It was lengthy testimony post for Facebook user, Luke Erukakpome, as he shared photos of the cobra that would have bitten him in his toilet in Delta State.According to him, he escaped being bitten after he used his torch to check out the sink. However he saw a ‘black stuff’ below the water in the toilet seat, and was trying to identify what it could be because he used the toilet’ not too long before the revisit. That was when he noticed it is a cobra.
Luke disclosed that the Cobra was so big that they could not device any means to kill it than to use a gun, which left them waiting for two hours for members of the vigilante group in the area to arrive.
His post reads;
God’s Miracles never end and they are marvellous in our eyes.
God saved me from a dangerous horrible looking cobra yesterday night in my toilet Seat(WC) here in Abraka delta state.
It was around 7.34pm when wanted to use the toilet (pee) I decided to use my touch light to view the sink before action,i saw a black stuff below the water in the toilet seat and I was trying to identify what it could be because I used the toilet some hours ago. Lo and behold it was a horrible looking cobra. I called the care taker of the hostel where I live, he came and confirmed it.The snake is so big that we couldn’t devised another good means to kill it than the use of Gun🔫 .For more than 2hrs the snake was there until we called the attention of the vigilante group and finally it was killed with the aid of a gun.
Please always make sure you look very well before using your toilet. I couldn’t believe how it entered but verifications say it came from the toilet suck away pit.

64 people died as fire guts shopping mall in Russia

64 people died as fire guts shopping mall in Russia lailasnews 3
About sixty four people have died in a fire incident at shopping and entertainment complex in the Siberian coal-mining city of Kemerovo, Russia.
The blaze reportedly started on an upper floor of the Winter Cherry complex during school holidays with shops, cinema and bowling alley packed at the time.
Reports have it that majority of the victims are children.
Video posted on social media showed people jumping from windows to escape the flames. And some people died in the process.
According to preliminary information, the roof collapsed in two cinemas,” Russia’s Investigative Committee said in a statement.

Russian authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
BBC reports that four people have been detained for questioning, including the head of the company that manages the shopping centre and some other management staff of the complex.
The fire broke Sunday night and some 660 emergency personnel were deployed in the rescue effort.
The region’s deputy governor Vladimir Chernov was quoted as saying the fire probably began in a children’s trampoline room.
The preliminary suspicion is that a child had a cigarette lighter which ignited foam rubber in this trampoline room, and it erupted like gunpowder,” he said.
But Rossiya 24 TV, a national broadcaster, said an electrical fault was the most likely cause – as in most previous deadly fires in Russia.
Russia’s commissioner for children’s rights, Anna Kuznetsova, has blamed negligence, and called for urgent safety checks at similar entertainment complexes.
Kemerovo is a key coal-producing area about 3,600km (2,200 miles) east of the capital, Moscow.
The shopping centre which opened in 2013 covers about 23,000 sq m (248,000 sq ft), and has a petting zoo, all of whose animals are reported to have died.

Rescue efforts are still ongoing as about 660 emergency personnel were deployed in the rescue effort. Firefighters tackled the blaze for more than 17 hours.

"Woe unto the man or the woman who marries any of them. So shall it be by the power vested on me by God Almighty” Tboss Dad Place Curse On Her

Engr Idowu Vincent, who is the father to popular Nigerian celebrity Tboss has laid a curse on any man that makes the attempt to take her hand in marriage.
The man who recently got wedded over the weekend alleged that he was abandoned by his daughter Tboss, and her siblings.
He wrote on Instagram:
”When destiny smiles on someone, he forgets that there is life elsewhere. If I look like a roasted goat on my wedding day, that’s cool but that writer will soon become a resident of a subcity where people with severed limbs, broken bones, amputations, stinking blind and lame reside. THIS IS A PROMISE.
I live a humble, private life and did not intimate TBoss or any of her siblings of my plan to remarry in accordance with my tradition/custom. Furthermore, I did not make public or post anything about my marriage.
I am starting a new beginning and clearing the slate of all the wrong decisions I made in my life. I just want to forget Tokunbor (TBoss) and her siblings and start life afresh for all its worth. If and wherever Tboss and any of her siblings gets married, it shall be without my blessings and woe unto the man or the woman who marries any of them. So shall it be by the power vested on me by God Almighty”.
He had earlier responded to a critic who mentioned that he looked like a roasted goat on his wedding day:
”Ordinarily, I really wouldn’t like to make any comment here knowing how petty and unreasonable most Nigerians are. I am neither a politician, a business mogul nor money ritualist. I am just a humble, comfortable old man.
There was never a time I bragged of my wealth. And I have been a devoted and honest civil servant all my life. So, are Nigerians celebrating wealth or honesty? I am proud that I served my country faithfully and with integrity. I never took one kobo bribe as a Civil Servant and as a lecturer I never took one Kobo for blocking.
Those Nigerians jeering at my simplicity should cover their heads with shame. TBoss and her siblings have their lives and certainly without me. I never asked TBoss for one Kobo and I have never seen Wendy for over 13years though she visits Nigeria regularly in the past 10yrs from Romania.
The last time I saw Tokunbor(TBoss) was in August 2016. Their mother left me on good grounds in 2006. Even God found out that it was not proper for man ( Adam) to live alone so He created Eve to be Adam’s companion. So, what’s wrong in having a devoted and understanding companion as wife even at my old

Nigerian athleteBlessing Okagbare, turned up with an impressive 22.04secs in her 200m race at the Wes Kittley Invitational Track and Field Meet at the Abilene Christian University, which erased the 22-year-old previous African record of 22.07secs set by Mary Onyali at a Meet in Switzerland in 1996.
Apart from becoming the new African record in the race which Cierra White followed in second place in 23.26secs, while Natasha McDonald settled for third in 24.23secs, Okagbare’s winning time also became the new national record in the women’s 200m. Okagbare’s previous personal best in the event, was 22.23secs was set at the 2014 Eugene Diamond League.
Mary Onyali, who was particularly pleased that her 22 year-old African record has been broken by her compatriot, told a ThisDay correspondent;
“My 200m African record went to my little sister yesterday. Congrats Ble-Ble Baby ! Now we are back on track !! Thanks for keeping this in the family Kitty; While we hunt for the other one ! On a mission. Stay tuned” as she gushed with enthusiasm at the feat of Okagbare yesterday.

Okagbare’s previous Personal Best (PB) in the event was 22.23s, set at the 2014 Eugene Diamond League. She now holds the Nigerian women’s records in the 100m (10.79secs) and 200m (22.04secs).
With this new form, it is going to be difficult for the Delta-born sprinter to avoid defending the double sprint medals she won at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland four years ago.
The former Team Nigeria captain had earlier signified her intention, to race only in the 4x100m relay at the Games scheduled to hold in Gold Coast, Australia between April 4 and 15. She remains the favourite for both the 100m and 200m gold medals at the Games, even though the Wes Kittley Invitational was her first competition of the season.
