National Assembly staff today, protested over non payment of their allowances and salaries at the lobby of the Senate
The protest which took place amid tight security, had many National Assembly staff in attendance and they carried placards which had the inscription: ‘enough is enough. ‘the Clerk to the National Assembly has suddenly become stupendous’.
They also called out Sani Omolori, Clerk to the National Assembly in their protest songs. The protesters were singing: “Sani Omolori, juju de fail’, ‘Ole’ as they moved round the balcony to the chambers.
