Jose Mourinho accepts one year jail term for tax evasion in Spain
Jose Mourinho has accepted one year jail term for tax evasion, but the Portuguese will not be sent to prison due to Spanish law concerning first time offenders.
Mourinho who went to the Provincial court on Tuesday will also pay a fine of £1.75million.
He is been sentenced regarding his image rights in 2011 and 2012 when he was the manager of Real Madrid.
He told reporters in November 2017
“I answered, I didn’t contest it, I paid and I signed an official agreement with the state under which everything was definitively closed.
“That’s why I’ve been here five minutes today to say to the judge exactly what I’m telling you, Mourinho said.
Ghanaian singer Becca welcomes baby girl with Nigerian husband
Ghanaian singer, Becca has welcomed a bouncing baby girl with her Nigerian husband, Tobi Sanni. Reports say she delivered the by abroad just six months after she got married.
Becca and Tobi Sanni got married in August last year. Tobi is a Chartered Economist and CEO of State of Mind Entertainment.
Haven welcomed a child, Becca can now boast of a huge addition to the blessings she’s received from God.

Juventus forward Douglas Costa has been involved in a terrible car accident which occurred on Monday on a motorway in Northern Italy as the player was returning to Turin.
Douglas Costa however walked out uninjured after his Jeep Cherokee collided with a Fiat Punto. The driver of the other car had to be rushed to Biella Hosptial for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash has not yet been ascertained but Novara Est traffic police are currently carrying out investigation with details to pop up soon.
Clinton To Visit Nigeria To Meet With Buhari, Atiku Ahead Of Election
A former President of United States of America, Bill Clinton, is expected to visit Nigeria a day before the presidential election, The Punch has learnt.
During the visit, Clinton will meet President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Diplomatic sources said Clinton is expected to return to his country the same day.
Clinton, it was gathered, might arrive in the early hours of February 15 before the two candidates would go to their states to cast their votes in the election.
While President Buhari will vote in his home state of Katsina, Atiku will cast his vote in Adamawa state

South African Man Stab Girlfriend To Daeth
A South African man has been arrested after he stabbed his girlfriend and her friend to death after a heated argument in her home.
The South African students identified as Anda Beja (20) and Zikhona Mayila (18) were stabbed to death last Thursday.
A teacher at Ncuncuzo High School in Cofimvaba, South Africa, said the whole class is deeply affected by the loss. “They were all crying and needed counselling,” said the teacher.
Thethinto Mayila, Zikhona’s father said he was shocked to hear she had died in an apparent argument with her boyfriend. “She was a good child and never gave them any trouble. She loved going to church,” he said
“She was living in a rented property close to the school with friends,” said Ntombifuthi.“She stayed with me all these years and only started living apart last year. She called out the suspect’s name before she died.”
Cluster commander, Brigadier Mirriam Nkombisa, condemned the murders.
Cop spokesman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the girls were allegedly at home when the suspect entered and had an argument with his girlfriend. He stabbed her and she died at the scene.
“One of the girls tried to intervene and was also stabbed. She ran to a nearby house. When the police arrived they found that she was dead,” said Mdleleni.
She said the 27-year-old suspect will appear at the Cofimvaba Magistrates Court today and faces a charge of double murder.

A missing lady found in the mortuary had her underwear partly lowered and two wounds on face, according to preliminary investigations into the mysterious disappearance and death of the Kenyan lady.
According to information from City Mortuary where the body of Mildred Akinyi Odira was discovered on the morning of Monday, February 4, the deceased had two visible wounds on her face
The lower section of her face was crashed and her trouser torn from the top. Her inner wear was partly lowered.
Akinyi went out of radar on the morning of Tuesday, January 29. She was en route to Ruaraka Uhai Neema Hospital from her place of residence in Kariobangi, Kenya, Tuko.co.ke reports.
Before heading to the health facility, Akinyi informed security guards manning the premise where she lived that she was sick
She had been diagnosed with hypertension, ulcers and diabetes. The guards contacted a taxi driver to come and rush her to hospital for examination.
She, however, remained unreached and attempts to trace her at the hospital were futile. According to her sister, Maureen Anyango, she discovered all was not well when Akinyi’s son failed to report to school
It emerged the woman’s body was brought at the morgue by police officers at 6:31am on the same day she went missing.
The family called on investigators to expedite the probe. An autopsy is yet to be conducted to establish cause of injuries observed on Akinyi’s body and what might have led to her death

British TV Host Adesope Olajide has said in an interview with DJ Abass, that without Wizkid paved the way for other successful singers like Davido and Burna Boy.
According to British TV Host Adesope, Wizkid was the first Nigerian artiste to develop a young audience fan base, an era he described as Justin Bieber’s era in Nigeria.
He further added that the Star Boy Records Boss inspired Davido and many others in the music scene today.
Adesope also stated that without Wizkid’s success, there won’t be a Davido, Burna Boy and the rest because at that time, young kids of his age were not allowed to make music and become big stars in Africa
FG to ban tomato paste importation this year
The Federal Government of Nigeria is set to ban tomato paste importation before the end of this year, the Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, has said.
Addressing tomato farmers at Dangote Tomato Processing Firm in Kadawa, Kura Local Government in Kano yesterday, Ogbeh said the ban was aimed at encouraging massive production of tomato by local farmers, Daily Trust reports.
He said the government would invest N250bn in the Bank of Agriculture to help farmers with loan facilities.
Nigeria has relied on European countries, especially Italy for tomato paste importation for years and this move, if implemented, will serve as a boost to the economy of the nation and that of tomato farmers across the country
