Angry Football fans throw plates at Paul Pogba for refusing to sign autograph

                   
Football fans who got enraged after Manchester United Player refused to sign them an autograph, threw plates at the red devils player for disrespecting them, even when they help pay his £290,000-a-week salary.

Pogba who also got angry with this wanted to fight back, but was held by staff and customers who were in the popular Akbar restaurant in Manchester City.
"The row escalated very quickly and it looked like there was going to be punches thrown. The lads were furious that Pogba had the nerve to say no to their request for an autograph. But Pogba was enjoying a quiet meal with friends and felt uncomfortable with the attention. 
"They were desperately trying to square up to him and it could easily have turned physical if it weren't for the staff and their pals holding them back. As the world's most expensive footballer, he's an easy target for lads trying to show off like that. He dealt with it very well" an eyewitness said.
According to The Sun, the  fight which occurred around 11:40pm on Monday evening and recorded on a camera phone, got settled after the Police were invited.

"Boy-Yo"An Ogoni youth Murdered By Suspected rival cult group

An indigene of Ogoni in Rivers State, was gunned down by unknown gunmen few hours ago. The notorious cultist identified as Boy-yo is suspected to have been killed by members of a rival cult group.

According to Baridam Ben who shared the story, this happens everyday in the oil rich town of Rivers State. He also advised Ogoni youths to shun cultism and embrace their potentials. Here's what he wrote;

It is painful because he had great promises, great potentials, great energy, but has been swallowed by the street. Over 40,000 people put down their signatures for Obama to run as President of France

There's been a pro-Obama campaign across France, with over 40,000 people putting down their signatures for the ex-President of the United States, Barack Obama, to run for the President of France.

This is coming after dirty secrets of most politicians in the country like Marine Le Pen, Emmanuel Macron, François Fillon, Benoît Hamon, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, seeking to be elected into vacant positions have been spilled.
The unofficial Obama17 campaign have spread posters across Paris with the
slogan "Oui on peut" which means "Yes we can ", as they hope to get a million signatures by May 15th.

Though aware that Obama won't be able to run for the post, the organizers of the campaign disclosed that the campaign was inspired by failure of a clean candidate coming out for elective positions in the country.

“The French are ready to make radical choices - that is good because we have a radical idea to propose to them,” a statement partly read.
''To launch this 6th Republic, we wish to strike a blow by electing a foreign President as the leader of our beautiful country.

The pair, who recently confirmed their relationship with an Instagram video, were spotting leaving the Hotel La Reserve in Paris together.The Starboy singer and his girlfriend walked out of the hotel side-by-side and appeared to be heading to a waiting car.

They first fuelled speculation they were dating after they were seen kissing outside Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, and it seems like they're enjoying spending time together.

Adeola Olonilua, who is the handler of  @NigerianWomenDiary on Instagram, has been allegedly arrested for writing malicious posts against Tonto Dikeh's estranged husband, Mr. Churchill, on Instagram.
The lady who was allegedly taken into custody at Maroko police station, was arrested by 3p.m at Tantalizers. Adeola who alleged Mr. Churchill was a
scammer before he married Tonto Dikeh and also called him unprintable names, was released after she signed an undertaken according to sources.

German Beheaded In Philippines By Militants After Deadline To Pay Ransom Passed

A German man has been beheaded by Abu Sayyaf militants in the southern Philippines after a deadline to pay his ransom passed.

Philippine and German officials confirmed that 70-year-old Jurgen Kantner had been killed after being held for three months by the Islamist militant group.

It was the second time Kantner, 70, had been abducted. He was held along with his partner, Sabine Merz, by Somali pirates for nearly two months in 2008.

Abu Sayyaf posted a gruesome video of its militants killing the man with a curved knife. The video was distributed by the SITE Intelligence Group.

"The Federal Chancellor condemns the abominable act, which once again shows how unscrupulous and inhumane these terrorists are. We all must stand together and fight against them," German Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman Steffen Seibert said.

Pastor tells married female members to give their salaries to their husband every month

According to a twitter user @Chukwukajerri, while preaching last Sunday, the pastor of his church asked all married female members of the church to donate all their salaries to their husband, at the end of every month.
According to him, the lady is then expected to ask from her husband for allowances from her salary,
after removing her tithe. The Pastor claims that, this is the first step of resolving every marital dispute between couples.

24 hours later body of an accident victim still lies at same spot in Ibadan

The body of an old man, who was knocked down by a hit and run commercial motorcyclist (Okada) at Dugbe road in Ibadan, Oyo State, is still left lying at same spot 24 hours after the accident.
According to Kehinde who witnessed the accident, residents of the area seem not to care about
the lifeless body of the deceased, as they went about their normal business like nothing happened.

Here's what he wrote;

"Ok this is serious...I closed from work and witnessed an accident around 8:40pm yesterday, old man was knocked down by one okada rider at this very busy dugbe junction in ibadan, OYO state....OK 24hrs later I came back to pay "Nepa bills" exactly 11:15am at that same junction and to my greatest surprise I found the lifeless body of that man still lying there and nobody seems to care about it."

Husband Catches Wife On Bed With Lover

                         
                              
A businessman, Ezekiel Igbokwe, has been arrested by Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing his wife’s lover, identified as Victor Olatundun.

Mr. Igbokwe was said to have killed Olatundun after he caught him having s*x with his wife at their matrimonial home.

          
The suspect allegedly committed the offence at about 12am at Peace Lodge on Itura Street, Awa Ijebu, Ijebu-North Local Government Area of Ogun State and was later arrested.

Igbokwe explained that he had returned from his trip to Onitsha and met Victor on top of his wife.

Igbokwe, who deals in electronics, said, “I travelled to Onitsha on July 25, and when I came back on July 27, I met a man inside my room making love to my wife. Then we started fighting. The man was stronger than me. When I saw he could overpower me, I got a cutlass in my toilet and dealt him blows in the hand and neck. On the way to the hospital, the fuel in the car finished and he died.”

Igbokwe said he committed the crime due to anger, adding that he never meant to kill the victim.

He said that he had never met Olatundun before, saying he also never suspected that his wife was having an extra-marital affair with another man.

Igbokwe and his wife, Juliet, have three children.

Juliet, who sobbed intermittently, said the man had been pressurising her for a relationship.

She explained that she had always told him she was married, but the victim never gave up until he ended up at their matrimonial home on that night.

“On the day of the incident, I really can’t say if he used a charm on me. All I know is that he called me that he wanted to see me and I told him not to come; he knew my house and when he came, I didn’t know what happened...

Expatriate arrested for disobeying traffic light and using illegal siren in Lagos

An expatriate has been arrested by officers of the Lagos state police command, for breaking traffic laws of the State.

The Mantra protection solution boss, who was in a black Toyota jeep while being escorted to work with a white hilux van, was arrested for disobeying the traffic light and also

using the siren illegally. He's now cooling off in the police station.

I Can’t Bear My Husband’s Strong Sexual Urge-Wife Tells Court

                  
An estranged wife, Sola Bamisile, 30, on Monday told an Ikole Ekiti Customary Court that she could no longer bear her husband’s strong sexual urge.
The petitioner alleged that her husband, Bayo Bamisile, constantly beat her whenever she refused him sex.

Sola told the court that within five and a half years of their marriage she had given birth to four children.

She also alleged that the respondent failed to care for her and the children.


According to her, none of the children is in school.

“I always quarrel with my husband because none of our children is in school; there is no proper care for me and the children.

“My husband is always concerned about having sex with me whenever he has taken palm-wine.

“He has not even paid my dowry,’’ she said.

The petitioner, however, told the court that her husband and his family members had been reaching out to her to reconsider her divorce move.

“My husband and his family have been coming to me to change my mind about the divorce.

“He has also written a letter of undertaking to be of good behavior,’’ she said.

The petitioner tendered the letter of undertaking in court as exhibit.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the letter was admitted by the court.

The respondent denied the allegation of constantly fighting his wife and failing to take care of his family.

He however admitted not paying the dowry.

The president of the court, Mrs Yemisi Ojo, ruled that the plaintiff should monitor the respondent’s behavior for three months to ascertain if he had changed.

She also ordered that the man should enroll his children in school before the next adjourned date.

Ojo adjourned the case to May 8 for report of settlement. (NAN)

A pregnant woman who was on her way to refill her cooking gas, was killed in accident that occurred in Obadare, Lagos.

It is alleged that the woman was crushed to death after the car somersaulted, leaving its
passengers seriously injured.

Lilybest supermarket along Unilag road razed down by fire

Lilybest supermarket, located  at Abule Oja neighborhood, off Unilag Road, Akoka, Lagos State, was razed down by fire this morning as residents tried putting out the fire.
According to eyewitnesses, the Lagos State fire service was called, but there was no swift response from them.

“A popular supermarket called LilyBest caught fire this morning at about 6:30am at Abule Oja
bus stop, off Unilag road. Boys came out and tried to put it off but it got worse and caught the next building,” an unnamed resident said.

“We called 112 emergency line, a million times, they picked and said the firefighters were on their way. For over an hour, we kept on calling. Mind you there’s a fire station inside Unilag and also one at Onike. But none came to their aid.

“Eventually, after the fire had caught a boutique and was also making its way to the popular NEXT Salon, the firefighters came escorted by a Police Van, but it was too late. The area boys stacked their trucks and they fled the scene. The fire has been put out but the shops are gone. Millions of Naira gone in this recession,” he added.
