Man Whose Face Was Ripped Off By A Tiger While He Slept Now Eager For A New One After 23 Years

A man whose entire face was ripped off by a tiger as he slept has finally spoken out after 23 years of "hiding behind a mask".

Hashmot Ali, 45, was left severely disfigured after he was savaged by the animal while out on a boat in the mangrove forests of Bangladesh.

The dad-of-three has lived a life of seclusion since the attack, confining himself to his own village for fear of judgement from outsiders.

But now he will make an eight-hour journey to the country's capital of Dhaka in search of life-changing surgery.

Hashmot said: "I desperately need to get my deformed face fixed.

"I feel it's very important that I get my looks back to normal.

“I want to live my life with pride. I don't want to hide behind this mask anymore.

"I have done enough hiding, now I want to live with joy with my kids.”

The horrific attack occurred while Hashmot was working as a fisherman and was sleeping in a docked boat in a forest canal.

Hashmot has had several surgeries since the incident in an attempt to reconstruct the left side of his face, including three unsuccessful attempts at skin grafts.

Hashmot, who lives with his wife, two sons, and a daughter, will meet with doctors that are offering treatment to reconstruct his face, using skin from other parts of his body.

The series of procedures would be carried out over two years, and if Hashmot decides to go ahead with them they could give him the life he’s been yearning for.

Shakila Akter, Hashmot’s wife, said: “We would be very happy if Hashmot is cured. My whole family would love to have a healthy and normal Hashmot with us.

Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh, has reportedly one of the reasons his 2 year marriage to Nigerian actress, Damilola Adegbite, crashed. According to the actor, the actress was not submissive.
Chris said this in a chat with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, he has said that women should be submissive to their husband whenever they get the opportunity to be married. He said;
“A woman who does not submit to the husband and trust his instincts is not going to be successful in marriage.
I think that we have forgotten about the fundamentals of marriage. When you love someone, it’s important to be able to forgive, respect and submit.” he told Bola Ray.
“As a woman you need to trust the captain of the ship. It’s truly important if you want peace in your home.”
If you are a Christian, it is your bible that will take you through your wedding days.”

41-yr-old man lands in prison for raping and impregnating his neighbour’s 15-year-old daughter

A forty-year-old man, Yahaya Idris, has landed in prison for allegedly raping and impregnating his neighbour’s 15-year-old daughter.
Hajiya Falile Dikko of the Katsina State Senior Magistrates’ Court on Thursday directed that Idris should be remanded in the prison custody till November 6, 2017 when his case would come up for mention.
The prosecuting counsel for the police, Inspector Sani Ado, had told the court that Idris resided in the same house with the victim’s father, Lawal Abubakar, at Gawa Village in the Bindawa Local Government Area of the state where the offence was allegedly committed.
Ado said Abubakar reported the incident to the police on September 23, prompting Idris’ arrest.
The prosecutor said by deceiving and raping the victim, who ended up being impregnated, Idris “committed an offence contrary to Section 283 of the Penal Code.’
The prosecutor however said investigation into the incident was in progress and requested for an adjournment.
The magistrate told Idris that the offence he was accused of was only triable at the high court, adding that he was only arraigned before the Magistrates’ Court “for cognisance purpose.” (Punch)

Woman Dies During S*x Romp With Married Man

A man simply identified as Tolu has landed in trouble after he had sex with an epileptic woman and she died in his room during a sex romp in Lagos.

The incident happened at Oke Odo area of Lagos where both the woman and the man reside. The man has been arrested and detained at Oke Odo Police Division and he is now being charged for murder.

P.M.Express gathered that the suspect secretly invited the deceased when his wife was not around and engaged her in sex romp that lasted for hours.

However, during the romp, the lady started breathing heavily and became unconscious on the bed. The suspect quickly wore his clothes, came out and raised alarm which attracted the neighbours.

She was rushed to a hospital. However, before the doctors would attend to her she passed on. The doctors only certified her dead and her corpse was deposited at the morgue for autopsy report. The incident was reported to the police and the suspect was arrested and detained at the police cell.

P.M.Express gathered that the deceased’s family was contacted, they confirmed that she had epilepsy and she might have died due to suffocation during the romp. However, the police insisted that the suspect was culpable until the report proved otherwise.

Meanwhile, both the police and the suspect were waiting for the report to know the next line of action. When our reporter visited Oke Odo Police Division, the suspect was still detained there.

The DPO was said to have gone to the State Command at Ikeja for CP briefing. However, a police source said the matter will be transferred to SCID Panti for further investigation.

Man finds baby abandoned with money, birth certificate (photo)

A 1-month-old baby abandoned on the side of a highway in Oklahoma, USA, was found in a car seat stuffed with $5,500 in cash, a birth certificate and a Social Security card.
Oklahoma City police say a church group returning from an amusement park spotted the child on Saturday.
At first glance, people driving along Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City thought they were seeing a discarded doll in the patchy grass and weeds.
The driver of a church bus full of kids was the first to stop. He quickly realized the tiny body strapped into the car seat just 10 feet off the busy road was a living and breathing baby.
“It was not moving. Its eyes were closed,” Roger Prater told The Oklahoman. “I thought, ‘Lord, don’t let this thing be hurt,'” Prater said.
Several other drivers pulled over, startled by the sight of the 1-month-old abandoned near a freeway, facing oncoming traffic.
Someone changed the boy’s diaper. Calls were made to 911.
The child appeared perfectly healthy. He wasn’t fussing. He was scooped up and placed inside a car, away from the scorching sun and temperatures hovering in the 90s.
When police arrived Saturday, they found more than $5,000 in cash stuffed in the car seat, as well as a Social Security card, authorities said.
First responders said the infant could not have been out in the elements for more than 30 minutes. He was given a clean bill of health at a local hospital and placed in the care of social workers.
Police say they located the child’s mother through family members and that she was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
Police are investigating how and why the infant was left on the roadside.

Pirates Strike Again, Hijack Passenger Boat

Barely 48 hours after launching an ambush that killed three passengers on Tuesday, gunmen suspected to be sea pirates on Thursday hijacked a passenger boat along Nembe-Brass waterways.

Militants had on August 28 ambushed a military houseboat and killed a soldier and civilian crew. Again, last Friday, the bandits attacked an oil services vessel killing three security men on board.

It was gathered in the latest onslaught by the elusive pirates, that they trailed the boat after it had dropped off its occupants in Brass from Nembe before hijacking the boat.

Community sources who witnessed the incident said the suspected pirates armed with sophisticated weapons shot sporadically into the air before seizing the boat.

The driver of the boat and his crewmen were later allowed to disembark at the creeks while the bandits moved on.

The Chairman of the Bayelsa state Chapter of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria Lloyd Sese who confirmed the incident said that pirates’ activities on the waterways had made life unbearable.

A youth leader from area, Robert Desmond, condemned the incessant sea pirate attacks on the waterways.

Mr. Desmond described the acts as not only senseless but inhuman and wondered why a group of Bayelsa youth should be ”terrorising their own people.”

He tasked security personnel to be on the alert particularly the Brass-Nembe people who are in dire need of marine security.

He called on law enforcement agents to apprehend the pirates, destroy every network and arsenal they may have in their possession, in order to bring respite to the Nembe-Brass people.

Asinim Butswat, a deputy superintendent of police, and spokesman of Bayelsa Police Command, who confirmed the incident said that the command has intensified efforts to check criminality and restore security in the area.
