That Moment Little Boy Bursts Into Tears After Meeting Duchess Kate In Luxembourg

It's not every day that you get to meet royalty, and this afternoon it was all too much for one little boy who dissolved into tears as he was introduced to the Duchess of Cambridge in Luxembourg.

The shy youngster met Kate as she arrived at a cycling themed festival in Place de Clairefontaine, but quickly hid his head on his mother's shoulder and the Duchess looked on sympathetically.

Kate, 35, looked elegant in a pastel blue coat dress by Emilia Wickstead, which she paired with her trusty nude heels and £3,500 blue topaz and diamond drop earrings in white gold from Kiki McDonough.


She kicked off her visit with a visit to the Musze d'Art Moderne, accompanied by Crown Princess Stephanie, the patron of the museum, who looked striking in a red wrap dress with a ruffle detail at the front.

The Duchess of Cambridge is in the small nation to attend commemorations marking the 150th anniversary of a treaty that confirmed the country's independence and neutrality.

Popular Calabar Comedian Escapes Death

Popular Calabar comedian, Friday Awade, popularly known as Otwetwe master and Last prophet, has survived a ghastly car crash that would have claimed his life.

The comedian who just had a baby boy, was returning from work in company of some of  his friends, when a speeding Honda baby boy, rammed into them, thus making the comedian swerve. This however made his car somersault three times, before landing upside down.

Luckily no life was lost, and they were all rushed to the hospital.

Armed Robbers Raid Lagos Police Station

A 22-year old man, Onyeka Mba has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for his involvement in breaking into the anti-robbery section of a Police Station and stealing money, phones and others valuable belonging to officers.

The incident happened at Olosan police division in Mushin, Lagos. According to police, during the attack, officers including Femi Elebute and Shittu Babatunde lost their money and phones. It was gathered that some gang of robbers arrested were brought into the station in the night and while some officers attached to the station went out on patrol, the robbers ransacked the whole place in search of valuables and escaped.

When the team who were on duty that day returned, they discovered that the office has been burgled with money and phones kept in there were stolen.
Following the attack, PM Express gathered that the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, ordered an immediate investigation into the matter and appointed one Sergeant Jegede Sunday as the IPO. 

It was during the investigation that Mba was arrested and charged to court, while other accomplice were said to be at large.
However, Mba denied the allegation and told the police that he knew nothing about the incident. He was charged to court and he pleaded not guilty. 

The presiding Magistrate, Mr E.O. Ogunkanmi granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum. He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.

This Man Used Fake Bank Alert to Buy Goods Worth N4.5m In Lagos State

Luck has ran out on a notorious robber who specializes in buying goods with fake bank alerts. The 33-year-old man, Babatunde Olaogun, has been arrested by the police after he allegedly sent fake bank alert to a customer after buying 25 laptops worth N4.5 million.

After buying the laptops, Olaogun promised to pay within two weeks but refused to pay.

He, however, sent fake bank alert, otherwise called magic alert, to the seller. 

Police said the suspect was arrested and arraigned sometime last year when he allegedly used the office of Lagos State governor to defraud a car dealer.

Olaogun, who was paraded yesterday at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, owned up to the crime. He said: “When I bought the laptops, I resold them to someone else but the person did not pay me on time.

“When I could not pay on time, I pleaded with the person who supplied me the goods to give me more time. But when the pressure became unbearable for me, I decided to send the fake bank alert to him so as to have peace.

“I copied bank alert already sent to me by my customers and sent to the supplier. I edited the alert on my phone to N2.5 million and sent it to the person who supplied me.

"I also promised that I would pay the balance later.

“Thereafter, I went to his shop to show him the alert which I sent to him so as to give him the assurance that the money was actually sent to him. When I sent the alert to him, I did not entertain any fear.”

Lagos Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni who paraded the man  at the command headquarters, Ikeja said he would go into shops and buy good worth millions and instead of him to pay, he would send fake bank alert to the person that supplied him the goods on credit.

Owoseni, however said, before the suspect was arrested he had gone to a computer shop where he bought 25 laptops and then send fake bank alert to the person who sold the goods to him.

“When the person now went to bank to collect the money, it was there the person would discovered that what they send to him or her is fake bank alert.

"He also generate fake bank Statement to deceived suppliers five million naira and a Toyota Corolla was recovered from him.”

The police boos said, the suspect would be charge to court after completion of the investigations

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry who has since removed ‘Gentry’ (her husband’s name) from her social media accounts have revealed in an exclusive interview with Broadway TV the details of the scandal that have trailed her and her husband for the past few weeks.

Mercy had accused the husband of physical violence that has affected her sight and caused her to bleed internally from the physical abuse allegedly melted down to her on Sunday, April 16, 2017.
When she was asked why she came out to say her husband never touched her, she was quick to refute it.

“I never for once came out to say that my husband did not beat me. The video people were referring to happened in 2013 when there were rumours of such and I did a video recording alongside my husband to debunk the claim. At that time I had to do it to protect his image and my marriage. I had to do a live video at that time”, she said.

About Beating…

“He beats me consistently.” When probed on why she stayed that long after the consistent beating, Mercy revealed that she did because she wanted a home. “I stayed because I loved him and because everytime he beats me, he begs and gets family and friends to beg me. He promised regularly to change but he never did. When my husband gets angry, he gets physical, not only to me but to anyone. He has done that with my house help who reported him to the Police years ago.

“I stayed because of my children and because a lot of people look up to me. I was a role model of some sort and I really wanted to keep it together. I just wanted a home”.

Why she wants to leave now…

“It’s not like I wanted to walk away but I just feel like we need help. I spoke to my husband’s brother about it. I told him I was going to pack out for some time while my husband seeks therapy. I just wanted to feel safe, that is why I moved my things out. This last beating was brutal. I actually thought I was going to die”.

The Nollywood actress revealed that her husband broke her orbits which will necessitate a surgery for her to see properly. “I’m still coughing and sneezing blood even after three weeks”, she reveals how severe the injury inflicted upon her is.
My Husband Was Sleeping With a Girl

Aigbe also revealed that the last incident started few days before when she discovered that her husband was sleeping with a lady. A lady she claimed to be her friend whom she was close to. This was a regular attitude from her husband; a man she claims has slept with a lot of people close to her, even her PAs.

He confronted him and it led to a huge argument which was turning violent before she had to keep quiet.

On the day of the incident, Mercy had informed her husband that she was attending a burial of her colleague. After his hesitance, she explained that it would not be fair on the lady since she had promised to be there and even invited him to come along.

Mercy revealed that it was her refusal to go and pick her husband up while she was still at her designer’s place that brought the fury of the man on her. He was said to have driven there and started to beat her in the presence of everybody.

“Immediately, I opened the door, he kept beating me. I was begging him and asking why he was beating me. He said he would destroy my face such that no make-up would fix it and destroy my career. He was acting like someone who was possessed. I told him “Lanre, mo ma bi mo fun e” (translated as “I have a child for you).

I agree that I am a fool

In the exclusive interview, the Nollywood star said she agrees that she was a fool for staying that long even with all the beating and humiliation. “I believed that a wise woman builds her home. That’s why I stayed that long”, she said.

“If he had shown a bit of remorse, maybe things would have been different. He went on saying that I cheated on him several times. I never cheated. That’s why I told him to come out with proof”, she said.

 'As regards that fact he does other activities like running errands and played the role of a personal assistant (P A)  for "Vj Adams" even down to running errands for Ibrahims' parent and siblings outside his driving duties, on the 27th of April 2017 Ibrahims' sister Aminat who is also an OAP for Eko FM called Martins that she would be needing his service since Ibrahim wasn't in town.'

 'On arriving at Aminats place she asked Martin to spend the night that she would be leaving for her work by 6am, they left the house that morning and after her duties in Eko FM'

Then Ibrahim called to say he was back in town already but in his managers (Fagbuyi Adeniyi) place, Martins dropped of Adams sister rushed home to freshen up caused he was not prepared to sleep in Aminat's house, while he was in the bathroom Ibrahim called several time but he didn't pick because he was in the bathroom after which he quickly rushed to Ibrahim's managers house and the drama began....

 "Where have you been have been calling you, give me my keys" and Martins told him "i have to pick up my stuffs at your place and give you your keys" he then left and took all his stuffs came back and gave Ibrahim his keys so he Ibrahim quickly entered his car and was about driving off, this is someone who has always claimed he has a phobia for driving.

'What could have been a mob action today was averted in Port Harcourt following quick intervention by some residents and Police operatives. Trouble started when a private security guard, attached to a gas plant behind Dominion City Church, Mgbuoba in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area raised alarmed that his manhood was missing after assisting a lady lift her traveling bag at about 6am. The private security guard was said have regained his manhood after concerned residents forced her to reverse her alleged action.'

Two Nigerians Shot Dead In South Africa

Two Nigerians have been shot dead in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Mike Ibitoye, Chairman of the Nigeria Union in South Africa, disclosed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) via telephone from Cape Town.
The deceased were shot by yet-to-be-identified assailants. He said;

“Mr. Ernest Ughakwesili, 42, native of Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, was shot in a night club by gunmen at Strand Area of Cape Town last Sunday.”

“The assailants escaped after the shooting and the victim died before being rushed to the hospital.”

Ibitoye also said the second victim, Chimezie Oranusi, 26, from Oba town in Anambra State, was shot with a friend in a car at Delst area of Cape Town. “The friend is a South African and is still in the hospital receiving treatment. The incidents have been reported to the police and the national secretariat of the union” he said.

The chairman said the motive behind the shootings had not been ascertained, adding that the police had commenced investigation.

He was impeached this morning during the plenary of the Assembly. 22 out of the 29 members of the state assembly signed his impeachment notice. The reason for his impeachment is still sketchy. The lawmakers have elected Sheriff Oborevwori representing Okpe constituency as Igbuya's replacement.

Police seize luxury items from alleged Nigerian fraudsters in Toronto

Toronto police have arrested two Nigerian men, and are looking for a third, after they allegedly broke up a massive GTA fraud ring.
Police allege the trio used identity theft and fraud to fund a lavish lifestyle that included $10,000 crocodile shoes and $150,000 watches.But the flashy clothing was just the tip of the iceberg: they allegedly stole $10 million from Canadians, Canadian institutions, and people living abroad.

Adedayo Ogundana,(Pictured") 45, also known as Oladipupo Ogund, of Toronto,Adekunle Johnson Omitiran, 37, of Toronto.
A warrant has been issued for Duro Akintola, 44, also known as Michie Noah, of Toronto.Emmanuel Salako, 47, of Toronto, also known as Gee Salaq, has been indicted by the United States Postal Inspection Service in Chicago under the name George Salako.

He is wanted in the U.S..
The investigation began last summer. In the probe, police allegedly seized “37 fraudulently-obtained credit cards, hundreds of pieces of presumably stolen mail, and a series of notebooks containing the handwritten identity information of approximately 5,000 GTA residents.” 
Police believe the Omitiran had ties to people with “legitimate” access to identity information. Those people, police allege, sold information to Omitiran. Police are trying to track down those people.
