at the time and the squad camera did not capture the incident.
