CAC Names New Leader As Abiara Retires



The Supreme Council of the Christ Apostolic Church has named Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji as the new General Evangelist of the church. This comes after the retirement of Prophet Samuel Abiara, who recently clocked 75.

Oladeji was an evangelist at CAC Canaanland until his appointment by the Supreme Council, the church’s highest governing body, which comprises of all principal officers, all Assistant General Superintendents and other senior officers.

Country Star Troy Gentry Killed In Helicopter Crash



Troy Gentry, one half of the country music group Montgomery Gentry has died. He was killed in a helicopter crash in New Jersey today.

The helicopter crashed in a field in Medford around 1pm. Troy Gentry is survived by his wife and 2 kids.

Montgomery Gentry's biggest hit is "Something to Be Proud Of" - which topped the country music charts in 2005. They also had hits with "If You Ever Stop Loving Me" and "My Town."

The group was on tour, and they were scheduled to perform at a concert tonight at Flying W Airport and Resort.


It's unclear what caused the crash. Investigators are on the scene. The news was reported on the duo's Twitter account. Troy was 50.

Amir Khan Files For Divorce



Amir Khan has filed for divorce asking to be separated from wife, Faryal Makhdoom.

The move follows an increasingly bitter split four years after they tied the knot, with allegations of cheating on both sides.

In a video message to fans, the boxer questioned claims by his estranged wife – with whom he has daughter Lamaisah, three – that she is pregnant .

Khan, 30, said on Snapchat: “So me and Faryal are not together. I have filed for a divorce. I hear she has just announced she is pregnant.


“She didn’t tell me. I had to read it on social media.

“I’m always going to be there for my kids if we’re not married. I don’t know if it’s true that she is pregnant or not, time will tell, but in the meantime I’m there for Lamaisah.

“If there is another kid then I am going to be there to show my support and be there for Faryal, but we both think it’s not healthy to be together. We are officially not together.”

Police arrest husband of cheating Ghanaian comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger for leaking her sex video


Mr Lawrence Abrokwa, ‘husband’ of actress and comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger is expected to appear in court.

Mr Abrokwa will appear before the Domestic Violence Court for his role in the recording and circulation of a video of alleged infidelity involving the actress.

A police source told Myjoyonline.com the suspect was arrested, detained and later granted bail.

A docket has been prepared and the police are ready to prosecute, the source said.

Mr. Abrokwa is facing two charges of possession and circulation of obscene material and threat of harm.

There are videos circulating on social media showing Afia Schwarzenegger alleged to be involved in an affair.

News broke recently that the actress was caught in bed with another man barely nine months into her marriage. The video is alleged to have been recorded by her husband, Mr Abrokwa.

In the video, Afia Schwarzenegger is seen wearing a headscarf and clad in a white towel trying to shield her private parts from the preying lenses of the camera.

She is heard screaming and wailing while her ‘husband’ quizzes her if ‘that is how she is?’

Shortly after the incident, rumours were rife that the actress’ marriage had hit the rocks.

Reacting to the rumours, the comedienne, born Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, confirmed that she is no longer with Mr Abrokwah.

The mother of three – third child adopted – posted on her Facebook and Instagram pages that she is single and ready to mingle.

“I am single…ready to date your father! Nice breast, nice ass, not for broke men….Massa get a job and take your eyes off my money,” she said.
Afia Schwarzenegger and Mr Abrokwah got married at a private ceremony on Saturday, October 22, 2016, inside a church at Florida Lake in Johannesburg in South Africa.

Country singer, Don Williams dead at 78


Texas native and Country singer, Don Williams is dead. A press release from the singer’s PR team confirms his death “after a short illness,” saying that funeral arrangements are pending. He was 78 years old.

Don Williams, who forged his own musical identity in the 1970s with a unique and low-key style of country that earned him the nickname “The Gentle Giant,” began his music career in the 1960s, had 17 number one country hits, with his biggest hit “I Believe in You” reaching the top of the country charts and #24 on the Hot 100.

Don is survived by his wife of 57 years, and his 2 sons.
