Tyler Perry donates $1 million to Harvey relief efforts, and $250,000 is going to controversial pastor Joel Osteen

Hollywood actor, director and producer, Tyler Perry, has announced that he’s donating $1 million to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Tyler Perry, who disclosed this in a Facebook video, also defended controversial Pastor Joel Osteen who was dragged for not opening up his megachurch sooner to those displaced by the flood, and further disclosed that he’s giving $250,000 of the one million to the Lakewood evangelist.

Nollywood actor and governorship aspirant of Anambra state, Yul Edochie has just won the primary election of his party, Democratic People’s Congress (DPC).

The actor turned politician made the announcement on his instagram page where he gave God the glory for the victory. HE went further to state that come November, himself and his team will be occupying the governor house in Anambra state.
