"some of you even go EXTRA Mile to become a baby mama thinking pregnancy will give you a place in his home and heart" Dolapo Badmus

Being a baby mama is not worth it - Dolapo Badmus advises young girls lailasnews
Police public relations officer, Dolapo Badmus has advised young girls that being a baby mama is not worth it.The celebrity police woman took to her Instagram page to state that being a baby mama can make ones life miserable, especially when the lady cannot afford to feed herself.
She further said that having a child for a man doesn’t guarantee a lady a place in his heart. See what she wrote below;
Warning to young girls out there: STOP opening your body and soul to a man that don’t really care about you! It’s injurious….some of you even go EXTRA Mile to become a baby mama thinking pregnancy will give you a place in his home and heart?
Hell NO! All you might achieve thereafter is to be tagged someone’s BABYMAMA! Is the title worth it? How can you debase yourself just to get an unconventional title of BABYMAMA When you can calm down and get your life moving forward!
Yesterday, i had cause to sort out Baby mama and sweet boy issue! It was tough…The only thing that the young girl could do was to cry and cry with the words “My Life is miserable”
Young girls please stop making your dear life miserable just because you want to be identified with a man when you can surpass him in all things if you work hard for yourself…..NOTE: Pregnancy don’t hold a man down, good values, moral and love do! Don’t be a BABYMAMA especially when you cannot feed yourself not to talk of an unborn child, it turns you to a nuisance.”

Instagram On Fire As Wale Gats Slam Davido For flouting NYSC rules by wearing PDP uniforms

Davido is flouting NYSC rules by wearing PDP uniforms - Wale Gates lailasnews

Popular comedian, Wale Gates has pointed how Nigerian singer, Davido is flouting the NYSC rules by wearing PDP uniforms. David Adeleke who is popularly known by his stage name, Davido is a serving corps member and should abide by the rules and regulations of the scheme but there is one rule he is flouting and it has led to a debate on Twitter after comedian Wale Gates pointed it out.
According to the NYSC rules and regulations, serving corps members are not allowed to take part in partisan politics. Doing so attracts a penalty of 3 months without pay. But Davido has been supporting his uncle who is contesting for the Governor of Osun state and has been photographed at rallies clad in the PDP uniform
Wale Gates shared a photo of Davido in his NYSC uniform and another of him in a PDP uniform and added a screenshot of the NYSC rule being flouted by the popular singer. He then invited lawyers to discuss it. See Wale Gates post below;
But most people are of the opinion that there’s nothing to be discussed because Davido can well do without the three months meagre allowance.
See what a lot of people are saying below;

@titilayo_oo – Well, there’s David Adeleke, a current Nigerian Corp Member.
Then there is Davido, a separate legal entity, who is acting on the grounds of being a contracted entertainer in Osun State campaign rally.
They may be thesame person but also not technically thesame person..
@cubicmart01 – This is too harsh on Davido how will he survive without this pay.
@AdesojiAgboola – Wale, read George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”. All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.
#ThisIsNigeria
@B_eejayy – Aww he sacrificed 3 months #19,800 to support his uncle… i don’t know what lawyers are explaining again o.

New Zealand Minister Sacked After 'Physical Altercation With Press Secretary'

A government minister who allegedly had a physical altercation with a press secretary was fired by New Zealand premier Jacinda Ardern on Thursday (Sep 20), the second to leave under a cloud in as many weeks.

The centre-left prime minister did not detail what Customs Minister Meka Whaitiri did during an incident last month, but said an internal government report into the matter convinced her the minister needed to go.

"Based on the context and conclusions of the report, I no longer have confidence in Meka Whaitiri as a minister at this time," she said.

Unconfirmed media reports said Whaitiri was accused of bullying after becoming involved in a physical altercation with a press secretary who had just started working for her.

Father Who Sold His Beloved Ford 17 Years Ago To Pay For Wife's Cancer Treatment Gets It Back As A Gift From His Kids

A doting husband who sold his beloved Ford Mustang 17 years ago in order to pay for his wife's cancer treatment had the car gifted back to him by his children.

Wesley Ryan broke down in tears in the middle of a Kohl's parking lot in San Antonio, Texas, as the 1993 Mustang he once dubbed Christine arrived on a trailer three weeks ago.

Son Jake Ryan, who bought the car along with sister Jeni and her boyfriend, documented the emotional event in a Facebook post which has since been shared thousands of times.

Wife Laura also enjoyed the moment, having been cancer-free for 13 years.

In the post, Jake said that 'anyone who knew my dad back in the day in his heyday knew this car and knew how much it meant to him.'

He said: 'They told me "Dad, we can never repay you," but it was never about repaying me.

'I tell them, "be successful, be productive, pay it forward." What they did for me shows where they are: they are balanced human beings.

'My wife and I have succeeded, we've raised productive adults, it's the strongest, most-powerful feeling that a parent can have.'

Ekweremadu Condemns Ban On Use Of Phones In Polling Cubicles

Ike Ekweremadu, the Deputy Senate President, yesterday says the country would be going backwards if the use of smartphones are banned during elections. He urged INEC tolook into it, saying even the international observers needs phones and other gadgets to cover the election.

The Deputy Senate President made this known during a condolence visit to the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, at his country home in Toru-Orua, on the demise of his 72-year-old mother, Mrs Goldcoast Dickson.

According to the Special Adviser to the governor on Public Affairs, Mr Daniel Alabrah, Ekweremadu is quoted to have said;

“Nigeria must take full advantage of technology as it could not afford to lag behind, especially in the bid to ensure citizens’ participation through recording of results and the electoral processes.

“The international observers would need their smart phones and other media devices to record and send back information to their home countries.

“On the issue of INEC’s ban on smart phones at polling units, that is completely unconstitutional because we have provisions in the Constitution that make room for freedom of communication, expression and even freedom of the Press. That is what this ban is trying to abridge.

“Nigerians are free to express themselves through the media and free speech. I believe that in this age of technology, we cannot be going backwards. So we need to take full advantage of the accomplishments of technology in our life.”

He added, “We are amending the Electoral Act to make provision for the announcement of results at polling booths and if our people are unable to communicate, it makes no sense at all. We are hoping that we can accomplish a free, fair and credible election by the use of technology.”
