Brazilian Goalkeeper Who Fed Girlfriend To Dogs Says He Is Not A Bad Guy And Wants A New Life
The Brazilian goalkeeper who ordered the murder of his girlfriend before feeding her to his Rottweilers, has incredibly claimed he’s ‘not a bad guy’.
Bruno Fernandes de Souza was let out of jail in February on a legal technicality after spending just six years behind bars for his horrendous crime.
The goalie had former model girlfriend Eliza Samudio tortured and beaten before being strangled, chopped into pieces and fed to a pack of ¬Rottweilers… following a row over child support.
But in his first interview since leaving jail albeit temporarily while he appeals his sentence and controversially signing for Boa Esporte, Bruno is quoted as saying in Guardian: “Dude, what happened, happened.
“I made a mistake, a serious one, but mistakes happens in life – I’m not a bad guy.
“People tried to bury my dream because of one mistake, but I asked God for forgiveness, so I’m carrying on with my career, dude.
“I’m starting over.”
Meanwhile, Boa Esporte president Rone Moraes da Costa was unmoved by threats after his decision to sign Bruno.
He said: “If this city doesn’t like it, I move us to another city. Bruno deserves this chance.”
His words echoed those of club owner Rafael Gois Silva Xavier who earlier this week claimed: “He was found guilty, he served his time and he was released by the courts.
“He deserves another opportunity.”
Bruno, now 32, was at one point one of the hottest prospects in South America – even being tipped to play for Brazil at the 2014 World Cup.
After leading Flamengo to top of the league, there were also rumours linking the No1 to Serie A giants AC Milan.
However, his glittering career came to an abrupt halt in 2013 when he was sentenced to 22 years in jail for his part in the gruesome plot.
Due to the leniency of the Brazilian legal system, Bruno was allowed to walk free in February having served just six years in total, following the 2010 incident.

61-year old man nabbed with fresh woman's head says the lady came for spiritual solution to her problem
A 61-year-old landlord, Toafeek Hassan, was, yesterday, arrested with
fresh human head and other body parts of a lady he was alleged to have
murdered, at Ikoga community in Badagry area of Lagos, Sunday.
It was gathered that the deceased, a yet-to-be identified lady, approached Hassan, a cleric, for spiritual cleansing in Sango Otta, due to some challenges she was facing. He was on his way to hand over the needed body parts to a cleric, when he was accosted by curious people, as the bag was dripping blood.
When they forcefully took the bag from him, a female head, two wrists and a heart spilled out. They raised alarm, which alerted other residents. But for the prompt intervention of policemen from Area ‘K’ Command, Badagry, Hassan would have been lynched by a mob, who tied his hands, legs and was dragging him on the ground.
On interrogation before police arrived, Hassan disclosed that it was his second time of killing clients for the unnamed cleric for ritual purpose. According to him, “she was not my direct client. A herbalist, Baba Ronke, brought her to me on Sunday. .
One Alfa from Sango-Otta took her to him. He said that the woman was looking for spiritual solution. The Alfa from Otta uses human beings for rituals. He deceived the woman to Badagry, saying he was bringing her to a senior colleague, who would perform some cleansing by the river side on her.
Immediately they dropped the woman by the riverside they left, with a promise to wait for her at the bus stop. While she was waiting, I came and did my part of the job. She said she was from Ojodu Berger. I felt pity for her, but I could not help the situation.
I was on my way to deliver the needed parts to the Alfa at Sango-Otta when I was arrested. This is my second time of working for Baba Ronke and Alfa.”

Court asked to stop Big Brother Naija
In court papers exclusively obtained by LailasBlog.com, Dr Olusola Omoju is seeking an injunction that restrains broadcast of the reality show on DSTV and GoTV pending determination of the suit.
Read the Motion on Notice below.
In it, Dr Olusola alleges that Multichoice introduced the Big Brother Naija channel, aired adverts for the reality shows which he says promotes indecency, immorality and obscenity and included it on his bouquet without his consent.
That as a result of the inclusion in his bouquet, his family members and other dependents became avid watchers of the Big Brother Naija show and are now being influenced negatively through the
continued broadcast of the show.
He agrees that Multichoice usually introduces a special code to enable subscribers choose whether they want access to show or not but adds that this practice was not continued this year.

NURTW Chairman’s Aide Kills Wedding Guest
The venue of a wedding party in Lagos, Victory Event Centre, Agege, was
on Sunday turned into a house of wailing after a guest was shot dead.
Punch Metro gathered from witnesses and residents that the victim, who had yet to be identified, was eating when he was hit by a stray bullet.
A Punch correspondent was told that an aide of the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Lagos State, Mr. Tajudeen Agbede, fired the shot that produced the stray bullet.
It was gathered that Agbede and some top officials of the NURTW had attended the wedding ceremony.
As Agbede was leaving the event around 6pm, some hoodlums were said to have waylaid him for money.
Punch correspondent was told that when the scene became rowdy, one of his aides shot into the air three times.
The last bullet reportedly hit the victim where he was eating and he fell.
The incident happened on Olurinde Street, Orile Agege.
A witness, who did not want to be identified, said within five minutes, the wedding abruptly ended as everyone fled the scene.
He said, “The bride is the younger sister of the personal assistant of Agbede and that informed the presence of top NURTW officials.
“Everything went on well until Agbede was about leaving around 6pm. There was a scuffle at the venue as some hoodlums asked for money from him. The man was still in their midst when they started fighting one another.
“One of Agbede’s aides fired twice to make way for his principal. As he was about putting the gun in his pocket, he released another shot, which hit the man.
“The man that fired the gun is huge and dark in complexion. He joined Agbede’s convoy and fled.”
A female resident, who lamented the incident, said the victim’s corpse was abandoned as everyone took to their heels.
She explained that no one could identify the deceased as he lay in a pool of blood.
“He was eating outside the hall when he was hit. The bullet hit him near the left eye and came out from the other side of his skull. He died immediately.
“There was confusion on this street yesterday (Sunday). After some minutes, people started coming to see if they knew him. Nobody could identify him. He was a fine-looking gentleman,” she said.
Punch correspondent learnt that some hours later, policemen from the Elere division removed the corpse and deposited it in a mortuary.
Another guest at the party told Punch Metro that the suspect was well known to the NURTW hierarchy.
When contacted, Agbede confirmed being at the venue of the wedding, but said he was not aware that anybody was killed.
He said, “I was at the wedding, but I later left without any incident. We had left the party when the incident happened.”
The Zone 2 Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Aderanti, had ordered investigation into the incident.
Badmos said report from the Elere division indicated that the victim was killed by some gunmen.
She said, “I confirm the murder case. At about 7.10pm, we got a report that around 6.10pm, a man of about 21 years old, whose name and address had yet to be ascertained, was shot dead while eating outside Victory Event Centre, where a wedding was taking place.
