Burna Boy postpones concert “due to recent allegations” against him

Burna Boy
Dancehall star, Burna Boy whose concert was scheduled to hold on Sunday, December 17, has reportedly postponed it due to recent allegations leveled against him.
Though the concert’s new date is yet to be announcement, however the singer’s management said they are working to get his name off the bad book, after being accused of attacking Mr. 2Kay after his performance at the “Buckwyld N Breathless” concert which held at Eko Hotel and Suites.
Here’s  the press release from the singer’s team;
Bavent Street Live, promoters of The Burna Boy Concert Show, scheduled for the 17th Dec. 2017 at the Balmoral Convention centre wish to inform all fans and lovers of Nigeria’s top-most afro-fusion artist, Burna Boy, and our corporate partners and sponsors of a shift in the date of the above scheduled concert.
This is solely due to the recent allegations levelled against Burna Boy, which are as of now, unfounded and are yet to be proven. Burna Boy and his management are working assiduously within the ambits and requirements of the law to clear his name in these investigations.
He therefore needs time to come back and promises an incredible performance for his fans. For now, he needs the time and space to deal with these allegations, which have arisen at such a crucial and sensitive time when he’s working on his album and his concert.
We ask that we respect the time he needs during this challenging period.
The new date for The Burna Boy Show will be communicated in the near future, (all tickets purchased will remain valid, however you have the option to receive your full refund from the ticketing partners immediately).
We thank all Burna Boy fans, our great partners and sponsors for your continued love, trust and support.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP William Aya, who confirmed the development to newsmen, said the affected officers had since left the service.

He said that NDLEA would soon arraign the officer in court to face proper charges, adding that their dismissal followed due process.

The drug was conveyed in a Toyota Picnic car with registration number Kogi KNA 185 LG when it was intercepted by NDLEA operatives.

Communication To The White House Resign

Omarosa Manigault, a Nigerian who is director of communications for the White House’s office of public liaison, has resigned.

According to sources, Manigault who earns $180,000 per annum will leave the White House on January 20, 2017, exactly one year after President Donald Trump took office.
It is not immediately clear why Omarosa resigned but the 43-year-old, who recently married John Newman, a Florida-based pastor, has been struggling to keep her job and family.

A source said Omarosa’s departure is connected to the “internal war” within Trump cabinet.

Her decision raises the expectation of round of departures from the White House going into the New Year.
The White House has said that deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will leave her position early next year.
At least 14 people have left Trump’s government.
Omarosa was the director of African-American outreach in Trump’s campaign.
