Notorious pickpockets meet their waterloo in hands of Pupils in Lagos

Pick Pockets
Pupils of Maryland school , orchestrated the arrest of 24-year-old Taoreed Ashimiyu and 34-year-old Kayode Jolade pick pockets ,who were almost successfully pick-pocketing commuters’ mobile phones and purses.
It was gathered that one of the pick pockets who shuttle between Maryland and Mile 12 Market did the picking, while the other kept the loot till the end of the day’s work, as they retire and share the loot as soon as they felt they have made enough money for the day.
However, they ran out of luck as pupils who had converged at the Maryland bus stop, spotted them on operation, and reportedly launched at Ashimiyu in an attempt to lynch him.
One of the suspects, Ashimiyu, who saw the crowd charging at him, attempted to escape to the other side of the road but ran into an oncoming truck, which knocked him off the road only to be rescued by Rapid Response Squad operatives who were monitoring the unfolding scenery.
His accomplice, Jolade, who equally took to his heels on sensing danger, was similarly arrested by onlookers, who heard they were pickpockets. Both suspects explained, what happened, their past operations and how they spent their loots among other things.
