Nigerian Kidnapper Who Escaped From Jail In Ghana Is Re-Arrested

Samuel Udoetuk-Wills a Nigerian kidnapper, who escaped from the custody of the Takoradi Metropolitan Police Command in Ghana on 30th December, has been re-arrested by the police.

Samuel was before then held for the offense of kidnapping.

According to reports, Udoetuk-Wills was recaptured in the wee hours of Friday by three policemen in an abandoned building in the bush at Kanssawurodu, near Takoradi.

It was gathered that the suspect was found sleeping deeply in the disused building. Upon his arrest he head-butted one of the policemen in an attempt to escape. He was overpowered and is currently in custody.


He had been arrested on December 22 in connection with the alleged kidnapping and disappearance of a number of girls, for which a circuit court had placed him in police custody to reappear on January 9.
