Tiwa Savage To Return to Tee Billz

About six months after her marital squabble, it appears Tiwa Savage is ready to mend fences with her estranged hubby, Tunji Balogun, aka Tee Billz.

According to sources close to the singer, her body language indicates that she’s ready to reconcile with her husband and father of her son. Already, there have been meetings between both families aimed at a peaceful reconciliation.

Tiwa is said to have been meeting older couples and counsellors who have been advising her to give her marriage another chance in respect of the ‘for better, for worse’ vows she took at the altar.

A source told Vanguard: “You can take my word for it that a reconciliation is in the offing between Tiwa and Teebillz. She has told people close to her that she misses Tunji, and she wants him back in her life. Also, as their son, Jamil is growing older, Tiwa wants to ensure that he dad around."

Speaking further, the source said, “Of course, she has also given a condition that Teebillz gets help so that all the issues that led to his public meltdown will not happen again.”

As a pointer to the fact that Tiwa is ready to accommodate her husband, she paused her performance last Sunday at the Three Thrones concert which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, to seek for marital advice from ‘veteran’ singing couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe.

“You’ve been married for so long, and you’re also in the limelight; how have you managed to keep your relationship intact for all these years? There’s a lot of pressure on young couples and I’m very jealous of you,” Tiwa said right on stage.

Timaya Gets Mouth Waatering Multi-Million Naira Deal As Glo Ambassador

Timaya has joined the list of Globacom brand ambassadors. In an official statement, the firm said that the singer was signed on as the latest Glo brand ambassador last week.

The company disclosed that Timaya was made a Glo ambassador because of his success in the music industry and for being an inspiration to millions of Nigerian youths, especially in the South-South part of the country where he is popularly known as the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa.

Dismissed FRSC Stabbed Colleague who have been assisting him Financially

The Police in Oyo State have arrested a former officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, who killed an official of the FRSC in Oyo town.

The suspect, Nurudeen Alin (32), and his accomplice, Mohammed Garba (26), went to the residence of their victim, Yahuza Fakai, at College Road, Amejiogbe area of Oyo town and stabbed him with a knife several times.

The state Commissioner of Police, Samuel Adegbuyi, who paraded the suspects, said investigation revealed that Ali was dismissed from the FRSC for driving licence touting offence, stating also that the victim had on many occasions supported Ali with money after he lost his job.

He said, “The victim and Ali were friends and after Ali was dismissed, he got a lot of financial help from Fakai. On October 14 this year, Ali and an accomplice, Garba, went to Fakai’s house and stabbed him to death. The Atiba police division was mandated to unravel the murder, leading to the arrest of the suspects. The murder weapon, a knife, was recovered from them.”

Ali, who confessed to the crime during an interview, said his late friend had promised to give him some money but delayed in doing so, which was what made him angry and attacked him.

“Fakai was my friend because we worked together at FRSC before I was dismissed. He had been helping me until I killed him. A day before he was killed, he called me and gave me some money. He also said that I should see him again for more money. I went to his house with Garba but when we got there, I needed to receive a call and stepped out, by the time I returned to the house, Garba had stabbed him in the neck. He handed the knife to me and I also stabbed him. We left him for dead. I was later arrested in my house by the police,” said the suspect.

Giving the account of his involvement in the crime, Garba said the deceased had promised to assist Ali but delayed the assistance after learning that he was hugely indebted.

He said, “Our aim was to threaten him with the knife so that he could release the money but after stabbing him in the neck, I realised that the injury was life threatening so I left the scene because I was afraid. Ali stabbed him more leading to his death. I had never met the deceased before that day.

Davido’s manager, Kamal Ajiboye has explained what went down at the show Kaffy accused Davido of turning down dancers at the last minute, saying Kaffy was only making a big deal out of nothing. Speaking with Saturday Beats, Kamal said;

“I am not aware of any problem between Davido and Kaffy. Davido said that he didn’t need dancers for his performance and I don’t see how that is a problem. We saw what she posted online but we chose to ignore it because we are too busy to comment on such. Davido does not have any particular dancer that he works with. During the particular show, while he was about to perform, the organisers wanted to include dancers with his performance and he declined because the stage would not be big enough for him and the dancers to perform. “During a show that he had at Eko Hotel, he had about 30 dancers on stage with him. If he does not have regard for dancers, would he have employed their services? People just like to seek for attention and we would not give it to them. The only thing I can think of is that she is just seeking for attention. I mean they wanted to put dancers on his stage and all Davido said was that he did not want. How is that anyone’s problem? I think you should call Kaffy and ask if she has any problem with Davido.”

Many Feared Dead As Bomb Blasts Rock Maiduguri Today

        


Many people are feared dead following two bomb blast in the early hours today in Maiduguri, Borno State. The first bomb exploded in front of the Bakkasi Internally Displaced People (IDP) Camp along Maiduguri-Damboa road killing at least five people.

The second bomb exploded in front of the NNPC depot also along the same route.

According to Daily Trust, efforts to get to the scene of the second blast were thwarted as security men had cordoned off the area. Ambulances were seen moving out of the area.
