South African singer HHP is dead, aged 38

                                          

South African rapper Jabulani Tsambo, better known by his stage name, Hip Hop Pantsula, HHP is dead. He died at the age of 38.

The news was confirmed on Wednesday afternoon after speculation broke out on social media

The rapper, who had been battling with mental illness for a number of years, died at the age of 38 – but the cause of death has yet to be revealed.

The news was confirmed to the media by HHP’s wife and publicist, Lerato Sengadi

Amidst speculation on social media that the rapper was no more, Sengadi spoke to Tshisa Live and said: “Yes, yes, it’s true. I am with the family at the moment.

Most social media followers first caught wind of the news when rapper AKA tweeted that another notable figure in local music had passed away.

This led to a flurry of questions, with many users desperate to find out who it might be.
Before long, however, the name HHP began to pop up a few more times and many fans were hoping that the speculation would not turn out to be true.

The rapper opened up about his battle with depression in recent times.

Jabba, as he was affectionately known, admitted to having attempted suicide on at least three occasions in his life. He claimed to have tried to kill himself in different ways before deciding to change his outlook on life.

HHP was one of South Africa’s most iconic musicians and is widely hailed as a pioneer of modern hip hop. He was adored by many and his death will certainly be keenly felt.

Waitress receives $10,000 tip from MrBeast, shares all with her co-workers

                     
A North Carolina Waitress at Sup Dogs restaurant in Greenville who received a bumper $10,000 tip from popular YouTuber MrBeast, has shocked many after shared the money among her colleagues and went home with a very little amount.

The Waitress, Alaina Cluster, received the tip on Friday from YouTuber MrBeast after she served him just water.

According to People, her boss, Brett Oliver, assigned her a table of two after her shift started at 4 p.m., so she promptly brought the diners waters and gave the pair a few minutes to look over the menu. When she came back a second time, there were no customers at the table. Instead, the diners had left a note that read, “The waters were great,” and $10,000 in cash.

“I thought someone was playing a joke on me,” Cluster recalled. “I wasn’t that excited, I just said, ‘What? What is this?’ “

After Oliver told her that the money was her tip, she spotted two men with cameras at the restaurant who told her to subscribe to the YouTube channel of MrBeast, adding that he’d been “going around blessing servers’ days.”
Instead of keeping the money all for herself, Cluster, who is a nursing student at East Carolina University, decided to split it with her coworkers. She gave $200 to everyone working during the shift, $100 to servers who weren’t at work at that time, and pocketed the $800 that was left. 

Ayo Fayose granted bail of N50million

Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose granted bail by a judge of the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court, Mojisola Olatoregun.

The judge granted bail to Mr Fayose in the sum of ₦50 million with two sureties who must issue a ₦50 million bond in a reputable bank as well as possess three years tax clearance, Punch reports.

She also directed that the former governor deposit his international passport with the court.

Earlier, Kanu Agabi, Mr Fayose’s lawyer, urged the court to grant bail to his client based on self-recognizance on the ground that he voluntarily submitted himself to the EFCC

But the commission opposed the bail request, saying that on the day Mr Fayose arrived at the EFCC headquarters, he was accompanied by hoodlums who were willing to attack their officials

The commission also argued that they are still tracing other properties acquired by the former governor with the proceeds of the alleged laundered funds.

Mr Fayose is facing an 11-count charge of conspiracy and money laundering amounting to ₦2.2 billion.

The former governor and his company, Spotless Limited, pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

According to the EFCC, Mr Fayose received ₦1.2 billion to fund his 2014 gubernatorial campaign in Ekiti State, a sum they said he ought to have known formed part of proceeds of an unlawful act.

Nicki Minaj sued by Tracy Chapman for copyright infringement

                               
American-Trinidadian rapper, Nicki Minaj has been sued by four-time Grammy winner Tracy Chapman for copyright infringement.

According to popular news website, TMZ, the 54-year-old singer and songwriter alleged that Nicki ‘stole her song’ ‘Baby Can I Hold You.’

The 35 year old singer is said to have allegedly used ‘half of the lyrics and vocal melody’ of the 1988 hit to make her track Sorry.

Nicki made ‘multiple requests to license’ Chapman’s song in June and all were denied, according to the gossip site.

And despite stripping the song off her new album Queen, Sorry was still played on the radio according to the legal filing.

Chapman is asking that the song not be released again and that she also receive damages.

Girlfriend Dies After Swallowing 4 Bags Of Partner's Cocaine To Protect Him

The mother of a popular beautician who died after swallowing her boyfriend's cocaine stash left a courtroom in tears as she slammed the 'coward' in an emotional statement.

Teenager Georgia Cassidy was trying to protect partner Alan Nolan, 22, when police pulled them over in February.

In a panic, she knocked back four wraps of the Class A substance in an attempt to hide the stash.

Officers did not see anything suspicious and the former Royal Navy weapons engineer was allowed to drive away in his Ford Fiesta, reports the Liverpool Echo.


But 19-year-old Georgia started to fit after the bags tore inside her stomach, yet Nolan took an hour to seek medical help, later claiming that he "panicked".

Georgia was left brain damaged and died from cocaine toxicity three days later at Aintree Hospital, in Liverpool.

The heartbroken family told the court that the death of their "beautiful only child" left a "gaping hole in their hearts".

Mum Joanne and dad Karl donated Georgia's organs, which have "already saved lives".

An inquest into the former All Saints Catholic School pupil's tragic passing, on February 14 this year, recorded a verdict of accidental death.

Her ex-boyfriend Nolan was found guilty at Liverpool Crown Court for possession of Class A drugs but walked free from court.

The labourer, who had no previous convictions, was sentenced to 16 months in custody suspended for 18 months with an additional 300 hours community service.

Georgia’s sobbing mum, Joanne Cassidy, read out a heart-rending statement in court, criticising Nolan for his part in the tragedy.

Mrs Cassidy stood in the witness box, with husband Karl by her side who comforted her as she paused to hold back tears.

At one point her voice began to break and Mr Cassidy held his wife's arm and offered to read the remainder of her statement, but she summoned up the courage to carry on.

Nolan wept in the dock as she read out the statement which left the entire courtroom in tears.

Rapper Jon James McMurray Dies After Falling Off Plane During Video Shoot

Rapper Jon James McMurray has died after a wing-walking stunt for his latest music video went horrifically wrong.

The musician plummeted to his death after the plane he was on plunged into a downward spiral that the pilot 'couldn't correct.'

34-year-old McMurray had reportedly been training 'intensively' for months to attempt the daring stunt.

A statement from his management revealed: "His final act included performing an airplane stunt that included rapping wile walking on the wing. He had trained intensively for this stunt, however, as Jon got further out onto the wing it caused the small Cessna to go into a downward spiral that the pilot couldn't correct.


"Jon held onto the wing until it was too late, and by the time he let go, he didn't have time to pull his chute. He impacted and died instantly."

McMurray's family and friends, including his Playboy model wife, have now set up a GoFundMe page in his honour.

The Canadian star married model Kali James two years ago.

Khashoggi’s body parts found in Saudi Consul-General’s garden

                               

Fresh reports indicate that body parts belonging to slain Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, have been found in Saudi Consul-General’s garden

According to reports, the 59-year-old Washington Post columnist had been “cut up” and his face was “disfigured”. New York Post reports that an unstated source told Sky News that Khashoggi’s remains were found in the garden of the Saudi consul general’s home.

This development comes shortly after Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accused Saudi Arabia of plotting Khashoggi’s murder and called on Riyadh to extradite the already identified 18 suspects.

US President Donald Trump also criticised Saudi Arabia’s handling of the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, saying authorities staged the “worst cover-up ever”.

Asked by a reporter in the White House how the Khashoggi killing could have happened, Trump said on Tuesday:

“They had a very bad original concept. It was carried out poorly, and the cover-up was one of the worst in the history of cover-ups.
“There should have never been an execution or a cover-up, because it should have never happened. I would say it was a total fiasco from day one.”

Khashoggi’s death in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2 has caused global outrage.

Khashoggi, a critic of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was a US resident and columnist for The Washington Post.

Again, G-Eazy and Halsey are calling it quits on their relationship just three months after reuniting, as they can’t get past previous issues.

The on-again, off-again couple are breaking up for the second time in just over 3 months.

G-Eazy and Halsey were totally inseparable after getting back together during the rapper’s August tour stop in Columbus, Ohio and their rekindling came only weeks after officially calling it quits for the first time this year.

“They just can’t seem to get past their previous issues,” a source tells Us, who adds that the rapper “was all over other girls publicly at his Halloween party this past weekend.”

Pregnant mother of 3 accidentally gasses herself to death

 A pregnant mother of three accidentally gassed herself to death by sniffing lighter fuel, she had texted her boyfriend “love you always” shortly before her tragic death.

35 year old Kimberley Need, was found dead inside her home in Oldham, Greater Manchester, after a locksmith was called when she failed to answer the door.

As she returned home from the scan, she had sent a text her boyfriend saying “Love you always my sexy man”, which would be the last message she would send him.

An inquest into her death heard she was found to have sniffed gas from a can, having previously done the same to get “a high” as a 12-year-old youth,The UK Sunreports.

Boyfriend Ben Banham told the court he had come home from work to find himself locked out of their home.

Her body was found after a locksmith was called to gain access to the property.

He said:

“She was depressed after her last relationship but she was not depressed at the time of her death and she was in a good place that day.

“I went to work and kissed her goodbye and told her I loved her. I was on the phone to her during my breaks and the general conversation was fine.

“She texted me at 5:30 saying ‘love you always my sexy man’. I just thought everything was going well.”

Kimberley was found slumped on the couch and despite her boyfriend’s efforts to perform CPR was pronounced dead at the scene

The hearing was told no suicide note was found and police found there were no suspicious circumstances.

A pathologist recorded the cause of death as ‘sudden death syndrome’ from sniffing gas.
