After Nigeria’s entertainment scene was rocked with the death of ace producer, OJB Jezreel following a prolonged battle with kidney failure, more entertainers battling the same health issues have emerged.
Nollywood actor, Leo Mezie has been down with kidney ailment for some time, with his colleagues rallying for funds to aid his treatment.
Another actor, Prince James Uche, a former vice president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, has been battling similar health issues for a few years, and he is now reportedly in dire need for dialysis.
In a bid to solicit for funds for his ailing colleague, Desmond Elliot called on the public yesterday, October 19, that James Uche who ‘has been in hospital struggling to survive for over one year now’,needs money for ‘dialysis, medical care & food to survive.’
As it was with Leo Mezie, an account has been opened in support of James Uche, which was given by Desmond as: ‘Prince James Uche, WEMA BANK PLC 0232151677 OR ZENITH BANK PLC 1001063788.
