Immediately it happened, I felt light and I started feeling thirsty, just like someone who had been shot and loosing blood. I knew if I had taken any liquid at that time, I would have died,But what came to my mind was the 7-7 water I got from Mecca. I have seen and experience how Alfas make use of the Holy water and how it works. While I was being rushed to the hospital, all I could do was to request that my people try as much as possible to get me the 7-7 water. I took the water and became a bit alive after some days. Some other Islamic rites was also carried out immediately and the Imams, Pastors, and Traditionalists rose up to the occasion. .

It was the third day, that I regained consciousness and felt life within me” he narrated.

Ariana Grande Sued By An Artist Over Her Video For God Is A Woman

Artist Vladimir Kush is suing Ariana Grande and a production company she worked with for copyright infringement over a series of shots in her video for God Is a Woman he says was lifted from one of his paintings.

Kush is asking a court to issue an injunction to take the clip offline, which has racked up more than 197 million YouTube views since its July 13, 2018 debut.

In the video, a silhouette of the Boca Raton, Florida native, 25, is seen dancing where a candle wick would be, with vivid, cloudy skies in the background.

Kush said that around 2000, he produced a pair of paintings titled The Candle and The Candle 2, of which Grande and the production team at Freenjoy, Inc explicitly lifted the concepts to fit into the music video, he claims.

Among the common elements in Kush's art and the outtakes of Grande's clip include the concepts, composition and background.

In a description of the painting on his website, Kush described the concepts applied in the work.

'In the painting a woman holds the torch of the spiritual light dispersing the dark night of ignorance,' he explained. 'Inspired by spiritual passion she turns herself to the invisible forces of cosmos controlling the elements on Earth.

'She prays to save and protect her home and her family, and the fertility of the earth… Generations come and go, but the lamp of life is passed from hand to hand like a baton is being passed from runner to runner.'

Kush told the court that Freenjoy, Inc has a history of plagiarism, pointing to their past work on Kendrick Lamar's 2018 video for All the Stars, his Grammy-nominated track from the Black Panther soundtrack.

"I get direct messages on social media from ladies, but I value my marriage and my home comes first. I am too focused to be distracted.” Woli Agba

Comedian Woli Agba has narrated how sacred he was when he boarded an aeroplane for the first time in his life.

Real name Ayobami Ajewole, Woli Agba said he boarded the aircraft when the Alfa Sule Dance Troupe have him the opportunity to travel from Lagos to Abuja.

Sharing his experience, he said:

“It was really the first opportunity I had to travel out of the country. We went to South Africa. It was also the first time I would enter a plane. In fact, I didn’t even know that one could travel by air from Lagos to Abuja.

“When the plane took off, I was smiling inside me. Suddenly, the pilot announced that the plane was in a sort of trouble. It was not funny. There and then, I told God that He didn’t bring me on the journey to waste my life. I thought I was going to die. Fortunately, nothing happened. The plane didn’t crash. I was so happy and relieved when we eventually arrived in South Africa.”

The comedian also revealed that he once felt his career was no longer relevant until things took a good turn for him.

“People stopped talking about us at a point and I didn’t have anything to fall back on. I felt as if I had used up all my glory and there was nothing left for me. I was preparing to get married at the time. But from nowhere, things started working out for me again,” he said.

Speaking on his relationship with female fans, Woli Agba said he has never had any advance from them as they see him as an elderly person.

“Ladies respect me whenever they see me. They call me Woli Agba and daddy. Even when I attended Olamide’s concert, they came to me and started calling me daddy. Ladies don’t see me as a young guy they can relate to or entice. I get direct messages on social media from ladies, but I value my marriage and my home comes first. I am too focused to be distracted.”

Apple's Revenue & Profits Decline For The First Time In Over A Decade As Tim Cook Blames China

Apple on Tuesday posted a rare decline in revenue and profits for the second quarter - the first time it has done so in more than a decade.

CEO Tim Cook cited steep declines in revenue from China and slowing iPhone sales as the main catalysts behind the surprising profit slump.

Revenue for the quarter ended in December came in at $84.3 billion, which is a 4.5 percent decline from the same quarter last year.

Profits slid to $19.97 billion for the quarter, down from roughly $20 billion in the same quarter last year.

Greater China revenue declined a whopping 26 percent compared to last year, with sales in the region coming in at $13.17 billion.

The results came after Cook warned investors this month that the firm was lowering its revenue expectations for the all-important holiday quarter, which is something it hasn't done since 2002.

Flights Grounded At Manchester Airport As Deep Freeze Hits Britain To Last All Week

Britain faces 'very significant snowfall' this week with temperatures expected to fall to -11C (12F) as the Met Office extended weather warnings today amid school closures and travel chaos that shut a major airport.

Moisture blown in from a storm in France teamed with Arctic winds from the North has led to flurries and sub-zero conditions, with Transport for London activating their cold weather strategy and running de-icing trains overnight.

Manchester Airport was closed this morning as workers desperately tried to clear the runway of snow, with passengers complaining of 'mayhem' as people were stuck on planes and flights redirected to other airports.

A further weather system forecast to arrive tomorrow could break this winter's current record low of -10.8C (12.6F) set on January 18 in Aberdeenshire, and bring up to 4in (10cm) of snow even to parts of southern England.

Yellow weather warnings for snow and ice covered most of the UK today, after the lowest temperature recorded overnight was -6.8C (20F) at Aonach Mor in the Highlands, followed by -6C (21F) at Topcliffe in North Yorkshire.

Snow fell overnight in London, but forecasters said the 'messy' nature of the weather front, which was a mixture of snow, sleet and rain, meant the problems it caused were 'patchy' and not as widespread as feared.

We Will Jail More Corrupt People, Osinbajo Says As He Brings Campaign To Lagos

The Buhari-led administration will jail more corrupt Nigerians, if re-elected, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said.

Mr Osinbajo said this on Sunday during his house-to-house campaign in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State.

Mr Osinbajo, the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who was in the area to canvass for votes, also visited various markets and houses in the area.

Speaking to people in Ifako-Ijaiye, Mr Osinbajo said grand corruption, which plagued the 16 years administration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) contributed to the lack of infrastructure for Nigerians.

Mr Osinbajo said the Buhari-led APC government would focus on jobs for youths, power and providing enough resources to financially empower petty traders and business owners.

“The difference between us and the PDP is that we don’t steal government resources. We use it for the people. We earn less and we spend more on the welfare of people than the previous government.

“Everybody knows Buhari is an honest man. He will not steal public fund. We shall continue to fight corruption so that we can have enough money to provide infrastructure. We have to build on the foundation we have laid.

“The corrupt people will be jailed. That is why the corrupt elements in the opposition are desperate to regain power. We can’t leave government for the thieves.

“You should vote for APC because it is the only party that can do the job. We should not allow PDP to return to power,” he said.

He said, “The government should as a matter of urgency, lift the suspension on the Chief Justice since the Chief Justice as so much to on his own admitted that he did not declare his assets, he should do the needful by calling it quits”.

Falana said after the suspension has been lifted, the Chief Justice should quit the bench because he has already admitted that he failed in his duty to declare his asset as required by the constitution.
