Morgan Freeman Accused Of Sexual Harassment & Inappropriate Conduct By Eight Women
A young production assistant thought she had landed the job of her dreams when, in the summer of 2015, she started work on "Going In Style," a bank heist comedy starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin.
But the job quickly devolved into several months of harassment, she told CNN. She alleges that Freeman subjected her to unwanted touching and comments about her figure and clothing on a near-daily basis. Freeman would rest his hand on her lower back or rub her lower back, she said.
In one incident, she said, Freeman "kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear."
He never successfully lifted her skirt, she said -- he would touch it and try to lift it, she would move away, and then he'd try again. Eventually, she said, "Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn't know what to say."
Freeman's alleged inappropriate behavior was not limited to that one movie set, according to other sources who spoke to CNN. A woman who was a senior member of the production staff of the movie "Now You See Me" in 2012 told CNN that Freeman sexually harassed her and her female assistant on numerous occasions by making comments about their bodies.
"He did comment on our bodies... We knew that if he was coming by ... not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted," she said.
At 80 years old, Freeman is one of Hollywood's biggest stars, with a movie career that spans nearly five decades.
In all, 16 people spoke to CNN about Freeman as part of this investigation, eight of whom said they were victims of what some called harassment and others called inappropriate behavior by Freeman. Eight said they witnessed Freeman's alleged conduct. These 16 people together described a pattern of inappropriate behavior by Freeman on set, while promoting his movies and at his production company Revelations Entertainment.

Toddlers Recreate Meghan Markle & Prince Harry's Wedding In An Adorable Photo Shoot
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding has now been given the mini-me treatment after a pair of tots recreated some of the most iconic moments from their nuptials.
Toddlewood, a series created by New York City-based artist Tricia Messeroux, enlists toddlers to dress up as celebrities from prominent event.
For Tricia's latest shoot, she dressed-up a mini-Meghan and Prince Harry to recreate the royal wedding, complete with a reverend and a cellist.
It was cuteness overload after Access released a sneak peak video of the Toddlewood photo shoot.
Toddlewood found a mini-Meghan Markle and outfitted her in bright white gown that has a similar design to the custom-made Givenchy gown the Duchess of Sussex wore to walk down the aisle.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry's pint-sized doppelganger was the spitting image of the Duke of Sussex in an all-black ensemble with a ginger scruff painted onto his young face.
The adorable pair held hands as they posed in front of an arc of flowers, which is similar to one Harry and Meghan walked under to meet the adoring crowd after their wedding.
'I feel like the Duchess of Sussex,' mini-Meghan adorably told Access.
When asked where she got all her royal knowledge, the tot responded: 'My mom got a book for me about Prince Harry and Meghan.'
The little girl's brown hair was clipped back into a messy bun and she even had a shiny tiara to match the one Meghan wore on Saturday at Windsor Castle.
To prepare for the royal photo shoot, Toddlewood did a casting call to find lookalikes that would fit the parts.
Besides casting Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the group also found toddlers to imitate American Bishop Michael Curry, who gave a sermon at the royal wedding, and cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
However, it is unclear if we will see a tot recreate Queen Elizabeth II, Kate Middleton or Prince William's looks from the wedding.
Toddlewood has yet to release the pictures from the shoot, but from the video it looks to be cuteness overload at the royal level.

Female Journalist Found Stabbed To Death At Home
A female journalist was found dead Thursday at her home in Mexico with stab wounds to the back of the neck, the state attorney general's office said.
Alicia Diaz Gonzalez, 52, was found by her children, who were upstairs at the time and did not hear anything awry, the office said.
The woman "was on the floor, face down, in a pool of blood having suffered blows," a source from the Nuevo Leon state prosecutor's office told AFP on condition of anonymity.
The death was confirmed by El Financiero newspaper, where she had worked since January. Editor Mauricio Mejia called for an "urgent... official response" to the death on social media.
Authorities have not established a motive for the crime. Diaz's colleagues told AFP she reported on local business activity and financial issues, not "sensitive" information such as drug trafficking.
Still, the National Human Rights Commission urged authorities to focus their investigation on Diaz's line of work.
Last week, journalist Juan Carlos Huerta was shot dead as he left his home in a suburb of Villahermosa in southeast Mexico.

Osun Court Sentences 25 Year-Old Man To Death
An Osun High Court sitting in Ikirun, yesterday, sentenced a 25-year-old man, Tajudeen Ganiyu, to death by hanging for killing a four-year-old boy, Tesleem Bakare. Justice Jide Falola, while delivering judgment, said though the convict during the trial, admitted to be guilty of the murder charge, he claimed to be mentally challenged.
Falola, however, said the convict could not give a satisfactory evidence of where he was confirmed or treated for mental problem.
According to him, “the accused did not exhibit any sign of insanity in the box as observed by the court. The convict answered all questions satisfactorily in the box during the proceeding. “It was a pity that the young boy was slaughtered like a ram.
The accused is hereby sentenced as charged and be hanged by the neck until life is out of him.”
The crime
The convict, who was arraigned in October 2017 by the Police for conspiracy and murder, had pleaded guilty to the offences. Mr. Jacob Ayanyemi, the State Counsel, told the court that the convict took the victim from his grandmother, Mrs Raliatu Bakare, in Iragbiji town, with a promise to buy him biscuit.
Ayanyemi said the accused, rather than buy the biscuit for the boy, ran away with him, but was later arrested by some youths in the town. His words: “Upon his arrest, he was taken to the palace of Aragbiji of Iragbiji, where he was handed over to the police. “He confessed to the Police to have killed the boy and led them to the bush in Iragbiji where the remains of the boy were found.” He commended the judge for delivering the judgment without fear. Mrs Esther Napoleon of Legal Aid Council, who represented the convict, had prayed the court to be lenient in the judgment, saying the convict was a first offender.

Tribunal Orders FCMB To Pay N989m Decade Old Debt
The Investments and Securities Tribunal, Abuja, on Wednesday ordered First City Monument Bank Plc (FCMB) to pay N988.5 million to a stock broking firm after a decade long dispute.
Valueline Securities and Investments Ltd, who brought the bank before the tribunal, said the debt was from shares purchase fund allegedly misappropriated in 2008 by the defunct FinBank Plc with which FCMB merged in 2012.
The claimant joined the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as respondents in the suit.
The matter had been handled by the SEC, CBN and the Federal High Court over ten years without success.
The Chairman of the Tribunal, Siaka Idoko-Akoh, while delivering the judgment, said the Tribunal found FCMB liable and ordered the bank to pay the claimant an outstanding debt of N988.5 million.
Other members of the Tribunal that heard the case were: Jude Udunni, Mamman Zargana, Edward Ajayi, Emeka Madubuike and Albert Otesile.
Mr Idoko-Akoh also ordered the bank to pay accrued interest calculated at 18 per cent as earlier directed by SEC.
He also ordered the bank to pay a penalty of N500,000 to the claimant as cost of the legal action and a further 10 per cent interest as judgment debt.
The Tribunal said the mandate for FCMB to liquidate the debt was subsisting and also nullified the decision of SEC and CBN to vary the payment computation formula.
It clarified that the payment of 18 per cent interest was from August 22, 2013 until the date of judgment, and thereafter at 10 per cent post judgment until the final liquidation of the debt

Kenyan Woman Jailed 15 Years For Defiling 16-Year-Old Boy
Judith Wandera, 24, has been imprisoned for 15 years by Kisumu Court after she was found guilty of defiling 16-year-old boy. Wandera was accused of defiling the minor on various dates with witnesses lined up by the prosecution pointing out an accusing finger on the woman.
A prosecutor Nyakundi Mukaya told the court that medical evidence from specimens collected from the duo confirmed that the woman and the schoolboy were having an intimate affair. He noted that the boy had been living with the accused for more than four months. The court heard that as a result of the affair, the minor dropped out of school and moved in with the accused before the boy was rescued by police officers.
“The boy was rescued on July 7, 2017 and the accused was arrested by police officers,” said Mukaya.
After the recue, he said, the boy was taken to a correctional facility before he was released back to his parents. Parents of the boy told the court that their son stopped taking school seriously after he met the woman and they sought the intervention of the police after the boy started living with her.
But in her defense, Wandera said that she did not know that the boy was a minor adding that he was a drug addict by the time they met. “We met at a drinking joint one evening of April 2016 in Kondele where he even offered to buy me drinks. We exchanged phone contacts and started dating,” Wandera added that she could not establish the age of the boy because he was also a boda boda operator and only appeared “young when he came to testify”.
“He had dreadlocks when we met and only appeared young after his dreadlocks were shaved before he was brought to court to testify,” said Wandera in her defence.

New York Parents Sue 30-Year-Old Son Who Refuses To Move Out
The parents of a 30-year-old man have resorted to drastic measures in an effort to get their son to fly the coop: they are suing him.
Court documents say Michael Rotondo does not pay rent or help with chores, and has ignored his parents' offers of money to get him settled.
Despite doling out five eviction letters, Christina and Mark Rotondo say their son still refuses to move out.
Michael is arguing that legally, he was not given enough notice to leave.
Mr and Mrs Rotondo filed their case with the Onondaga County Supreme Court, near Syracuse, New York, on 7 May, after months of unsuccessfully urging their son to leave.
The would-be empty nesters' lawyer, Anthony Adorante, told Syracuse.com the couple did not know how else to get their adult son out of their house.
"We have decided that you must leave this house immediately," reads the first letter, dated 2 February, according to court filings.
When Michael ignored the letter, his parents wrote up a proper eviction notice with the help of their lawyer.
"You are hereby evicted," a 13 February notice signed by Mrs Rotondo reads.
"A legal enforcement procedure will be instituted immediately if you do not leave by 15 March 2018."
The couple then offered their son $1,100 (£819) to move out - along with some sharp commentary about his behaviour.
"There are jobs available even for those with a poor work history like you. Get one - you have to work!" they said.
By 30 March, however, it was becoming clear their son had no intention of leaving.
In April, Mr and Mrs Rotondo went to their local town court to see if they could evict their son.
But they were told that because Michael is family, they would need a Supreme Court justice to officially send him packing.
According to WABC News, Michael has called his parents' lawsuit "retaliatory" and has asked the court to toss out the request.
The Rotondo family will take their case to Supreme Court later this month - some weeks ahead of Michael's 31st birthday.

Cristiano Ronaldo's front room could easily be mistaken for a nursery with all the kids in it.
The football ace welcomed twins Mateo and Eva Maria via a surrogate last June, just five months before his girlfriend Georgina Rodriquez gave birth to their daughter Alana Martina.
And it was a full house down at his place, with the babies strapped into their bouncy chairs waiting for meal time.
"Good morning," Cristiano, 33, captioned the shot which also included his 23-year-old Spanish girlfriend. His eldest son Cristiano Jr was missing from the shot, but lives full time with the striker and his mum Dolores.

"My dear sister married men re demons, they come as a helper but they are not" Lady Send Warning Message To Single Ladies

She wrote; I misplaced my piority when I was 21? I was 17 when I lost my dad was preparing to write my SSCE then, am the 1st born will be 28 by next month. My mum was into petty trading and there was no way she could help continue with my education.
After my SSCE I tried to further more but all effort to no avail. I gained admission into 3 different institutions different year but could not go due to funds. That how I began a wayward life just to help my little brother and my mum survive?? I did this for some years bfor my mum prayers called me back home.
In 2011 I met a guy, he claimed he was a single father. He asked me out and I answered him that how he started carrying my responsibilities, I enrol into another institution in lagos where I had my OND, nd 1yr left for HND dis guy paid my fee and all. Little did I knw he was a married man.
The month I find out he was married I couldn’t let go cuz the fear of who will continue paying my sch fee, who will give us feeding at home, who will do this who will do that. So I continue and took fate of being the second wife cuz he said he wanted to marry me. I felt thank God poverty has finished in my life, but guess what I didn’t know I just started one tin called original poverty when I got pregnant 4 him he was gud at 1st but just after my pregnancy was 5 months he started showin me who he truly his. He left me all to myself, to the extend that I spent all the money I ever saved from him on buying hospital things, scan, etc.
I pass due date with a month and i almost died with the pregnancy but glory to God and my mum she was strong for me. Couldn’t pay bal of hospital bills cuz I was totally out of cash dat I even got arrested by the doctor, couldn’t feed when I left the hospital, in a day me and my mum will share AKAMU of #50 to drink, after a week of getting home no kerosene in the stove, we bath a 1 week Baby with cold water, feeding became worse for us back to square one. That how I became an online begger, I had no shame of begging for things online, from money to feed, to baby clothes, baby shoe, beg for whole lot online. I couldn’t afford to even buy pant for myself. I suffered to de extend that 1k is like 1M to me
I then start job hunt which I got one with a microfinance bank the pay was 38,000 per month. The salary was not enough but I was struggling to survive since half bread they say is better than non. There was a time my son ran out of food, I borrowed a customer’s 9,000 to buy my son’s food, diaper and co pending the time I got paid.
My people do u know I got arrested slept in cell and was also charged to court for 9,000. Have been physically drained by the court issue , it got to a stage I started acting as if I was already running mad. I thank God today that the case is on settlement at the court, that how I also lost the bank job too another hunting started. Got an invite for another interview when I had accident but am healing by the day. And I give God the glory for all he has done and I know good things re in Stock for me from God.
My dear sister married men re demons, they come as a helper but they are not, I face life time trauma and stil facing it and I know I will be out of it by the grace of God one day.

Cyber Hacker Defrauds Car Dealer Of N28m
A hacker, Michael Williams, 28, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly defrauding a car dealer, Abiogun Adewale, of N28m.
He was said to have paid the sum for a Porsche car through a fake electronic transfer.
The suspect, who was arrested in the Lekki area of Lagos, was paraded at the command headquarters, Ikeja, on Monday by the state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi.
Imohimi said the police received a petition against the suspect, who he described as a “professional hacker.”
He said, “My office received a complaint that there is a syndicate that buys exotic cars and configures a computer programme that sends a fake payment alert to the seller.
“The seller, upon receiving this alert, verifies the alert either through ATM or through Internet banking and then releases the car to the syndicate.
“In this case, when the car dealer went to his bank for his statement of account, it was discovered that the alert and transfer of N28m to his account was only a fake electronic transfer; the money did not register in his account.
“The modus operandi of this suspect is very interesting because he seems to have a very good mastery of the cyber environment. He also creates a credit card through software known as cyber-ghost 12. When the credit card matures, it is then funded through a hacked Swiss account. Any transaction anybody is doing through this Swiss account, the suspect manipulates it and wires the fund into his contrived credit card.
“The interesting part of this report is that the hacker has the ability to shut down the CCTV system of any organisation here in Nigeria for a period of 67 minutes. That is a window period during which any crime can be committed.”
Imohimi said the case was of importance to financial institutions, adding that Nigerian banks should employ certified hackers to secure their systems from hackers.
He added that further interrogation of the suspect would continue to get information of crimes he could commit through the Internet.
The former medical doctor was also said to have led detectives to Asaba, Delta State, and Owerri, Imo State, where two Camry cars he bought in a similar fashion, were recovered.
The suspect said he was eased out of the medical profession after he discovered a faster way of conducting Caesarean Section.
He said, “I have worked in three Lagos hospitals. The issue with Nigeria is that when they see that you are better, they look for a way to ease you out. After I was sent out, I secured a visa to Canada, where I acquired hacking expertise.”
He said his mode of operation involved, “creating a credit card or getting old credit cards online and funding them after monitoring transactions of Swiss code accounts of anybody making $1m or above $200m transaction.
He said, “I monitor movie actors and actresses in the US. I monitor a particular actor, who is based in America (US). He transfers money every week. I hacked into his Swiss code account, which involved breaking of 360 codes.
“I divert funds online into a secured credit card which I use to buy any kind of powerful software online and get more knowledge online.”
Williams said he had access to customers’ bank accounts and used their money for spending sprees with his credit cards.
He also said as a hacker, he could do anything online, adding that he bought goods worth not more than N30m with credit cards and made false payments in bits to unsuspecting victims.
The suspect said, “Banks in Nigeria are not like banks abroad.
“In Nigeria, you can sit down and do any kind of transfer. There are no certified hackers in banks here; there is nobody to secure you.”

TMZ broke the story ... Meek agreed to travel to the White House to discuss prison reform. President Trump is hosting a Prison Reform Summit. Participants include members of Congress, various activists and, clearly, people who have become victims of the system.
We're told Jay called Meek Thursday night and made it clear ... meeting with Trump would be problematic for his image and for the cause.
We're told other high-profile African-Americans also called Meek and voiced serious concern.
Meek tells us, "I was originally scheduled to be part of a panel on Prison Reform at the White House to help shed light on the issues within the system. Unfortunately, the focus turned to the President and Myself which concerned me that it might take away from creating a positive result from today’s discussions."
He continues, "As a result, I decided not to attend so that the focus would be solely on fixing our prison system. Most importantIy I remain fully committed to improving our criminal justice system."
