Sia has split from husband Erik Anders Lang after two years of marriage.
“After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” the pair tell PEOPLE in a statement through her rep. “We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends. There will be no further comment.”
The notoriously camera-shy artist and song writer, 40, has kept her relationship with Lang out of the public eye for the most part. It wasn’t until eight months after her wedding that she confirmed her new marital status
Sia has written over 73 songs for different artists including Diamonds by Rihanna and Pretty Hurts by Beyonce.
