South African rapper, AKA, who seems displeased with the way awards are being handed out lately, has gone off on a rant on Twitter.

AKA who stated that he is at a point in his career where he no longer needs validations in form of awards to prove that he’s great, added that he is not interested in people saying ‘who is great and who is deserving and who isn’t anymore’. 

His tweets reads;

Megacy. Please stop attacking the SA Hip Hop Awards. I didn’t submit. For my own personal reasons I no longer submit for award shows because I no longer believe in the concept of awards. The greatest reward or award is you rocking with me and my music. I wish them all the best ??

I am simply not interested in people telling us who is great and who is deserving and who isn’t anymore. Bob Marley and Tupac never won Grammies. I also don’t look down on people who DO submit or care about awards. It’s just my preference at this point in my career.

Bill Gates Backs China's Toilet Revolution

As one of the world's richest men and most active philanthropists, Bill Gates usually has his hands full. Just not with poop.

So it came as a surprise when the founder of Microsoft brandished a jar of human waste at a forum on the future of the toilet in Beijing on Tuesday.

The stunt was an effort to draw attention to a problem affecting developing countries around the world: not enough toilets.

"In places without sanitation you have got way more than that," Gates said, pointing to the feces inside the clear canister resting on a table.


"And that's what kids when they are out playing, they are being exposed to all the time, and that's why we connect this not just with quality of life, but with disease and death and with malnutrition," he told attendees.

The billionaire has used part of his considerable fortune to provide clean, comfortable sanitation facilities to the nearly half of the world's population that suffers without.

"When you think of things that are basic right up there with health and enough to eat, you think that having a reasonable toilet certainly belongs on that list," Gates said.

Attendant, Supervisor Lead Bandits To Rob Lagos Petrol Station

The supervisor of Skeptar Petrol Station, Daniel Freedom, 20, and a fuel attendant, Mike Charles, 20, have been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly robbing the petrol filling station where they both work in the Igbo-Elerin area of Ojo Local Government, Lagos State.

Also arrested were their accomplices, Obinna Ofoma, 25; Ndukwa Junior, 22; William Okon, 22; and Tony Oluchukwu, 28, for alleged involvement in the robbery.

The state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, while briefing the press on Monday, said operatives of the command were mobilised to the scene, adding that the suspects were arrested at their hideouts.


Imohimi said, “On October 28, 2018, around 9pm, information was received from a credible source that some armed men were sighted at Skepter Petrol Station situated at Igbo-Elerin Bus Stop, Ojo area of Lagos, and were robbing the fuel attendants and their customers.

“On receipt of the information, operatives from the Ilemba Hausa Police Station and FSARS Ikeja jointly mobilised to the scene. Unfortunately, before the team could arrive, the hoodlums, who sensed danger, had disappeared. However, later in the night, the robbers were arrested from where they were hiding and their arms, comprising two toy guns, three knives and one axe, were recovered.

“During interrogation, they gave their names as Obinna Ofoma, 25; Ndukwa Junior, 22; William Okon, 22; Tony Oluchukwu, 28; Charles Mike, 20; and Freedom Daniel, 20. It was revealed that the supervisor of the petrol station, one Daniel Freedom, and his fuel attendant, Mike Charles, were the masterminds of the robbery operation at the filling station.”

Imohimi, who said the suspects had confessed that they specialised in robbing petrol stations around Igando and Ilemba Hausa axis of Lagos State, added that investigation was ongoing with a view to arresting other members of the gang currently at large for prosecution

Idris Elba, has been crowned People’s sexiest man alive 2018. Jimmy Fallon broke the news on “The Tonight Show,” as he revealed the cover to Elba, who appeared via satellite from London.

Newlywed couple killed in helicopter crash while leaving wedding

A newlywed couple in Texas was killed in a helicopter crash while leaving their wedding ceremony.

KSAT reported that Will Byler, his wife, Bailee Ackerman Byler, and their pilot all died. The couple were both seniors at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.

Authorities were called to an aviation monitoring center about a possible downed aircraft in northwest Uvalde at about 12 a.m. Sunday.

Crews responded to the crash near Chalk Bluff Park off Highway 55 to help look for the helicopter, which was found around daybreak.

The helicopter involved is a Bell 206B, according to the National Transportation Safety Board.

Friends and associates have taken to Facebook to pour in their tributes to the late couple.

Today, my heart hurts. I received a phone call this morning that i wouldn’t wish upon anyone. I sat down with Will + Bailee a couple weeks ago over dinner & all they could do was smile & giggle at one another & talk about their upcoming wedding. I remember the first time I ever met Will + Bailee like the back of my hand.
We were running around like a bunch of hooligans after the college rodeo. The night ended with 15 Americans + 4 Canadians in a mini van Uber & about 40 McDoubles from McDonalds. Just two weeks ago we were pulling Will out from the mud as he got everything in sight stuck in this Texas monsoon. // Last night, family + friends gathered around to watch these two become one at their most magical, fairytale wedding.This morning, the family received word that their helicopter they had left the wedding in the night before, had crashed into the mountain side a few miles from the ranch. I am having a hard time comprehending this whole situation, but I have not once asked why.These two spent their last day on this earth celebrating with their most cherished loved ones- I believe it truly was the best day of their lives. I am so saddened by this news, but now Mr. & Mrs. Byler will join our Jesus in heaven and have the most abundant marriage with no troubles, no temptation, no worries.I know for certain God needed these two sweet souls more than we did here on earth. I know for certain they have made him proud, for the work they have done here on earth as well. To see all of the people that loved these two so greatly is a blessing.As a Christian i know that God’s hands are upon them and what better honeymoon could anyone ever imagine than entering those gates and spending their first days as husband and wife at God’s right hand. We don’t have rubber bullets when we are sent on assignments-Military tells Shiites

Spokesman of Defence Headquarters, DHQ, Brigadier General John Agim, who sat for an interview with Osasu Igbinedion on The Osasu Show following the clash between the military and Shiites last week, warned the IMN members and further stated that they don’t have rubber bullets.

According to Brigadier General John Agim, no one takes on the military without suffering casualties. Speaking on the clash which left many dead, he said;

“The clash that you see, in fact three times now, is that the Shi’ites obstruct the military from doing their job. They are a law unto themselves. They do anything,” he said.

Asked why the Shi’ites are asked to obey the law while the FG has refused to obey the court order to release El-Zakzaky, Agim said:

“So they are attacking the military to show their dissatisfaction with the government, then they should be ready for the consequence.
We don’t have rubber bullets when we are sent on assignments. So, if any organisation that is not happy with the government wants to take on the military, then they should be ready for the consequence.
Whatever the problem of the Shi’ites with the FG, let them take it constitutionally. You take on any military anywhere in the world and you will be taken down.”
He said if the Shi’ites were left to protest freely, people ask where the military is, but if the military intervenes, “you people are still blaming the military; why don’t you let these people be? .
“The solution is that Shi’ites must be a religious organisation. Obey the laws of the land. Nobody can take on the military and they will not have casualties.” 

Leicester City Players Storm Thailand For Owner's Funeral

Leicester City players are in Thailand for the funeral of the club's owner, who was killed in a helicopter crash.

Jamie Vardy and club captain Wes Morgan are among the players who attended a prayer ceremony at a Bangkok temple for Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's funeral yesterday.

It began on Saturday with Buddhist bathing rituals, and is being followed by a week of recitation ceremonies.

The Leicester players travelled to Thailand on the 12-hour flight on Saturday after winning 1-0 at Cardiff City in the Premier League, in the first game since his death.


They joined Sunday's Buddhist prayers for Mr Vichai and will do so again today before arriving back in the UK the following day to prepare for their home match against Burnley on Saturday. They were all close to late Vichai.

Nigerian footballer dies of heart attack during match in Turkey

A Nigerian footballer identified as Ekundayo Ebenezer Mawoyeka, reportedly died of a heart attack during match in Turkey yesterday.

The Nigerian footballer and Sarayköyspor striker, collapsed in the 35th minute of his side’s match against Yeşilköyspor at the Servergazi Stadium and was rushed to the Servergazi State Hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Confirming the death of the footballer, Denizli Amateur Sports Clubs Federation President, Feyyaz Ceşen, who wore Mawoyeka’s jersey, to express his deep sadness.

Ekundayo Ebenezer Mawoyeka, spent two years in Turkey, trained with the youth teams of Istanbul giants Galatasaray and Besiktas in 2013 but was not offered a professional contract. He is said to be one of the protegees of influential German coach Hasan Egilmez, who rated him highly and tipped him to be a huge success in Turkey if he’s offered a deal by Kartalspor at the end of trials.

Egilmez, told allnigeriasoccer;

”Ekundayo is a very fast striker, good height and has excellent on and off the ball movement. For his age, his technical skills are exceptional.

”Kartalspor are impressed with his attitude at training and are prepared to offer him a deal if they don’t get relegated because one level down foreigners are not allowed.He is recommended for the Under 20 Team coached by John Obuh.”

Runtown Allegedly Involved In A Fraudulent With An American Woman

Nigerian singer, Runtown and his brother, have been accused of a $124k fraud by an American woman identified as Shawn Rene.

According to the American woman, the money was meant to be paid back after Runtown’s show in Canada however all she’s been getting is stories.

‘I wrote him two checks in two companies name, $32,000 and $107,000, after he got the checks and cashed he started saying stories, later on he started saying they would pay after runtown’s show in Canada, I and my fiancée couldn’t have it because, we never invested on anyone’s music, I even had to come down to Kenya just to be certain my fiancée wasn’t involved, and even arrested the Alex, and after investigations and all we found out it was jack, his brother and wife trying to play a fast one on us, his wife claimed they had the money returned to me, which I also have the record of’.

She went on to say, ‘I and my fiancée has used over $18,000 for both legal fees tickets and hotel bills already, he had to even travel to Nigeria to make a report also. This past months I have been dealing with cancer and chemo and catching flights from Texas to New York regularly just as result of my fiancée trusting his fellow country man so much. I gave this people $107,000 and they only paid $150000 to my fiancée. Above was when jack got the check, and also a 3 way call with him Alex and my fiancée’.

Responding to the allegation against Runtown, the singer’s management alleged that it was a blackmail attempt and the Nigeian security agencies have been notified.

‘Its all lies, We have contacted the Nigerian security agencies, DSS and EFCC who are all on the matter at the moment. Runtown has never and will never defraud anyone’.

 

Chris Brown increase babymama’s child support to $21,000k monthly

                                 

Chris Brown has agreed to increase child support fee from $2,500 to $21,000k a month and also offered to buy his baby mama a new house.

The singer and his estranged baby mother who share daughter Royalty, four, have been battling for months over child support fee, with Guzman demanding her an increase of $250,000 in retroactive child support.

But in a new report by TMZ, Chris has now agreed to increase the child support fee from $2,500 to $21,000k a month, including buying her a house and will also pay her legal fees

Insiders told the outlet that Chris and Nia, who have a famously turbulent relationship, are now on more amicable terms and getting on better than ever.
