Harvey Weinstein’s former assistant sues for having to clean up his semen and used condoms
Harvey Weinstein’s former personal assistant has sued the disgraced Hollywood mogul claiming she was required to clean up after his “sexual encounters,” according to court documents filed Thursday .
Sandeep Rehal is suing Weinstein, his brother Bob, The Weinstein Company and the company’s head of human resources Frank Gil for being “forced to work in a pervasive and severe sexually hostile work environment,” The Hollywood Reporter reports.
Rehal who began working for Weinstein in 2013 when she was 26 years old — quit in February 2015 when she reached “an emotional breaking point,” per the documents.
Weinstein has denied Rehal’s allegations. A spokesperson for the producer told PEOPLE in a statement that “Mr. Weinstein categorically denies these claims and his lawyers will respond in the appropriate legal forum proving they are untrue. The evidence will show these claims for money are in the realm of a science fiction movie.”
The documents state that “much of Ms. Rehal’s work as an employee of TWC involved catering to Harvey Weinstein’s sexual appetites and activities,” which included being involved in both the “preparations” and the “clean up” of Weinstein’s “extremely prolific sexual encounters.”
Rehal claimed those preparations included maintaining a “list of contacts with a special asterisk that identified Harvey Weinstein’s ‘girls,’ ” purchasing women’s lingerie, “managing the stock” of Weinstein’s erectile dysfunction injections, and setting up an apartment close to Weinstein’s office “for him to use with one of his sexual liasons.”
Rehal also claimed that part of her duties included cleaning up “the semen on the couch in Harvey Weinstein’s office,” which Rehal alleged “happened on a regular basis, three or so times a week when Harvey Weinstein was in New York.”
Rehal went on to allege that Weinstein “used sexist and sexual language” to refer to her in the office and that “on an almost weekly basis” she was “required to take dictation of emails from [Weinstein] while he was naked.”
Additionally, she also claimed that “almost every time” she drove with Weinstein in his Lexus SUV, “he made her sit in the back with him and touched her thighs.”
And far from being a secret, Rehal claimed that Weinstein’s “sexual abuse and conduct, and his use of the office, TWC, and the staff to enable it” was “common knowledge.”
The Oscar-winning producer has been accused of sexual misconduct by over 60 women since The New York Times and The New Yorker documented decades of alleged sexual misconduct and sexual assault involving a number of women in detailed articles in October.
A spokesperson for Weinstein previously told PEOPLE in a statement that
“any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein. Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances.”

Seven Police Office & Two Soldier Die In Adamawa
The Brigade Commander, 23rd Armoured Brigade, Yola, Bello Mohammed, said seven policemen and two soldiers lost their lives within the past two months as a result of Numan sectarian crisis involving herdsmen and farmers.
Mr. Mohammed, a brigadier general, made this known Thursday in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, while addressing a town hall meeting of stakeholders on the crisis.
Mr. Mohammed said the military organized the meeting to sound a final warning to those involved that it would henceforth be hard on those who failed to embrace peace and dialogue in resolving differences.
“The crisis that initially started in Numan and environs spread to four LGAs namely; Girei, Demsa and Lamurde, and later to parts of Taraba.
“Sadly, the measures and strategies employed by security agencies have not yielded the desired effect; the stakeholders have regarded our soft handedness measures as weakness and incapable of dealing with the situation.
“Henceforth, we members of the security agencies forum have collectively resolved to tackle this mayhem and unwarranted killings at all cost.
“The first deliberate step towards permanently resolving this issue is this town hall meeting. It is part of soft power approach to internal security situations, it would be followed by hard and smart power approaches. To be forewarned is to be forearmed,” Mr. Mohammed said.
While lamenting that elites, politicians and traditional rulers in the affected areas were not helping matters in addressing the problem, Mr. Mohammed said warring parties were also fond of over-reacting and mostly on baseless and unconfirmed information.
The brigade commander said that as part of measures taken by security agents to tackle the security situation in Numan, resisting an arrest or obstructing security personnel from carrying out their duties would be considered as serious offence.
Other actions that constituted serious offences according to him included unlawful assemblies and movement of persons with arms in affected communities.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that those who spoke at the meeting included representatives of farmers, herdsmen, politicians, traditional and religious leaders.
They all condemned the crisis and resolved to mobilize their people towards peaceful coexistence and the need for dialogue in resolving conflict.
Why We Won’t Release 10 Mack Trucks Seized From Evans- Police
The police have opposed a suit filed by suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, demanding that trucks recovered from him be released.
The police through a counter-affidavit deposed to by a police Inspector, Haruna Idowu, said the trucks had been kept and preserved to be used as exhibits in the ongoing trial of the suspect.
Evans had on Thursday accused officials of the Nigerian Police of converting certain items recovered from him for their personal use.
Olukoya Ogungbeje, lawyer to the suspected kidnapper, in a fresh suit against the police, demanded the release of 25 Mack trucks which he said were seized from Evans.
Mr. Ogungbeje said in the suit that the trucks were seized without a court order, an action he described as a violation of his client’s right
But the police said Evans acquired the 11 trucks with proceeds of crime, stressing that 10 of them were recovered by the police and had been listed as exhibits in the criminal charges filed against the suspected kidnapper.
“The applicant purchased 11 trucks with proceeds of crime. The police recovered 10 in Lagos while they were not able to tow the remaining one from Anambra State to Lagos due to the fact that the applicant’s brother-in-law, Mr. Okwuchukwu Obiechina, and his wife had tampered with the brain box of the truck in a bid to pervert the course of justice.
“The trucks recovered are proceeds of crime which are preserved and kept as exhibits to be tendered in the ongoing criminal prosecution of the application at the High Court of Lagos State.”
Meanwhile, the judge, Hadizat Shagari, has adjourned the matter till April 17, 2018
