Body of medical doctor who jumped into the lagoon has been recovered

The body of the medical doctor, Allwell Orji, who stopped his car on third mainland bridge while returning from church, to jump into the lagoon, has been recovered.

The Punch reports that a police source disclosed that the late Allwell’s mother had been contacted to come for the identification of the body.

“The body of the doctor was found at about 11.30am. We want to be double sure
and his parent has been called to come and identify the body,” the source said.
