hey asked to check my phone and I allowed them even though they had no right whatsoever to do so. After minutes of looking through the phone and finding nothing incriminating, they asked me to follow them to their station- Nigeria Man Narrates How He was Mugged By The Nigeria Police

Nigerian Police
A Nigerian artist simply identified as Caezar, bitterly took to Instagram to share the ordeal he allegedly had in the hands of some policemen at Iwo road, Ibadan. According to him, they asked for his phone, he gave them, after some checking, the asked him to follow them to the station without giving him a reason to.
Here’s what he wrote;

‘Our policemen are animals, yes they are! Maybe I will apologize for this statement one day but tonight, I am completely unapologetic. These shameless criminals with ridiculous black uniforms destroyed the little faith I had left in this country.
They stopped me today at Iwo road, Ibadan. They asked to check my phone and I allowed them even though they had no right whatsoever to do so. After minutes of looking through the phone and finding nothing incriminating, they asked me to follow them to their station…
Why?! On what grounds?! Am I under arrest?! If yes, for what?! One of them even removed my face cap and dragged my shirt.
Smh… Those bastards will not live long, somebody say Amen!
Of course I refused to follow them, so there was an hullabaloo at the scene and they refused to return my phone.

It’s very sad that these ANIMALS are too shallow minded to believe that some of us are not fraudsters, that some of us actually work very hard to make the stipends they try to steal from us.
The Nigerian Police Force may have some good people but there are just too many uneducated and unfortunate bastards in the system.
The police is absolutely not your friend!
Please check my bio for my new number. God bless.#naijapolice’

And he posted this few hours later!
‘I woke up this morning to read all the comments on my last post and those sent to my DM… HOLY MOTHER OF JESUS. Are we not tired of the ordeals these illiterates have put us through?! Consider the many innocent people who must have met their ends at the hands of these monsters in ugly uniforms.
It’s the 21st century, not every revolution has to be televised at first, our smartphones can make a little difference and in a country as confused as ours, it’s all we can really hope for. The police stole my smartphone, you still got yours!
History will ask us what we did in the face of oppression, our children will struggle to understand how someone who probably didn’t finish primary school got a gun and a uniform to make our lives hell. Questions that will haunt us forever!
So let’s do whatever we can to ensure that our children may be able to run to a policeman for help and not avoid them for safety. Let’s rid our society of these shameless thugs.
Repost my story or write yours, post it, tag the necessary authorities, tag me so that I can repost. Let’s all champion this cause, be your own hero, save you!
God bless. ’

Notorious Badoo Gang Strikes In Ikorodu, Kills Husband, Wife, One Child [Photos]

The notorious Badoo gang has struck again in Ikorodu. This time it was at Olopomeji, Odogunyan area of Ikorodu. They attacked a family of 5 in the middle of the night with a grinding stone, with the husband, wife, and one of the children dying instantly. The other two children were rushed to the hospital and are said to be in a critical condition.

But wait, is it that nothing can be done to this notorious evil group? Where is OPC when you need them? This is not the first, not the second time, not even the 10th time. Where are security personnel when you need them? Knowing they operate at night, these people should be on ground. We don’t live in a lawless state for crying out loud. These people are just breaking laws upandan and no one is challenging them. Is it until they get to the Island where Government officials/their families live before something is done?. They are lagosians and they have every right to be protected, enough now. Another photo showing sympathizers gathered on the street of the incident.

We Take Care Of Families With This Business - 3 Women Arrested Over Sales Of Cannabis

Three mothers, who were arrested in Badagry, Lagos, for using their houses as hideouts for the sale and smoking of cannabis, have told operatives of Seme Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, that they take care of their respective families with the business.

The arrest of the suspects, identified as Adesola Kolawole, 30; Sade Oyewale, 44, and Kadijat Mojeed, 36, reportedly followed report of the illicit sale of drug by residents, who lamented that their patrons constituted nuisance in the area.

Explaining how they were arrested, the agency’s Seme Commander, Mr. Udotong Essien, said “Adesola Kolawole was caught with 2.750kg of cannabis fermented in alcohol, Sade Oyewale, was caught with 300 grammes of cannabis, while Kadijat Mojeet was found with 1.1kg of dried cannabis.

“We received complaints that these three women were illegally selling and allowing the use of cannabis in their premises. Investigation confirmed the allegation of sales and smoking of cannabis.

“Subsequently they were apprehended and drug exhibits recovered from them. The Command is also on the trail of other suspects, who are believed to be working with the arrested mothers.”

During interrogation, the suspects admitted culpability. One of them, Adesola, a mother of two, said she sold dried weed of cannabis mixed with alcohol commonly called Monkey Tail, adding that she had been on the trade for over a year.

According to the Ekiti State-born suspect, “most customers, young and old, prefer to drink alcohol mixed with hemp to get high. We sell a shut for N50 only and it is my source of livelihood.

“I earn an average of N5,000 daily with which I sustain my family.” On her part, Sade, who was caught with 300 grammes of cannabis, said: “We do not want our house to be used for smoking weed.

“But when customers come to buy, some of them would want to smoke immediately and we cannot stop them. I started selling hemp about a year and half ago and I have four children.” Also, Kadijat, a mother of four, said: “I used the proceeds of cannabis sales to take care of myself and my four children. This is my first arrest since I started selling hemp.” Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Col. Muhammad Abdallah (retd.) expressed disappointment over the action of the mothers, whom he said ought to be role models to their children and members of the society.

Churchill got Tonto Dike Bride Price repaid out of formality & respect- Instagram User

Image result for Tonto Dikeh and hubby
In a new post she made on Instagram, Tonto Dikeh has said despite the fact that her family returned her bride price to estranged husband Olakunle Churchill, she paid it.
According to her, naysayers can believe anything they choose to but those involved know the truth. Tonto wrote on Instagram:
For formality and respect a token has to be returned to them no matter what!!!! The truth may be silent for a while but it sure can’t hide for long.
I asked for a divorce, I was denied for months but God worked it out and I got it. Thanksgiving mood not replying mood bae.

Tonto spilled this after a fan wrote in her defence, slamming Nigerians who insulted Tonto Dikeh for lying that she paid her bride price before her father returned same bride price to Olakunle Churchill.
To all those insulting Tonto because Tonto’s family were seen refunding Tonto’s bride price to Churchill lack common sense, I’m afraid. .
Why would anyone jump to a conclusion that she lied that money used in paying her bride price is hers just because it’s been refunded to Churchill’s family? .
So do you think both Tonto and Churchill were going to tell their families when they were getting married that the money for the bride price was hers and not his? .
Wow! Do you think a father would have given his daughter’s hand in marriage to a man who couldn’t afford the basics like bride price? .
You all should shut up already. Do you know the amount of things women do for themselves but give their men the glory just because we want them to look responsible in the eyes of the public? .

Wow! For me personally, even though some of the issues that came out were very disturbing but trust me I believe 99.9% of everything that Tonto has allegedly said. The remaining 0.01% is because I cannot verify whether she said it all not. I am not taking sides here, I am only applying my common sense. .
If Churchill can deny his father even after the man’s pictures came out and no one needed DNA to verify that the man is his father but he still went ahead to parade himself as OBJ’s son then later made a U-turn that Obj is actually his uncle which is also a lie because he is not related to Obj. .
If he could deny he has another child apart from King Andre, even sworn on the life of the innocent boy that he hasn’t got any child apart from King. Mind you he even said it in his interview with media hob that he has no other child apart from King only for me to confirm that he has an almost 8 year old daughter with Subomi then I am sorry I don’t trust anything he says. Simple.
How can you lie about your parent and you own child? Wow! If a man can lie about his own flesh and blood then sorry but every other lie is more than possible. So you all should shut up and let the lady be. .

This might sound rude but I can’t put it any other way than to tell you all to save the money on your data and use it to acquire some knowledge and common sense #cutiesopinion

Rivers State Not Part Of Biafra, Wike Differentiates

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has stressed that Nigeria must remain an indivisible and united nation, saying the government and people of Rivers will not be part of the agitation to break up the country.
Speaking Tuesday at the Sultan's palace in Sokoto when he led a high-powered delegation of traditional rulers and leaders of thought from Rivers on a Sallah visit, Wike noted that every nation in the world has its peculiar challenges.

The governor affirmed that the onus on the leaders of Nigeria is to find lasting solutions to the various challenges confronting the nation, stressing that there are better ways to solve the agitations and problems facing Nigeria, rather than seeking a break-up.

"Rivers State and its people believe in the oneness and unity of Nigeria and that is our stand. In Sokoto, we have a father in the Sultan. In fact, he is a father to all Nigerians and he is a peace builder in this country and beyond.

"I have also been friends with the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal , since before his emergence as a Speaker of the House of Representatives and this will be sustained despite the fact that we belong to different political parties," he added.

Tambuwal, who accompanied Wike upon the visit to the palace, had earlier said that the visit could not have come at a better time than now.   He expressed the hope that his visit would help to strengthen the bond of unity between the two states.

In his remarks, Sultan Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar described the ongoing agitations in the country as symptoms of the rot in the Nigerian system, adding that although a lot of things have gone wrong in the past, hope is not lost.

"A lot of things were done in the past by some people with impunity and nothing was done. That is why you find a shortage of good governance now weighing us down in the country. However, as it is now, no matter how bad your hand is, you cannot cut it and throw away," he added.

The Sultan called for dialogue to resolve all the misunderstandings and problems in the country, saying that Nigerians should work together, retrace their steps and move forward.

"Our lives are in danger,I am calling on the police authorities to do the needful by re-arresting Emeka and investigating him thoroughly"-Billionaire kidnapper, Evans' victims cry out

Some victims of the notorious kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeje Onwuamadike “Evans”, have expressed fears that their lives may be in danger considering that there are members of his gang and people loyal to him who are yet to be arrested.

Chief Donatus Dunu, one of Evans' victims who escaped from the Igando hideout after plans were made to kill him, condemned the release of his worker, Emeka Egbulugha, who he claimed supplied inside information that led to his kidnap.

Another victim, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, said he was held by the abductors for six months and still lives with the trauma. He added that since his release, he keeps a low profile.
He said: “I am yet to get over the shock of my kidnap. Honestly, I am afraid to talk about it because I believe a lot of his members are still walking free. The police have done well by arresting him but they should round up all his other gang members.
“I was detained for six months until my family paid the last dime demanded. I have been hiding since my release. I know the trauma Evans and his members put me through. Till this day, I get scared when his name is mentioned. It took me two months before I could sign my cheque.
“Now, I heard that criminal is begging for forgiveness and that people are even campaigning for his release. Has he forgotten the damage he did to my family and many others? The police should please ensure his other members walking free are caught. That’s the only way I can feel safe.”
Dunu, the owner of Maydon Pharmaceutical Company, Ilupeju, Lagos, said the release of Emeka and a couple of others has placed his life and those of his family members in danger. He insisted that he saw Emeka at the kidnappers' den in Igando, when he was kept there as a victim for over two months.
He said: “Nobody should have allowed those suspected workers in my company to be granted bail in any guise because I have evidence of the active participation of, particularly, Emeka, my pharmacist. Releasing him has worsened my plight and that of my family.
“Why should police release Emeka, the chief accomplice in my kidnap? I not only heard his voice while in captivity, but saw him there few days after my kidnap. He came asking them where I was kept. When they showed him, he opened the door where they kept me in chains and our eyes met. Though I was blindfolded, I was about eating when I heard his voice and I normally remove the blind. That was how I saw him and I had the greatest shock of my life.
“He was always there with my abductors. His voice is unmistakable to me having stayed with him since 2003. The man in charge of the den, Uche, whom he claimed he does not know, speaks the same dialect with him. He is the person Emeka met each time he visited. There was also another member of the gang who spoke the Abakaliki dialect of Yoruba and I don’t know whether those arrested have confessed about his whereabouts to the police.
“I have a strong feeling that Uche and Emeka are from the same town because they speak the same dialect. Those guarding me were initially two. When the Abakaliki man travelled on Easter Monday, they brought another person to replace him. That one is very sick because he was coughing constantly. I knew that the Abakaliki man travelled because I heard Emeka discussing with Uche, asking whether he had travelled and Uche said, yes.
“That same Easter Monday, I overheard Emeka and Uche saying “We will kill him.  We have no alternative until chairman comes back.”
“Two weeks after, chairman came back and I knew whenever he visited because they shut all the doors and switch on the generator perhaps, to stifle their discussions.  His visit did not last more than 10 minutes and that was the first and only time he came to the den while I was there.  That same night, the Abakaliki man brought noodle for my dinner.
“He told me to eat so that I will have enough energy to face ‘us at the canal.’ They later told me that canal is where they use to ‘bath’ their captives and I concluded that it means where they killed their victims. I was made to understand that the Abakaliki man is the one that would kill me if chairman gives the order.
“That was when I realised the killing they were discussing with Emeka was about to take place.  Earlier, I thought that the killing they were discussing must be probably another person. But after this canal; discussion, I now knew that I was their target.  After that, I overheard Emeka again, about two weeks later, discussing with Uche saying ‘If they want to kill him, they should kill him.  In fact, kill him.’
“Then, their last discussion was on Wednesday before my escape on Friday. I heard Emeka again asking whether they had killed me. They said no, it was going to be Friday night. That was when I concluded that it was all over.”
The Nation reports that when asked if he had any disagreement with Emeka before his kidnap, Dunu said the only thing he remembered was making some adjustments after he suspected Emeka was fleecing him.
He said: “I suspected that he and some of my boys were stealing goods from my warehouse and I made changes, which I suspect did not favour him. I strongly suspect that this must be his motive to connive with those kidnappers.  In fact, before my abduction, we had a meeting with a foreign partner and I remember vividly that during one of my telephone conversations with their chairman whom I suspect is Evans, he asked me who the two ladies in my office were the same day I was kidnapped.
“Emeka came to the office that same day and those ladies were with me.  Why did the chairman ask that question? Who told him that I was with two ladies in my office? These are the unanswered questions police should have asked.
“Secondly, my kidnappers told me that they have a group picture of my staff which we took last January.  We use to meet every January and all the sales representatives including Emeka attended. They also claimed they went to take inventory of the goods in my warehouse. Yes, they did but we are still auditing to know whether goods were missing or not.
“Even, an account opening document was found in Emeka’s official car before he was taken to the anti-kidnapping unit after his arrest.  Emeka was the only visitor that came to the den while I was there. He was not an ordinary friend to those that guarded me.
“I feel so bad that the police allowed the court to set him free thereby endangering my life. I don’t think the police carried out a thorough investigation after the so-called identification parade which was simply a charade. I am calling on the police authorities to do the needful by re-arresting Emeka and investigating him thoroughly.”
The police have explained why Emeka and a couple of other kidnappers were released.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, Dansuki Galandashi, said  Emeka and two others, Kingsley and Tochukwu, were arrested and charged to court on May 17. The suspects, he said, were remanded in prison custody before court granted them bail on June 23.
“Before they were granted bail, Evans was arrested. We did an identification parade and they said they did not know Evans. Evans also claimed not to know any of them. “Since the Inspector-General of Police (IGP’s) creed is to inspire openness, we had no choice than to charge the case to court. The court looked at the evidences and released the suspects. The police did not release them, the court did,” Galandashi said

Couple returns N1.78million mistakenly paid to them by Kogi State Government despite being owed for months

Mrs Husseina Mohammed, who is a civil servant in kogi state has achieved a huge feat alongside her husband, Yakubu after they returned the sum of paid in excess of her March salary back to the state government, Nigerian Tribune reports.
Husseina Mohammed is a level seven accountant in the service of the Kogi State government, attached to the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) in Lokoja, the state capital. Her monthly salary is approximately N34,000.

However, one morning, while shopping, Husseina’s phone beeped, indicating a text message. Upon opening the folder containing the SMS, she saw that her salary account domiciled in Zenith Bank, Lokoja Branchhad been credited with N1, 787, 550.98k. The text message stated that it was her salary for the month of March, 2017.

Shocked, Husseina told Nigerian Tribune that she read the message over and over again. Aside reading the message repeatedly, she took her time to count the figures displayed in the message. After a while, she abandoned the materials she had come to buy and found her way home.

On getting home, she narrated her experience to her husband. After a brief interaction, they decided to refund the money, saying that it was the right thing to do. The decision to refund the money was expected to be a difficult one for the family because of their peculiar situation, but it became the simplest one for them, the couple stated.

Husseina’s husband, an employee of the TSC in Lokoja, was one of those affected by the ongoing screening exercise in the state. He disclosed that For 15 months, he argued that he had not received any salary from government.

Throughout this period the family depended on the salary of the wife that was also not promptly paid for survival. Many believed the money wrongly paid into her account should have been a solution to the problem facing them. But that was not to be, the money was not allowed to stay beyond 24 hours in the account as it was returned to the coffers of the government.

To Mohammed, despite the fact that government owed her husband 15 months’ salary, her upbringing and religious belief would not allow her to illegally enrich the family.

Narrating her story, she said: “The story about what happened is that my husband has not been paid for 15 months. I found N1.78 million belonging to the state government in my account. Despite the fact that the government owes us about 16 months’ salary arrears (my husband and I included), I refunded the money to the state government. I wrote a letter, which I copied the accountant general, the chairman of the TSC and the Director General, Bureau of Information and Grassroots Mobilisation, that I had refunded the money.”

On what first struck her mind when she got the alert, Husseina said, “When I saw the money, what went through my mind was that there were many people out there suffering because they had not been paid and then mistakenly the government paid the money into my account. I immediately knew the money was meant for other people, not me.”
