Super Eagles player John Ogu and wife have unfollowed each other on Instagram. The couple who once shared loved up photos of themselves on the platform have deleted each other’s pictures on the platform.

Akaolisa has changed her name back to her maiden name Chiugo Veronica Akaolisa and even changed her Instagram handle too.

The two got married traditionally on December 29th, 2015 at their home town in Anambra State. Before then they had their court wedding at Ikoyo registry.


You will recall the player had openly proposed to his then girlfriend on a football pitch shortly after a match. Whatever went wrong! Hmm…

Before the traditional wedding,they had their civil wedding on Thursday, November 12 ,2015 at the Ikoyi Registry.

Meek Mill bailed on a visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Friday after a late-night call from Jay-Z ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story ... Meek agreed to travel to the White House to discuss prison reform. President Trump is hosting a Prison Reform Summit. Participants include members of Congress, various activists and, clearly, people who have become victims of the system.

We're told Jay called Meek Thursday night and made it clear ... meeting with Trump would be problematic for his image and for the cause.

We're told other high-profile African-Americans also called Meek and voiced serious concern.

Meek tells us, "I was originally scheduled to be part of a panel on Prison Reform at the White House to help shed light on the issues within the system. Unfortunately, the focus turned to the President and Myself which concerned me that it might take away from creating a positive result from today’s discussions."

He continues, "As a result, I decided not to attend so that the focus would be solely on fixing our prison system. Most importantIy I remain fully committed to improving our criminal justice system."

Excited Fan Comes From No Where To Remove Singer's Wig As She Greets Pals

Sinitta was left shocked after a man appeared to rip her wig off her head in London on Thursday as she arrived at The London Cabaret Club in Bloomsbury.

The singer, 54, was greeting pals out on the street when a man walked up and removed the red hairpiece from her head as she bent down to pick the purse she had dropped.

Clearly startled in the video footage, the former girlfriend of Simon Cowell was left speechless as a pal picked up her wig from the ground.

Sinitta was seen emerging from a white vehicle in Bloomsbury and seemed to be in good spirits as she kissed and hugged her friend.


The excited commotion caused her to drop her purse and as she bent down to pick it up, the unknown individual in a light tan jacket approached her.

He then quickly took Sinitta's wig from her head and dropped it to the ground as he rapidly left the scene.

While no one appeared to chase after the man, they all proved to be incredulous.

Sinitta in particular, who was left without her red wig, was seen standing still as she processed the shocking sequence of events.

Sinitta made a quick recovery as she posed away outside The London Cabaret Club in The Bloomsbury Ballroom.

With her red wig firmly in place, the TV star flashed a huge smile as she defiantly continued to party the night away.

Court Bars Ikoyi Registry From Conducting Weddings

The Lagos high court has ruled that marriages conducted by Federal Registry, Ikoyi is not legally binding.

Chuka Austine Obiozor, a justice, issued a restraining order to the Ikoyi registry from conducting marriages, saying it is unconstitutional for the Federal Government to perform the duties of the state and local governments.

 The judgement delivered on Suit No: FHC/L/CS/1760/16 said marriage registries in the local government and local council development areas of Lagos State are the authentic and legally-binding government divisions established to carry out such functions.

 Addressing a press conference yesterday, Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Muslim Folami said the judgment will be communicated to all stakeholders, including embassies.


 He said the decision of the court is supreme and is legally binding on all and that all marriages conducted and registered in any of the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas are valid and in accordance with the marriage act. According to him, the judgment will put a stop to the perception of superiority of Ikoyi Marriage Registry over the local government registries.

“We are going to use every available platform in the five divisions across the state to sensitize our people and inform them about this latest development; From Epe to Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja and Lagos Island,” he said.

 In his remarks, Deji Sokeye, the president of the marriage registrars in all the local government and local council development areas, said the responsibilities of the LGAs/LCDAs has come back to them by the virtue of the law and as provided for in section 30 (1) of the marriage act and section 7 (5) of the 1999 constitution. He said the judgement would restore confidence in the certificates already issued and those that will be awarded in future by the registries.
