The incident happened at Isheri Oshun Division where Mr. Okeiyi was detained in the cell for fighting in the public with members of their house.
He was charged for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.
According to PM Express, Inspector Adesina Adefoluke was assaulted when she went to open the cell in order to rescue Mr. Okeiyi who was attacked by other suspects inside cell.
When Okeiyi came out, he found relief on Adefoluke’s bre*sts, grabbed it and in the process tore her uniform.
The arraignment turned into a mild drama at Ejigbo Magistrates court when the victim Adefolunke told the court that Mr. Okeiyi was under stress in the police cell and she went to bring him out.
However, when she opened the key to the cell, Okeiyi came out and landed his hands on her breasts for undisclosed reasons and she had to raise alarm.
In response, Okeiyi said he was attacked in the cell and was almost unconscious before his hand landed on her bre*sts and her uniform got torn. His explanation did not stop the police from arraigning him for the alleged offence.
He pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, L.K.J Layeni granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum. He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
