Scarlett Johansson has filed for divorce from her second husband Romain
Dauriac following their recent breakup. The couple revealed in January
they had called time on their romance, and his attorney Harold Mayerson
has said there will be a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter
Rose.
"He would like to move to France with his daughter and Ms.
Johansson does a lot of travelling," he told Page Six, while adding
that the divorce is set to be "an interesting process".
The
website reported that the actress' own attorney Judith Poller served the
documents to Mayerson on Tuesday. The couple married in 2014 following
the birth of their daughter.
Meanwhile, Scarlett has revealed that she’s now
convinced that monogamy is “not natural”after their breakup - and her
thoughts on romance have been "skewered".
“I think the idea of
marriage is very romantic; it’s a beautiful idea, and the practice of it
can be a very beautiful thing,” she told Playboy.
“I don’t think it’s natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think it’s work. It’s a lot of work.”
And she admitted that marriage always changes a relationship.
“Being married is different than not being married, and anybody who tells you that it's the same, is lying,” she said.
