Footballer gets yellow card for proposing to girlfriend during match (photos/video)

What happened was Ashton Surber — who plays in Guam for the NAPA Rovers — scored a dazzling bicycle kick goal.
Then to celebrate, he ran over to point at his girlfriend in the crowd, pulled off his jersey and revealed a shirt that says “MARRY ME?”.

Unfortunately for him, right before he got on one knee, the referee showed up behind him and flashed him a yellow card for tearing off his shirt. lol.

Reports say his woman said yes to the proposal though. Totally worth the yellow card, wasn’t it? See more photos and the sweet video below.
