South African church where people are baptized using their favorite beer

A South Africa church is currently making rounds online after its unconventional way of baptizing its faithful  with their favorite alcoholic drink instead of water hit the net.
52-year-old Bishop Tsietsi Makiti, who is the founder of the church known as Gabola and the brain behind the idea says that the congregants at the Church have also been given a go-ahead to drink alcohol during church services.
According to online reports, Bishop Makiti’s church has witnessed its membership rocket to over 500 members in just under two months due to the beer baptization,
He says he was motivated by the scriptures narrating how Jesus changed water to wine.
He added;
People who drink and get baptized by beer are happy and peaceful. This means they are living in the shadow of God.The church accommodates people who are not welcome at other churches. Its name ‘Gabola’ is the Tswana word for drinking. There is only one branch at the moment but the Bishop is looking forward to expanding it further.

Atiku’s Son Gets Children’s Temporary Custody

A Lagos State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Tinubu, Lagos Island on Wednesday granted Aminu Atiku, a son of former Vice-President Abubakar Atiku, the interim custody of the two children he had with his estranged wife, Ms. Fatima Bolori.

The presiding chief magistrate, Kikelomo Ayeye, granted Aminu custody of the children, in order to enable the children – Amirah, eight, and, Amir, six –  to complete the ongoing academic session in the school where they were enrolled in Lagos.

The magistrate made the order during Wednesday’s proceedings in a child custody suit involving Aminu and Bolori.

The proceedings, which took place in the magistrate’s chambers, were not open to journalists but a Punch  correspondent learnt that Aminu was given the temporary custody of the children.

A source privy to the proceedings told the Punch correspondent that Aminu informed the magistrate that he had paid both children’s school fees for the entire year.

He persuaded the court to allow the kids live in his Lagos home, until the next hearing of the suit.

The court ruled that both children should be in Aminu’s custody from November 1, 2017 till January 10, 2018.

The chief magistrate, Ayeye, however, ordered Aminu to write a letter to the kids’ school, introducing Bolori as their mother and permitting her unfettered access to Amirah and Amir in their school, at any time of the day.

The court directed Aminu to allow Amirah and Amir to spend weekends, public holidays, including Christmas holidays, with Bolori, whenever she was in Lagos.

The magistrate also ordered Aminu to deposit both children’s passports in their mother’s custody.

The case was adjourned till January 10, 2018.

Man dies 11 Hours after getting shot and being rejected by Two Hospitals (photos)

A report by African Health Development Initiative on Facebook, reveals how one ‘Christopher Ojika aka ‘Scanner’ was shot in the chest and stomach on Saturday 28th October 2017 at about 4pm.

The gentleman was shot as he returned from an ATM where he went to withdraw money to fix his vehicle which was being attended to at a nearby mechanic workshop.

According to their report, Christopher was then rushed to hospitals by a good Samaritan, but was rejected from each hospital till he lost his life at the wee hours of the day he died.
The report also states that Christopher left his wife, who is with child.
Their report says,
This happened in Port Harcourt Metropolis, Port Harcourt is too rough you might say but it might interest you to know that it was not the gunman’s bullet that killed the fine young gentleman who was so full of promise. It was the rot in our Healthcare Delivery System, the Health Worker’s poor attitude to work, total disregard to the Hippocratic/Florence Nightingale’s oaths and our total disregard for human life’.
‘The young man having been shot fell on the floor and was calling for help, everyone took off in a million directions and fortunately a brave Good Samaritan decided to assist the young man who identified himself and asked to be rushed to First Rivers Hospital where he received treatment under his company cover.
Upon arriving the hospital he was not attended to, he even identified some nursing staff at the facility who had attended to him in he last and beckoned on them to help him, his appeal fell on deaf ears as a doctor came out and asked that he be referred.
Those attempting to help the young man decided to rush him down to the Military Hospital Port Harcourt believing that will be the ‘best’ place for gunshot wounds to be attended to. Alas they were wrong as first aid was administered and he was referred to The Teaching Hospital……
At this point I can only say that Mr Christopher was confirmed dead at about 3am, he had remained conscious while waiting to be taken to the theatre and died 11 hours after being shot without being operated on……
Money was not a problem as everything requested for was provided……
Who really killed Mr Christopher “Scanner” Ojika????
Let’s use our tongues to count our teeth and remember that we are all human beings……
“……….I solemnly pledge to dedicate my life to the service of humanity……””……..The health and wellbeing of my patient shall be my first consideration…….”
“………I will maintain the utmost respect for human life…….”
“…….I will practice my profession with conscience and dignity and in accordance with good medical practice……..”
Excerpts from the Hippocratic Oath sworn by Medical Doctors at the time of induction. The Nightingale Pledge recited by Qualified Nurses during the pinning ceremony is similar. Christopher was snatched from his young beautiful wife who is carrying the child they’ve both been longing for.

Anti-Corruption Agency Goes After Locals Selling UNICEF School Bags Donated To IDPs

The Kano Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Agency, on Tuesday recovered hundreds of customized, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) School bags and mosquito nets at the famous Wambai Market in the ancient city of Kano.

Sources said the bags were provided by the international donor agency specifically to assist the children of the internally displaced persons (IDP) in the Boko Haram ravaged Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, but were said to be diverted into the local market in Kano.

Speaking to reporters shortly after the anti-graft operatives raided shops where the bags were displayed for prospective buyers, the Head of Operation of the agency, CSP Suleiman Aliyu Gusau, said the agency has intensified investigation to unravel those behind the diversion of the materials.

According to him “It was based on information that our personnel immediately swung into action by embarking on surveillance into the market where they were able to confiscate some of these diverted humanitarian items.

One of the sellers of such items told this reporter that they mostly receive the supply from someone in Maiduguri, while he purchase the bags for N600 each and in-turn, sell it for N1,200 each.

“I don’t want lack of sex to be a problem in my marriage. Anytime my wife wants to have sex, I would always give it to her" Oritsefemi

Ahead of his November 25 union to Public Relations expert, Nabila Fash, singer, Oritsefemi Ekele, has given reasons why he would not starve his wife-to-be of sex.
In an interview with Premium Times, the ‘Double Wahala’ crooner emphasized on the importance of men sexually satisfying their wives.
He said; “I don’t want lack of sex to be a problem in my marriage. Anytime my wife wants to have sex, I would always give it to her, at any time. Sex should not be the problem. Money could cause problems but I won’t allow sex be the problem”.
He then advised men;
Get close to your wife and try to understand when she needs it. As a wife, you also need to know when your husband needs to have sex. It pains me when I hear that lack of sex is the cause of marital crisis. I would rather hear a woman say that she wants her husband to work harder.”

Talking about his forthcoming wedding, Oritsefemi, who had been celebrating each month of living with his lover, talked about the challenges faced by couples.
He said, “Marriage is something that you have to be very diplomatic about. You have to be very careful and know what you are doing because it has its ups and downs. No marriage is perfect. Some people think that marriage is all about money, but it is not.
“It takes God and the couple to understand each other. Some people talk about cheating in marriage and that is why I sang in my song, ‘Igbeyawo,’ that women should not starve their husband of sex. If you do that, it would bring problems in your home.”

Singer Waconzy Educates Daddy Freeze On Tithe

Singer Waconzy has taken to IG to educate Daddy Freeze on tithe and here's what he said;

@daddyfreeze with due respect as my elder, i laughed so hard after watching you talk about tithes cos everything u said is 10000% RUBBISH !

GEN. 14:19–20 , GEN. 28:20–22 , LEV. 27:30–34, NUM. 18:26, DEUT. 12:5–6

Yes we are in the last days and fake prophets and pastors everywhere (not only in Nigeria, what of ghana, Benin republic , usa and other parts of the world?

But it doesn't change the word of God!

People don't pay their tithe to the pastor, they pay it to God and whatever the pastor does with it is their business. Its not our duty to judge but to do what has instructed through the bible.

How do you expect churches to sponsor crusades, build churches, reach more souls and more if not for tithes & offerings.

Do u think anybody will go to church if their pastor is looking poor ? Real men of God are not blessed with our tithes or offerings, as a matter of fact, some pastors single handedly sponsor their ministries for years before they start getting members.

10% for God is not too much. Your tithe is your financial covenant with God and it works 10000000000% . As a matter of fact, @timayatimaya secret of sucess is tithing .
U can Ask him .

Here in America, if you don't pay your tax, which is about 25% of your earning, you going straight to jail plus they use private jets too (why are u not complaining about them?

Your tithe is your kingdom tax and if you don't pay it, you are going straight to financial jail.

Your tithe is different from your salvation.

Salvation is in the heart and good works, while your tithe is for financial progress/openings.

It shows God(not your pastor) that you put him first and he will not allow evil to touch your flow of financial blessings.

About fake pastors, guys remember that you don't have to worship your pastor because he is mortal like you. The only difference with your pastor and you is that he is more disciplined in keeping God's words therefore there will be signs and wonders when he calls on God.

How will you know fake pastors? You will just know, your spirit will tell you. They can't fake it for too long.

Brothers and sister please pay your tithe to a living church and watch God bless you. ❤ Waconzy
