Jim Iyke Arrested For Slapping A Dana Air Staff After Missing Is Flight


Popular Nigerian actor Jim Iyke arrested by Police at the domestic wing of the Muritala Mohammed Airport in Lagos state on August 27, 2018.
Iyke was allegedly arrested after he was said to have assaulted the staff of one of the airlines domiciled at the airport. The actor assaulted one of the security personnel who attempted to search him after he arrived for a flight. Unknown to the security man, Jim had missed his flight because he arrived late.
Perhaps irritated because he missed his flight, Jim lashed out at the security man slapping him in the process. As a result of the altercation, management of the airline immediately alerted airport police and Iyke was whisked away.

Ghanian Quack Doctor Arrested After Performing Abortion On An 17 Years Old Girl



A 59-year-old man, Kenneth Kwarteng, suspected to be a quack doctor, has been arrested by Ghana police after he performed an abortion on a 17-year-old girl.

The suspect, Kwarteng, who uses various names, including Kwame Kwarteng and K. K. Kwarteng, was arrested by a joint team from the Dental and Medical Council and the Kwabenya Police Station, reports Graphic Online.
The 17-year-old girl, whose identity has been withheld by the police, was said to have been brought to the facility, Obaahemaa Memorial Clinic at New Ashongman Estate last Stop, in Accra, operated by the alleged quack doctor, by her mother for her seven-week-old pregnancy to be terminated.
She has rescued by the Dental and Medical Council and taken to Legon Hospital, where she is receiving medical attention as the abortion performed on her was not completed.
The Deputy Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council, Dr Divine Banyubala, said it took four months of undercover investigation to uncover the illegal operation of the alleged quack doctor.

He said the hospital did not have any medical staff apart from the quack doctor.

The alleged quack doctor also operated from his home, part of which had been converted to a clinic and he has been in operation for years.

Nigerian Man Killed In South Africa Club



News made headlines some days back on the alleged killing of a Nigerian man in South Africa, by suspected Nigerian cultists residing in the country. Photos of the Nigerian man in a club hours before the killing have however surfaced.

The deceased simply identified as Williams a.k.a Willie – was said to have been killed on Saturday, August 25th, by fellow Nigerians following the war going on between Nigerians in the country.
The deceased was killed by suspected cultists/thugs on Saturday in Gezina area of Pretoria, South Africa, hours after going to a club to relax with his friends.

According to reports, about seven Nigerians have lost their lives in South Africa (this year) following similar war caused by drug dealings, cultism and internet fraud otherwise known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’.
