Bribe-seeking police officers allegedly kill man trying to raise money for his mother's burial in Rivers State

Police oficers attached to Rivers State Police Command, have been accused of allegedly shooting a resident of the State identified as Tony a.k.a Sugu in Elele town, Rivers State on Sunday, September 10.

Tony was reportedly preparing for his mother’s burial before he got killed.

A Facebook user wrote;
“The saddest of it all is that Sugu was hustling and preparing for the burial of his late mother before he met his untimely death.”

Frank John, also wrote:

“The tears in my eye’s and  the entire elele youth in ikwerre local government .
The police shot dead a youth called sugu in elele because he refused to give them 100 naira .
The entire elele youths are so pained as they have blocked the road . so sad, so painfull
We have lost u sugu, killed by Nigerian police”

Jean-Claude Van Damme’s son arrested for allegedly holding roommate as hostage at knife point

                          
Hollywood actor, Jean-Claude Van Damme’s 21-year-old son, Nicholas has been arrested for allegedly holding his roommate at knifepoint.
His arrest in Tempe, Arizona in the United States came after the police got a call to check on him because he’d punched the elevator in his building. A trail of blood leading to his apartment was found by the cops who left, after speaking to Nicholas who injured his hand and a room mate However, 20 minutes later, Nicholas’ roommate ran downstairs, claiming he had escaped the apartment where Nicholas was holding him at knifepoint. TMZ reports that he told officers Nicholas was angry that he had opened the door for them. Officers immediately searched the apartment, and say they found the knife and marijuana.
Nicholas was booked for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful imprisonment, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

16-yr-old Onyedikachi Iyaka Arrested for Gun Business in Imo (Photo)

The Imo Police Command yesterday paraded a 16 –year- old teenage boy, Onyedikachi Iyaka, from the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of the state for suspected gun running and possession of weapons and other police kits.

Parading the suspect, the State Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, disclosed that 400 rounds of chained GPMG live ammunition, 1,016 rounds of AK47 live ammunition, one AK 47 empty magazine, one K2 empty magazine and one army camouflage bullet proof vest was recovered from him. .
Other exhibits recovered from him according to the CP were, one police bullet proof vest, one blue police raincoat, one green beret cap and one empty ammunition. .
Ezike who expressed surprise and was visibly shocked by the quantum of exhibits recovered, said that recovered weapons could shoot an helicopter. .
When interviewed, the 16 –year- old suspect acknowledged that he was into the business of selling ammunition untill the police caught him. But he disclosed that the crime business belong to his elder brother whom he identified as Jeff Iyaka, who is now at large. .
The teenager said “ I am not the owner of the business, it belongs to my brother, Jeff Iyaka. I sell each packet of ammunition N7,000."

Prostitute Who Had Threesome With Wayne Rooney Is Questioned By Police Investigating Murder

A former prostitute, who had a threesome with Wayne Rooney, is being questioned by police investigating a house party murder.

Jenny Thompson, 28, was spoken to by officers as part of the inquiry after a scuffle at the party in Bolton led to the death of David Molloy.

The Ex On The Beach star was a guest at the party, held by her best friend Zoe Percival, at the house which is rented from Ms Thompson's parents.

Mr Molloy was arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace, but took ill in a police car and later died in hospital.


A 34-year-old man was arrested at the house on suspicion of murder in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Last night, Ms Thompson was being comforted by her parents at their £500,000 mansion near the scene.

There is no suggestion that she or Ms Percival are being treated as suspects.

One reveller told The Sun: 'It's not quite clear how David died. It's a massive shock for Jenny and she has been very upset.'

The case has also been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

Ms Thompson hit the headlines in 2009 when she was a £1,200-a-night escort, after bedding footballer Rooney when wife Coleen was pregnant.

The romp also included Big Brother winner Helen Wood.

Apple To Unveil Most Expensive iPhone Today

Apple is holding an event at its new 'spaceship' headquarters in California today, where it is expected to unveil its latest iPhones.

There's still a lot of debate about what the new flagship phone will be called - with iPhone 8 , iPhone X , iPhone Edition and iPad Pro all in the running. There are also rumours that Apple could release the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus , alongside its special 10th anniversary model.

The company could also use the event to launch a new version of its smartwatch, the Apple Watch 3 , as well as announce release dates for its HomePod smart speaker and iOS 11 operating system, which will bring a host of new apps and features to iPhones and iPads.

Man Sues Disney For Injury During Shoot

Disney got its wires crossed and cluttered while shooting a TV show in "Baywatch" star Yasmine Bleeth's home ... according to her husband, who claims he got jacked up in a trip and fell.

Paul Cerrito says Disney was using his home to shoot a pilot when the equipment tripped him up. In a lawsuit, Paul says the injury set him back ... as he was already trying to recover from a previous tumble.

He claims he slipped in a puddle of water in a grocery store back in December. Due to that fall he was using a walker when he went down at home. Cerrito says he's suffered permanent disability, and is suing the store as well as Disney.

Cerrito's lawyer says he also suffered a spinal injury. He wants Disney to pay damages and his medical expenses.

A student of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Oluwaseun Mary Olaniyan who was abducted eleven days ago has escaped from the kidnappers’ den.

 Hope had been lost, when other two students of the institution, Oladepo Blessing and Oluwasemilore Mary who were kidnapped earlier were found dead.

 Olaniyan, a history student said she was kidnapped by four men in a vehicle painted in the state taxi colour at about 6.30pm outside the main gate of the institution. She said, “I boarded the taxi cab alongside a lady at the same location.

Two of them were going to Yaba in Ondo city. As soon as I boarded the vehicle, I became unconscious. I later found myself in a building located inside a thick forest.

 We were six in the hands of the captors who fed us only with water. We saw strange men coming in a jeep vehicle to collect something we suspected to be human flesh which was concealed in a cellophane bag. . . My escape from the hands of the kidnappers was divine. It was while they were quarrelling that I took the opportunity to escape alongside others into the bush. . . I trekked inside the forest until I got to Ile-Oluji/Ipetu Ijesa road where I met a lady and asked for direction to Ondo town. The lady told me I was very close to Ile-Oluji. When I got to Igbo Oja, I made efforts to reach my mother on her phone. . . I contacted my mother. My father immediately called me and I informed him that I had reached Itanla junction along Ondo/Akure highway.” The provost of the College, Olukoya Ogen has since referred Adeniyan to the College Health Centre for immediate medical attention.

Sources familiar with the case tell TMZ, lawyers from both sides as well as Rob and Chyna themselves have been hashing out a joint custody arrangement for months. We're told they are not far apart over the division of physical custody -- each is fine giving the other substantial physical custody.
It's significant because the Dept. of Children and Family Services opened a case even before Rob and Chyna split over her alleged drug use. They are told it's still an open case in L.A. County Dependency Court.

Their sources say Rob believes Chyna can handle parental responsibilities. However, the Kardashian women are not as understanding and believe there are serious questions about Chyna's fitness because of the drug allegations.
They are told there's something more problematic ... child support. Their sources say Chyna wants a lot ... way more than Rob thinks she deserves, but it appears there's been some movement toward a compromise.
