A pregnant woman who had gone to hospital to with the hope of giving birth to a bouncing baby has ended up receiving a pleasant surprise.

The woman identified as Prudence Khumalo was looking forward to giving birth to her bundle of joy, but little did she know that a big shock awaited her in the delivery room.

According to Daily SUN SA, after about an hour in labour, out came the baby – then another ... and another!

Prudence, 37, of Joe Slovo, near Komatipoort in Mpumalanga, South Africa, was shocked when the doctor, after pulling out the first baby, pulled out another bundle. With tears of joy and exhaustion in her eyes, Prudence felt blessed for having given birth to twins.

“But then the doctor told me that it was not over yet,” she said. “He still wanted me to push. He said there was still another baby. I could not believe it. I had been carrying triplets and I did not even know.”

Prudence said she did not attend prenatal care at the clinic as regularly as she should, so she did not know she was carrying triplets. She only started attending when she was eight months pregnant. She was sent to Tonga Hospital for a thorough check-up on Tuesday, and that was when her waters broke.

Her husband Edward Khoza, 37, said they had prepared for one baby, and had already decided on names if it was a boy or girl. But now they have three. The girls are named Minenhle, Langelihle and Amahle.

The blessing, however, comes with its own set of problems.

The couple are both unemployed, and say it is a daily struggle to feed themselves and their other two kids.

Mr Ibu-I felt like committing murder when a Luth doctor asked to use my son's corpse for experiment

Image result wey dey for Mr Ibu

John Okafor, aka Mr. Ibu has recounted the sad take of how his son died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba. He was so bitter that he almost instituted a court action against the management of the hospital and confesses he felt like committing murder.
Recounting what happened in an interview with Punch,he said
“The matter was actually between the Paediatric Department of the hospital and me. It was in 2011. My wife and our two-year-old son had been kidnapped. After I paid the ransom demanded and they were released by the kidnappers, I returned to Lagos from Enugu.“Then on January 18, 2011, my son fell ill.  He was diagnosed with inflammation of the liver. The hospital suggested that he should be scanned. At the same time, I was informed that I could take my son out of the hospital to get the scan done elsewhere. But the same people later declined, saying that everything had to be done in the hospital because he was too weak to be taken outside.
“After a while, I was told that there was no electricity in the hospital. When I asked if there was no standby generator, they said there was no fuel in it. I offered to pay for fuel only to be told that the man that operated the generator was not around. When I left the place and got back later, the man still had not returned. Then I was advised to write an application and to submit to the admin department.”

After writing the application, Okafor found that there was nobody to receive and treat it. While he was waiting, he was told that his son’s condition required blood transfusion. The actor did everything possible to ensure that the ailing boy was given treatment at the hospital, but his efforts were in vain. Finally, the little boy gave up the ghost.

“That was how my son died. Later, one of the doctors came to me and, without even sympathising with me, asked if I could release my boy’s corpse to him so that they could cut it open and use it to teach other medical students. In that moment, I felt like committing murder for the first time in my life.
“When I told my lawyer what happened at the hospital, he was shocked. He said it was actionable. I told him that I was ready to take the hospital management to court and sue it for $100 million in damages because my son’s death was caused by the carelessness of the professionals whose duty was to save his life. But my lawyer advised me to let go”.

See How Nollywood Actors Are Turning To Gigolos To Survive This Recession

Talented and fast-rising Nollywood actor, Davidson Uchenna Dikeocha has decried the impact of the current Nigerian economic downturn on practitioners of the Nigerian movie industry.

In a chat with News Every Hour, while on set of “The X-List”, a new romance/suspense film, the 6ft tall actor dropped a bombshell. Many flashy actors who don't want to be seen as broke with the way the economy is going are now getting desperate.

While some actress are showing off their 'assets' on the social media anyhow to attract lose men, the actors too don't want to be left behind...

Actor Davidson said: “My role in the movie ‘The X-List’, my character in the movie was maxwell, best friend to Fred. Fred is a big time playboy who became haunted by his past life just when he was ready to settle down with the love of his life, and I must tell you that his role is not far from what happens nowadays among the youths; among the so called ‘fine boys’. It’s disturbing how many youths have developed a penchant for being ‘playboys’ and ‘gigolos’. It’s disturbing!

"I tell you, even in Nollywood. It’s on the increase lately especially with the ongoing economy recession; many good looking actors have turned into glorified gigolos sleeping around with rich women and many of these women are married. Imagine that. The excuse many of these fine boys give is that ‘boys must survive na’. But what I’m trying to say is that every lifestyle you indulge in will sooner or later catch up with you. There is a repercussion for everything.

“I am from a strong Christian home. I can't compromise my integrity for money. Importantly, I won’t stop insisting that actors should diversify. Don't make yourself a ‘s*x hawkers’.

Pastor who allegedly got stuck in Ogun shrine finally opens up

A Pastor, Prince Adewale Fagbire, who was alleged to have been struck dumb and motionless when he invaded his community shrine at Ketu–Ayetoro in Yewa North area of Ogun state while pulling it down, has told The Nation that though the town’s traditionalists assaulted him with “charms and other fetish objects,” but he was not “harmed” at all.

Prince Fagbire, who is a Pastor at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Ayetoro, said he actually entered the shrine, evacuated all the fetish items that were kept there and also took a position beside the entrance to it in quietness as instructed by God...

Prince Fagbire, son of the past Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba Taiwo Fagbire, who joined his ancestors in 1981 after his 20year reign in the agrarian community, said his late father and monarch, used to take him to the said shrine occasionally when he was alive.

Narrating his experience to The Nation and a handful of reporters, at the Office of the Chairman, Ogun State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Tunde Akin in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Fagbire said he elected to “remain calm and mute” during the assault and interrogation at the shrine by the traditionalists and some villagers.

Speaking in the presence of over a dozen of Christian leaders from CAN and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria in the State, he said God instructed him to stay calm and not utter a word at the shrine.

The father of two noted that his not talking or not uttering a word on the site of the shrine had nothing to do with his being beaten with “charms and fetish objects” by the traditionalists as what they did had no physical or spiritual effects on him.

According to him, it was also not true as reported in some section of the media that the priests and custodians of the shrine upon the intervention of the Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba Abdulaziz Adelakun, treated or healed him before he could regain his consciousness.

His words: “I was conscious, physically and mentally sound, during and after the incident because God was already with me. I followed the instruction of the LORD to enter the shrine and packed all the items there away. I followed God’s instruction to be quiet as instructed by God.

“God told me to go there (the shrine), create a scene, step aside and watch the film (the unfolding events). They struck me with charms and nothing happened to me. They know the truth, nobody treated me and I spoke when I got to the Palace of the Oba.”

Although the traditionalists demanded N300,000 from a church in the community where Fagbire had once preached and also N200,000 from the pastor’s family to perform sacrifices to appease the gods for his alleged sacrilege but nothing was given to them.

3 Suspected Rapists Arrested For Impregnating 14-Year-Old Girl

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three men for allegedly raping and impregnating a 14-year-old girl in the Agric, Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

It was learnt that the suspects – Kingsley Oke, Henry Osadere and Francis Ekwe – were arrested in the Majidun, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, before they were transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja.

It was gathered that the suspects, who lived in the same area with the parents of the teenager, identified only as Ijeoma, allegedly raped the girl in August 2016, after the mother went for a vigil.

Punch correspondent gathered that Ijeoma, a primary 6 pupil, was later discovered by the mother to be pregnant, and she reported to the police at the Owutu division.

The police said the three men were arrested on September 9, 2016. Speaking with Punch Metro, Ijeoma said one of the suspects threatened to kill her if she disclosed the rape to anyone.

She said, “It was Uncle Kingsley (Oke) who first raped me. On that evening, he called me and said he would send me on an errand. When I went to his room, he immediately locked the door.

“I started begging him, but he forcefully carried me to his bed and raped me. On the second occasion, it was one man called Baba Ijebu that molested me. I had been sent to his house to collect an item.

“While in his house, he raped me. I cried, but he said I would die if I told anyone. The third man was Henry (Osadere). I don’t want to talk about it again.”

Forty-three-year-old Osadere, however, denied raping Ijeoma, saying she was a wayward girl.

He said, “She came to my place and said she had many boyfriends. I asked how a teenager like her had several boyfriends. Anytime she came to my apartment, she would steal some items. That was why I sent her away.

“I was surprised that she said I was one of those who raped her. She said she had a three-month-old pregnancy. I don’t know the other suspects. The girl lied against me. She knows the people who messed around with her. It was because I stopped her from coming to my house that she lied against me.”

Oke, 30, a welder, said, “I have known the girl since 2014. She usually came to my house to play. She is a wayward girl. Everyone knows about her promiscuity. I never raped her.”

Ekwe, 52, said Ijeoma and her mother had begged him in August to borrow them some money, which he did, adding that he did not rape the girl.

The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of investigations.

Graphic Photo: Man Just Released From Prison Batters Wife Over N2000

The police in Lagos State have launched a manhunt for a resident of Azeez Olaosebikan Street, Agege, Babatunde Igbara, after he allegedly battered his wife’s eyes.

The man reportedly rained punches on the 38-year-old woman, Gbemisola Igbara, in the presence of their four children until her eyes became swollen.

Punch Metro learnt that Babatunde had approached the victim on Monday morning, two days after he was released on bail from the Kirikiri prison, demanding if she took the N2,000 he kept in the room.

He was said to have accused her of stealing the money and resorted to violence when she refuted the allegation.

A Punch correspondent gathered that it took the intervention of the couple’s neighbours to restore order to the household while the incident was reported at the Abattoir Police Division.

Gbemisola told Punch Metro on Thursday that the 12-year-old marriage had been fraught with quarrels, adding that she decided to endure the assaults because of her children.

She said, “I was very weak that morning because of the stress I passed through to secure his bail from the prison over a land matter. He woke me up and asked if I took N2,000 from his clothes. I said no. When he continued to accuse me, I asked him why he thought I would steal his money when I spent over N20,000 and borrowed money from friends to facilitate his release.

“I told him to stop disturbing me. He then started punching me in the face and my eyes became swollen. My children begged him, but he refused. It was our neighbours who rescued me from him. I am fed up; but I don’t want to pack out because of my children,” she said.

Gbemisola explained that a similar incident happened about a year ago and she reported to the police at the Ile Epo division.

She said her husband’s mother prevailed on her to withdraw that case from the station.

“I can no longer bear the beating. He beats me to the point that I won’t be able to open my shop for days. I took a loan of N200,000 to start the business, but it has been difficult for me to repay it because of these troubles. I have reported to the police at the Abattoir division and they promised to get him arrested,” she added.

However, Babatunde, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone in Yoruba, denied assaulting his wife, saying she slipped during the altercation and got injured.

“I didn’t beat her. It was a lie. It was true that we had a misunderstanding that day but I never used my hands on her. She fell and hit her face on an object. I need to see you so that I can explain better. Our families have been trying to resolve it,” he said.

But some neighbours of the couple, who spoke with our correspondent, said they had advised Gbemisola to quit the relationship due to the violence.

One of them, Akeem Alabi, said, “Many people on our street know he has turned the woman to a punching bag. I decided to take her picture and post it on the internet after he beat her on Monday. I want rights activists and security agencies to come to her aid and ensure justice is served.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, had yet to reply to a text message sent to her phone on the incident as of press time.

Akeem Balogun (Olasco Films) is owing me and threatening my Life, Actress Yewande Adekoya cries out

                                  2-23

Good day Nigerians. My name is Yewande Adekoya-Abiodun. I am a happily married movie producer, screenwriter and actress. I have been practising since 2002 and i am presently a bonafide member of Tampan.

I want to beg Nigerians all over the world to please help me tell Akeem Olatunji Balogun (Olasco films) to leave my life alone. If anything bad happens to me, Nigerians, please hold Akeem Olatunji Balogun responsible.  He has marketed my movies for about six years now and i have nothing to show for it financially.
I do not even have a car of my own. He sold igbodudu 1&2, omo elemosho1&2, kudi klepto1&2, Emere, Irawo meji and Kurukuru1,2,3. This man is presently owing me the sum of 2million naira and he has refused to pay because he feels no one can challenge him. He has been owing me since 2014. When he owes you, you dare not ask for your money, if you do, he will start war just like the one he has just started. He is also not the type that signs a contract due to his dubious character. He prefers verbal agreements.

Image result for Hakeem Balogun (Olasco Films)
He is very influential in the yoruba movie market, so it is almost a waste of time to report him to anyone there. I know this because i had earlier reported him to several marketers who have good relationship with him, still no result. I called the president of the yoruba marketers association, he didn't pick my calls. I was eventually able to speak with his assistant who sympathized with me and then told me that little or nothing could be done about the matter. Olasco has humiliated and oppressed me for too long, and now, i feel it's time to speak up. The last business deal i had with him that really pissed me off was Kurukuru, a three part  movie i wrote and produced while i was 8months pregnant in 2015.

He released kurukuru online and on DVD in nov 2015, and then claimed we didn't make any profit from the 3 releases of the movie despite the huge success record the movie had. I decided to keep mute about everything since last year. I decided to keep mute about everything since last year, because i do not like to fight anyone or make noise over anything whatsoever.

He sent me an embarrassing sum of N300, 000 which he believes should serve as my payment for Emere, Irawo meji and Kurukuru part1,2 and 3. I quietly moved on with my life and faced my work squarely,  but Mr Akeem Balogun will not let me be. He keeps oppressing and terrorising anyone i choose to do business with. He even went as far as influencing movie marketers and some movie producers to stop casting me for movie roles. Why? What exactly did i do to you? What exactly do you want from me?

Mr Akeem Olatunji Balogun please leave me alone, i refuse to be enslaved by you, like you enslave some others. You don't pay them and you also won't let them do business with other people. Maybe it's because i refused to date you even after all these years, that is why you are strongly determined to destroy me. I serve a living God Mr Akeem and the God i serve will never allow darkness overcome light. Olasco films has refused to pay me my royalty for the three movies: Emere, Irawo meji and Kurukuru part1, 2, 3 and i have not yet taken him to court for that,  and he is here, strongly advocating against me doing business with other marketers and film distributors of my choice. I know you are tough but my God is tougher than you. Don't try HIM. I still have the bounced cheque of 1million naira  that you gave me in 2011. May my God reward you accordingly. My beautiful fans and fellow Nigerians all over the world, pls help me tell this man to leave me alone oooooooooo if he does not want the wrath of God to descend on his entire household.

Lagos gunmen kill man, two sons, injure wife, daughters

There was a bloodbath on Thursday in the Ipakodo, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, after some gunmen invaded a residence and shot dead a man and his two sons.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the attackers, who were suspected to be sent, after killing the man, Celestine Nwokoye, and his sons, also shot his wife and his two daughters, leaving them for dead.
Our correspondent gathered that the incident occurred on Thursday on Agbose Street in the Ebute, Ipakodo area around 5am.
It was learnt that policemen from the Ipakodo division removed the victims’ corpses.
The wife and the injured daughters were said to have been rushed to the Ikorodu General Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the two deceased sons were three years old and two months old.
A resident of Ebute, who visited the scene, but did not want his name in print, said the attackers were suspected to be sent.
He said, “The man’s house is located on Agbose Street, off Oluodo Junction. He worked at a taxi park in the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja. The killers came on Thursday morning. They shot him and all the members of his family. He and two male children died instantly, while they left his wife and the two daughters with bullet injuries.
“The attackers were not robbers; they went to only the man’s apartment. I was told that they did not take away any property. That is why everyone suspects that the killers were sent. They shot all members of his family presumably, so that no one would be able to report to the police.
“But policemen from the Ipakodo division later came to our area to take photographs and remove the bodies. The policemen were all over our area.”
A landlord, identified only as Abimbola, told PUNCH Metro that the attackers could also be suspected rapists, known popularly in the area as Badoo, who had been terrorising and attacking residents.
“A week ago, a man and his child were attacked and stabbed to death in the Oke-Awori community in the Ibeshe area. Armed rapists, known as Badoo, attacked the man and his child. They stabbed them to death. So, I suspect the attackers of Nwokoye could be Badoo. The police have a lot of work to do in our area,” he added.
A police source said Nwokoye and his family members were attacked on the premises of a church in the area.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the deaths.
She added that the command had got some leads on the incident, and investigation was ongoing.
She said, “There was a report that the man and all members of his family were found in a pool of blood. He and his two male children were confirmed dead.
“His wife and two daughters were also seriously injured and they have been taken to a hospital for treatment.
“The command is working assiduously to unravel the occurrence. We have some leads which we are working on, and we are optimistic of breaking through.”

See Why A Woman kidnapped her sister’s daughter over N30,000

• Believe • Aigbomiam Photos: Samson Folarin

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a Ghanaian, Enyolam Believe, for allegedly kidnapping her niece in the Ikotun area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Believe, who had been living in Lagos for the past 17 years, conspired with her friend, Agatha Aigbomiam, to commit the crime last Tuesday.
The eight-year-old victim was alleged to have been kidnapped on her way to school and taken to Ogun State by Aigbomiam.
The victim was said to have raised the alarm which drew the attention of residents, leading to the arrest of both suspects.
A police source said 43-year-old Believe and the victim’s mother had searched for the child, including reporting a case of missing person at a police station.
He said, “The suspect and the girl’s mother are sisters. Believe, however, colluded with her friend, Aigbomiam, to abduct the girl so that she could make money from the mother.
“Their plan was that the friend would kidnap the child and hide her somewhere in Ogun State, while she would negotiate the ransom with the mother on the phone.
“When the girl went missing, the girl’s mother called her and they both searched for the girl. She even suggested that they should report the case to the police. The mother never suspected that she was behind the kidnap.”
The source said while people were looking for the girl, the suspect was also trailing the movement of her friend and the victim on the phone.
He said the kidnapped girl, while in captivity, raised the alarm that Aigbomiam was not her mother and called for help from some Ogun residents, who came to her aid.
The matter was said to have been reported to a community leader, who invited the police.
The source said, “When the police discovered that Aigbomiam was not alone in the crime and she was receiving calls from Believe, they decided to play along. They asked her to invite Believe to Ogun State.
“It was when she arrived that the police arrested her. The case was subsequently transferred to Lagos State where the offence was committed. That was where the mother of the girl saw that her own sister was behind her ordeal.”
The suspects, who were paraded before journalists at the police command headquarters in Ikeja on Thursday, confessed to the crime.
Believe said she hoped to make N30,000 from the kidnap, adding that she needed the money for a business.
She said, “I have my own children. I needed money badly that time and I thought of different ideas, which didn’t work. So, I decided to kidnap my sister’s daughter and demand N30,000 ransom from her. I involved my friend because I didn’t want to be the one to take the girl from school. I don’t know what came over me.”
Aigbomiam, a 42-year-old trader from Ekpoma, Edo State, said Believe asked her to kidnap the victim after she returned from a surgery in Benin.
“She said she wanted to use the girl to collect some money from her sister. She just showed me the girl’s school and I kidnapped her around 7.30am on Tuesday, while she was going to school. I took her to my relative’s house in Ogun State. I was stupid for doing such a thing.”
The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, while advising parents and guardians to be vigilant over their children and wards, said the suspects would be arraigned in court at the end of investigation.

Notorious Nigerian Drug Trafficker Deported Twice From Kenya, Arrested There Again

A Nigerian who was deported from Kenya twice for drug trafficking has been arrested in Nairobi again. Emmanuel Peter Inobemhe was arrested in Obama estate in Eastlands on Wednesday by police after a tip off. He has since been handed over to Anti-Terror Police Unit for interrogation following claims he had been in touch with elements on the police radar over terrorism activities.

Kayole police boss Ali Nuno said he had realized Inobemhe had been deported twice from Kenya over drug issues and wondered how he managed to sneak back. “He says he used Namanga border on both occasions and that is what we want to know how and why. He had been deported in June 2013 before he sneaked back four months later,” said Nuno.

Nuno said Inobemhe was again deported in November 2013 after he was charged in court with drug trafficking and possession. It is not clear when he sneaked back again for the second time.

In September 2013, four months after his first deportation, Inobemhe was arrested in Nairobi’s Donholm alongside Virginia Wakini Wangeci for allegedly possessing 425 sachets of heroin with a market value of Sh85,000.

He was then also charged with being in the country illegally.  The suspect was produced in court Thursday where police asked for more time to investigate his activities.

Inobemhe was among a host of foreigners and specifically Nigerians who were deported from Kenya including Antony Chinedu over narcotics trafficking. The arrest came amid reports that a number of deportees had sneaked back into the country. An immigration official, Mr Edward Kabiu Njau was in September 2013 charged with allowing back prohibited immigrant Anaeke Chimenze, who was among the deportees.
