A former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George has said members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) who left the PDP will soon return.
George, who picked
his expression of interest to contest the party’s chairmanship at the forthcoming national convention, said “It takes an experienced captain to stabilise a ship hit by a tornado.
“But I am happy that all is not lost. Zoning has gone extremely well. I have paid my dues in this party and I shouldn’t be afraid of anybody.
“Since 1999, I never left the party to anywhere. I met crisis and problems but I have been able to resolve them as and leader.”
“We are lucky we got a bloody nose not a technical knockout; we will rise again. Everybody will have to come on board even those of our friends who were angry and left for the APC they are tenants there”, he added.
