Sex with condom is not enjoyable – Nigerian doctor says

A Nigerian doctor simply identified as, @DoctorEmto on Twitter has been criticized after he posted a tweet which promotes unsafe sex – Sex with condom is not enjoyable – The doctor had advised.
He however added his readers to use condoms when they are with someone they are not sure of their status


But Twitter users cautioned him, telling him that his tweets will promote irresponsible sex which could be catastrophic in this age of HIV and other deadly STIs.

64 Year Old Man Caught Defiling 6 Year Old Girl

A carpenter, Habib Abdullahi, 64, has also been arrested for defiling a six-year-old girl in Ikorodu, Lagos.

The CP, who paraded the suspect, said the mother of the victim informed the command of the incident, adding that the outcome of the investigation conducted revealed that the suspect took the victim into his room and sexually abused her.

He added that the victim, who was irritated by the suspect’s action, upon interrogation by her mother, identified Abdullahi as the rapist.

Imohimi said, “The Gender Unit is also investigating another case of defilement that occurred in the Ikorodu area of the state and reported by one Mrs Obinna, 37, of Selewu, Ikorodu on behalf of her six-year-old daughter against one Habib Abdullahi, 64, a carpenter of the same address as the complainant.

“During interrogation, it was revealed that onMonday, December 3, 2018, around 10am, the suspect took the victim into his room and inserted his fingers in her private parts.

“However, her mother noticed that her daughter was unnecessarily irritated and withdrawn; so, she began to ask her questions and she revealed to the mother what Abdullahi had done to her. Investigation is ongoing into the two cases of defilement; the suspects will be charged to court soon.”

Court Grants Six Sowore Supporters Bail

A magistrate court judge in Lagos State has granted bail to six supporters of the African Action Congress (AAC).

The Lagos State police command arrested six supporters of the presidential candidate of the AAC, Omoyele Sowore, at the weekend, for allegedly removing the campaign materials of a political party and replacing them with those of AAC.

At the ruling, the six AAC supporters pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge levelled against them; which are – “conspiracy to commit felony to with criminal damage to property, criminal damage to property of Jimi Agbaje by tearing up his campaign posters on Awolowo House Fence and breach of peace by tearing campaign posters of other political parties and replacing them with AAC presidential campaign posters”.


The defence counsel, Taiwo Olawale, told the court that the members of the AAC were only pasting posters at night.

Mr Oladele said because the party is not a major party, the police is using the instrument of the state to harass them.

Objecting, representative of the commissioner of police, D. Raphael, told the magistrate that the suspects where indeed caught in a criminal act, “which will be determined in trial.”

The judge, in her response, after hearing statements from both the prosecuting and defence counsels, said the offence was a bailable one.

“This court is not ready for any trial. This is a bailable offence. I hereby grant bail in the sum of fifty thousand naira each, with one responsible surety”.

Hearing was adjourned to February 4.
