Take me back to Dubai!!!
One of our favorite moments was the Dessert Safari trip.
To go on the dessert trip, they have to reduce the air in the tyre to a certain level. The mode of transportation are jeeps and they go in two's. We found out that in incase anything goes wrong in the dessert. The other jeep can assist and inform the authorities for help.
As we started the trip, the driver told us to fasten our sit belts (He went round to be sure we all had our belts on)to enjoy the ride and he put on really loud music so our screaming would drown in the music. Did i mention that we were accomapnied by an indian couple with their really cute children.
By the time he got to the dessert and we started the journey, he started taking some bends and turns. My people, it was crazily good and frightning.I was trying to code myself because of those children before they start wondering why that Aunty was screaming like that. The ride was bumpy and exciting. I prayed at some point when it seemed like the jeep was going upside down. The couple and the hubs were amused. He even has a video.
By the time we got out of the dessert. We got to a stop over shop to take a break. I did Thanksgiving and went for an ice cream break while the driver pumped the tyre back to its normal level.
But guess what? That trip i will never forget. It's certainly one of the many adventures I will try again but not anytime now. Lemme recover fully from the last biko!
Major shout out to @dandptravels for making our trip to Dubia extra special. They are your go to people for holiday, honeymoon package. Ours was beautiful. Thanks to God and you guys did a great job!#ReachThemForYoursFam

ABSUTH Workers Protest Months Of Unpaid Salaries
Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, has been shut over non payment of 8 months arrears of salaries owed workers of the institution.
The Academic Union of Polytechnics, ASUP and its affiliate unions in the state owned institution on Monday, prevented members of the school’s Governing Council from gaining entrance into the school premises, leading to a heavy gridlock on the busy Aba-Owerri road.
Some of the workers bore placards which read; “we are not slaves, we deserved to live, You must pay us our 8months salaries, This is sheer wickedness and injustice, No money, but you have N2, 000, 000 to go to Abuja, Pay us our salaries, No more Council, change management in Abia Poly, Living is better than caskets, Another death has occurred on Saturday.”
A detachment of Police has been deployed to the gate of the institution.
Vanguard gathered that it was the same situation at the Abia State University Teaching Hospital, ABSUTH, Aba, where workers also protested the nonpayment of over 7 months arrears of salary owed them.
Chairman, ASUP, Abia Polytechnic, Aba, Comrade Precious Nwakodo, flanked by leaders of various staff unions in the institution said that they were at the gate of the school to express their grievance over the attitude of the institution’s management who they alleged are owing workers over seven months arrears of arrears.
Nwakodo lamented that about three of their members have died as a result of non-payment of salaries by the school management and the inability of the workers to have access to medical treatment as they could not afford medical bills. He accused the management of the institution of being insensitive to the plight of the workers.

11 Gambian Ambassadors Urge Jammeh To Step Down
Eleven Gambian ambassadors serving in various countries around the world have called on outgoing President Yahya Jammeh to hand power and congratulate his rival Adama Barrow.
The diplomats' move comes in the wake of Mr Jammeh's decision to challenge the outcome of the 1 December presidential election, which he had initially accepted - even congratulating Mr Barrow.
In their joint appeal letter, the diplomats, including the ambassadors to Beijing, London, New York, Moscow and Brussels, say:
We... strongly appeal for you to accept the choice of The Gambian people and facilitate a peaceful transfer of power to the President-Elect, Mr Adama Barrow."
The tone of their appeal is diplomatic rather than hawkish and credits President Jammeh's initial response to the result:
Your statesmanly and televised acceptance of the election results in favour of the coalition candidate on 2nd December, was acclaimed and applauded throughout the world.
The fact that you further congratulated Mr Barrow on his victory and assured him of your support and guidance was testimony to the fact that you care for the progressive development of The Gambia in a peaceful and orderly transition."
Efforts by the regional grouping, Ecowas, to convince Mr Jammeh to step down have so far been unsuccessful.

Man who returned to Nigeria to marry, killed 3 weeks to his wedding
Residents of Osogbo, the Osun State capital are now living in fear following the siege laid to some parts of the town by some gun wielding cultists, who are on a rampage.
The crisis which erupted last week Saturday claimed the life of a South Africa based man, Mr. Bode Ibidun, who returned to the town recently in preparation for his wedding on January 7, 2017.
Sources say the young man was killed by members of a cult group known as ‘Arise Boys’ which is based in Igbona area because one of the members was dating the lady, who he was planning to marry.
Bode, it was learnt, was killed inside the Toyota Camry which he newly bought. He was said to be driving along Sadiat area on Saturday when he was stopped by three members of the cult group who were riding on a motor cycle.
Various sources told Punch that, although Bode was killed by the cultists, he was not a cultist himself but had friends among another cult group known as ‘Onile,’
A source close to Bode's family said the deceased was buried on Sunday at a cemetery in Osogbo.
It was also learnt that while the burial rights were being conducted, members of the cult group that killed him stormed his mother’s house again and wanted to set it ablaze.
But the intervention of police was said to have prevented the hoodlums from carrying out the act.
One of the sources said, “This crisis is a cult war. But Bode, who was killed on Saturday was not a member of any cult group. He just came back from South Africa and his wedding is slated to hold on January 7.
“He was killed by a single bullet. They shot him at a close range when they accosted him. He was sitting at the back of his car behind the driver, but he was the only one killed by the group.”
Workers Shut Down Arik Airlines Operations
The United Labour Congress and the Nigeria Pilots and Engineers union on Tuesday shut the offices of Arik Airlines, due to the inability of the airline to pay its workers for seven months.
The staff of Arik Air staged a protest at the domestic terminal of the Murtala Muhammed airport over the airline’s failure to pay the salary arrears and other anti-labour practices.
You are owing pilots who 'cruise' people in the sky for several months?
The protesters displayed placards containing messages communicating their grievances.
The Acting Chairman of ULC, Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo, said in a telephone interview in Lagos that the union could no longer tolerate the inhuman treatment of Arik’s management to workers.
Korodo said that apart from owing workers for seven months, the management of the airline was not remitting the taxes of workers to relevant bodies.
The unionist said that five executive members of the ULC working in Arik had been sacked.
He said, “We have shut down Arik Airlines operations, due to non-payment of seven months salary and non- remittance of workers’ taxes to relevant agencies.
“The office will remain shut until the end of the year, unless the management reaches a compromise with our union on the anti-labour issues.
“We cannot continue to watch Arik Airlines’ management maltreating our members. Enough is enough.
“It is a pity that many intending passengers are stranded because of our action but we have appealed to the management to look into our demand but to no avail.”
Korodo, who is also the South-West Chairman of NUPENG, said that the union had directed tanker drivers to stop supply of aviation fuel to the airline until it resolved the issues.
NAN reports that he said the action is not limited to Arik Lagos office, describing it as a nationwide clampdown on Arik Airlines.
The National Union of Air Transport Employees, Air Transport Senior Staff Services Association of Nigeria and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers had in a joint statement on Monday ordered its members to commence the strike.

Terrorist Attack Berlin as Truck Crashes into Christmas Market Leaving 12 Dead
A big black truck ran into the crowd in central Berlin at the Christmas market killing at least 12 people and left dozens more injured. The happy and festive scene turned into a horrific one when the truck hauling 25-tonnes of steel invaded the crowd.
The Berlin Police said the crash was intentional and under an investigation as a “presumed terrorist attack”. The driver driving the truck has been apprehended and is being treated as a suspect while another man was found dead in the truck following the accident.
The German officials and the White House are suggesting that the crash may be an act of terror and is being compared to the attack that occurred in Nice, France in July.
The US and UK governments had warned the citizens of potential security threats in Germany prior to the attack on Monday. The US had issued a warning that there was a credible information that indicates terrorist groups plan to attack in Europe.
If confirmed as a terrorist attack, the German leader Chancellor, Angela Merkel will further criticized as she is being bashed for her generous acceptance of refugees. The country has taken over 890,000 asylum seekers in the past year.

Lagos Police Arrested Female Pastor For Selling 64 Babies
A pastor at the Divine Yard Deliverance Ministry in Iyana Iyesi, Ota Ogun State, identified as Peace Udoh, has been arrested by the police for allegedly running a baby factory in the church.
The 47-year-old female pastor was said to have sold 64 babies before she was arrested on Sunday by operatives from the Lagos State Police Command who acted on a tip-off.
Madam Udoh was apprehended with one Angela Akpan and a nurse, Mrs. Bukola Ajala, who is said to be assisting in childbirth at Pastor Udoh’s church.
It was learnt by Punch that the pastor usually referred complicated cases to the nurse, whose clinic – El Shaddai Hospital – is located a few metres away from the church.
It was gathered that Angela’s younger sister, 17-year-old Goodnews Akpan, recently gave birth to a child at the clinic too.
Angela, who was arrested on Saturday in the Sango area, was said to have led police operatives on Sunday to Pastor Udoh’s church and Ajala’s clinic, where they were picked up respectively.
While parading the suspects on Monday at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters in Ikeja, the Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said detectives swooped on the syndicate after receiving intelligence report that Pastor Udoh needed a buyer for Goodnews’ baby.
“The suspects run a baby factory in the Sango Ota area. We are still working to get 64 other children she has sold out,” the CP added.
But the female pastor, who hails from Akwa Ibom State, refuted the allegation, saying she used the church as a maternity home to assist her pregnant church members for a token.
She said, “I have been a pastor for 13 years. I only assisted my church members during childbirth. I take delivery of 13 to 15 babies every year and I have handled over 60 cases so far. I don’t sell the babies.
“Whenever I have a complicated case, I refer the patient to the nurse and we share the money she collects for the service. Angela brought her sister to me in July. She gave birth on November 16 at the nurse’s clinic and she was discharged. I was surprised when the police came to arrest me yesterday (Sunday).”
Ajala, the nurse, said she collected between N15,000 and N17,000 for each child delivery, adding that she didn’t know anything about selling of babies.
The third suspect, Angela, said, “I am from Abak in Akwa Ibom. I took my sister from our village to the pastor when her pregnancy was four months. She was there until she gave birth in November and I paid N17,000. I didn’t intend to sell her child and I have never sold any child before.”
Goodnews, a secondary school dropout, told Punch that she was not aware of the plan to sell her baby. She said she followed Angela to Lagos to avoid being ridiculed in the village.
“I got pregnant in the school but none of my boyfriends was willing to take the responsibility for the pregnancy.
“My mother would not allow me stay with her so I decided to follow my sister to Lagos,” she added.

Popular Pastor crushed to death by Hit-and-Run driver while jogging (Photo)
A church pastor has met his tragic and untimely end after getting crushed by the road while trying to burn off some calories.
Pastor Leonard Baloyi, a popular South Arican pastor, has been killed.
The 37-year-old man was killed after he was crushed while jogging in the morning.
According to Daily Sun SA, the pastor, has been described a jovial man, a good husband and dad who loved his wife and kids.
On 1 December, he took his wife and kids to Westgate Mall for some family fun, and the next day went jogging as usual but it now appears he had been saying goodbye.
The pastor from Meadowlands zone 2, Soweto, South Africa, was allegedly killed by a taxi on the road in broad daylight.
Baloyi was jogging along Elias Motsoaledi Road in Dobsonville, on the way to Main Reef when the incident happened.
His wife, Tshiwela Baloyi (34) said she watched as her husband of 11 years prepared to go for his usual morning run.
She said she didn’t know she was seeing him for the last time.
Tshiwela started to panic when time went by and her husband didn’t come back home.
“I waited at the gate hoping he would come, but he didn’t,” she said.
Tshiwela said they looked everywhere before going to the cops to report him missing.
“Police helped in the search, but Baloyi was nowhere to be found.”
It was only late on that Saturday that they found his body at Diepkloof mortuary.
Captain Kay Makhubela confirmed that a missing person’s file was opened, but was later changed to culpable homicide case.
Baloyi’s memorial service will take place tomorrow, followed by his funeral on Friday.
Court Refuses to Order EFCC to Unseal Fayose’s Properties
A Federal high court in Abuja has refused to order the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to unseal and vacate some properties linked to the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba had on July 20, 2016, granted the EFCC an order of interim forfeiture of the properties for a period of 45 days which lapsed on September 4.
The judge had granted the order of interim forfeiture on the strength of the EFCC’s argument that it was carrying out a criminal investigation into the proceeds used to acquire the properties.
On Monday, Justice Dimgba held that he could not order the EFCC to unseal the properties because of a fresh order made by Justice Okon Abang of the same Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, on November 3, 2016. He ruled:
"In the light of the foregoing, I hold that the prayer on the motion is hinged on this court’s order of July 20, 2016 and affirmed on August 2, 2016, being a consequence of the order which lapsed on September 4, 2016.
“It is my further holding that the extent that the continued sealing and occupation of the said seized properties are hinged on the order of November 3, 2016 by Justice Abang, this court is not seized of the full materials and indeed is unable to comment on the order made by Justice Abang.”
Justice Dimgba also ruled that “the applicant should investigate the circumstances surrounding the ex parte application” with which the EFCC obtained the November 3 order to verify if the anti-graft agency made full disclosure of the history of orders on the said property to Justice Abang.
The judge also held that the governor was entitled to approach Justice Abang’s court with his application for the setting aside of the order, if he has a stronger case.

CHINA, GERMANY AND SOUTH KOREA DID NOT BECOME ECONOMIC GIANTS BY HAVING 2 REDEEMED BRANCHES ON THE SAME STREET, THEY BUILT FACTORIES NOT CHURCH AUDITORIUMS!
The Controversial OAP has written an Open letter to Nigerian and the Multitude of RCCG illustrating how the Chinese developed their economy eventhough 3 years older than Nigeria
See below cut.................
A Chinese lady commented on my post about why Africa is so underdeveloped.
Nigeria has gone to China to start making church noise there! Why not Afghanistan, Syria or North Korea? If China had built churches instead of Factories, would we still want to go there to make 'church' noise? Little wonder why we are where we are today, sitting so deep in recession, with the financial forecast for 2017 looking bleak and blurry!
South Korea got her independence in 1957, only 3years before Nigeria, and is a Buddhist Nation, yet the Hyundai factory is among the top 10 biggest factories in the entire world, despite being constantly under threat of attack from North Korea, they have grown immensely.
Nigeria, on the other hand, according to reports, has the largest Church auditorium in the world, belonging to Redeemed, and located somewhere in Ogun state.
Let's learn from Jacob's story in the bible;
Matthew 22:32 KJV
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Jacob was blessed by default because Abraham was his grandfather, he even went on to steal Esau's blessing from their father Isaac, yet despite all these blessings, while he was still alive, God revealed himself to a pagan pharaoh who worshiped the 'sun god' in a dream.
Despite Jacob's huge blessings, his children and their children went on to become slaves in Egypt. Listen Nigeria if you do not develop your blessings you will become SLAVES to those who do. That is why God's promise to Christians, that we will lend and never borrow, is not manifesting, despite the multitude of Churches, with as many as one on every street, we have become the 'king' of borrowers and are even borrowing from Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim nations.
CHINA, GERMANY AND SOUTH KOREA DID NOT BECOME ECONOMIC GIANTS BY HAVING 2 REDEEMED BRANCHES ON THE SAME STREET, THEY BUILT FACTORIES NOT CHURCH AUDITORIUMS!
Prayer and Church and looking for miracles and blessings would not help us get out of recession, let's build Nigeria and make her great again, then God will crown our efforts with glory, in JESUS name, AMEN!
11 Wedding Guests, Children Die In Accident
About 11 people lost their lives, while five others are in a critical condition after a fully-loaded bus collided with a Dangote trailer at the Akintelu end of the Benin-Sagamu Expressway.
The commercial bus, owned by Efex Motors, was said to be conveying mostly guests of a wedding that held in Benin, the Edo State capital.
The driver of the Dangote vehicle, identified as Idrisu Oseni, was reported to have immediately fled the scene, along with his motor boy.
It was learnt by Punch that among the deceased were three families, each with three members.
Officials of Federal Road Safety Corps, Ondo command, and policemen from the Igbotakun division, were said to have removed the corpses from the road and deposited them in a morgue.
They also removed the wreckage to clear the traffic that the accident generated.
The Ondo State FRSC Sector Commander, Osas Osadebamwen, said the accident was caused by the Dangote trailer driver, who "dangerously overtook the Efex bus".
He said, “The accident happened around 3.30pm on Sunday and involved a Dangote trailer conveying bags of cement and a fully-loaded Efex Motors Toyota Hiace bus. We gathered that most of the occupants of the bus were returning from a wedding ceremony which held at the weekend.
“We discovered that the Dangote trailer driver travelled at top speed. He left his lane and went to another lane. Instead of waiting for the vehicle that was diverting, he was impatient.
“Because he was speeding, he couldn’t control the trailer. While struggling for control, the front part of the trailer detached and slid on the median. The trailer tyres burst into flames at that point. The backside of the trailer went to the other side of the road, where the Efex bus was coming from.
“In the end, 11 people died in the accident, including eight adults and three children. Their remains have been deposited in a morgue, while the injured were taken to the Ore General Hospital for treatment.”
A source, who did not want to be identified, said a celebrity was among the deceased.
“I learnt a very popular man was among those that died. Three families, with two to three members each, also lost their lives,” he said.
An official of the FRSC, who asked not to be named, said, “This is the second time in two days that the Dangote truck drivers would cause an accident on this road. And usually, when the accidents happen, the drivers disappear into the bush.”
The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident, adding that 11 people died on the spot, while five others were in a critical condition.
He said the truck driver drove against the traffic, which led to the accident.

How Pregnant Woman Planned With Husband To Kidnap Ex-Lover For Ransom
For kidnapping a 23-year-old man, Idris Saheed, and demanding N100,000 ransom, a pregnant woman, her husband and their friend are currently in police net in Lagos.
The pregnant woman, Eniola Kareem, 21; her husband, Paul Kareem, 23, and his friend, Ayoola Sodiq, 21, were arrested after the payment of N100,000 ransom into Paul’s account by the victim’s parents.
According to the woman, who claimed to be the brain behind the kidnap, “I called Idris to come to my house after I was told that he was coming to Mowe in Ogun State. I mooted the idea of kidnapping him because I know how rich his parents are. I told my husband about how we would kidnap him and tie him with a rope. I told him that when he comes to the house, I will do anything he wants. I planned the kidnap with my husband and his friend Sodiq and we demanded N100,000 from his parents before we released him.”
On his part, Paul said: “I planned it with my wife. I met her in a club, where I dance and we started dating. The person we kidnapped told my wife that he was coming to the house, thinking she was still single and that was what prompted the kidnap.
“We did not harm him or use any ammunition; it was a docile operation. The boy is gentle and cooperated with us.
“My wife told me that the boy is from a very wealthy home and that his father is a multi-millionaire, but we only requested for N100,000 and we were paid three days later.
“This is the first time we planned kidnapping. We are not kidnappers and we have not done this before.”
Speaking, the third suspect, Ayoola Sodiq, said: “Paul is my friend. I met him at a club in Mowe Ibafo, where he dances. He introduced me to this business and told me how he was planning to kidnap the victim. “His wife called the boy and when he came to the house, they pounced on him and told him to sit on the floor. They then called his parents and informed them of the kidnap, demanding that they pay N100,000 to her husband’s account.
“I was given N30,000, while Paul took N40,000 and gave N30,000 to his wife. Police tracked and arrested me after they had arrested Paul and his pregnant wife.”
