Housewife Jailed For Being Pregnant For Another Man

A Karmo Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, today sentenced one Rose James, 23, to two months in prison for adultery.
The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, however, gave her N10,000 option of fine. The judge advised her to desist from committing the offence and to be a decent woman.

“You should always set your goals right, this will also serve as deterrent to others would-be offenders,’’ Sadiq said.

Before her conviction, James, a resident of Karmo, prayed the court to temper justice with mercy, blaming her husband for her promiscuous lifestyle. According to her, “my husband does not treat me right, but this new man does, he buys clothes and other things.’’

The convict told the court that she had told her husband’s family that she wants to divorce him.

The prosecutor, Zannah Dalhatu, had told the court that James Olanga, the husband of Rose, had reported the matter at the Karmo Police Station, on July 17.

Dalhatu said the complainant reported that his wife committed adultery and got pregnant for another man.

During police investigation, she confessed to the offence.

The prosecutor said the offence was punishable under Section 387 of the Penal Code.

After 40 Years Of Marriage,A Ghanian Lady Give Birth To A Baby Boy

A 59-year-old Ghanaian woman who had tried for nearly four decades to become pregnant has given birth at a New York hospital after fertility treatments.
Akosua Budu Amoako gave birth to a full-term 7lb 4oz boy on June 15 at Bellevue Woman’s Center in Niskayuna, near Albany. Budu says she and her husband started trying to have children after they married 38 years ago, but eventually stopped trying after she discovered she had a blocked fallopian tube that made natural pregnancy almost impossible.
Then last year, after learning that a 60-year-old woman in the couple’s homeland of Ghana gave birth to triplets after fertility treatments, Budu underwent in vitro fertilization at an Albany-area clinic using her husband’s sperm and a donor egg.
The baby was named after his father, Isaiah Somuah Anim. He is doing fine, as is his mother. Finally! Isaiah Somuah Anim, 59, and his wife Akosua Budu Amoako, 59, hold their son Isaiah Somuah Anim Jr in upstate New York.
‘We haven’t gotten much sleep, but I feel fine and I think he already knows our voices,’ she told the Times Union. ‘When he’s crying sometimes, my husband will call from work and Isaiah will hear his voice through the phone and calms down and stops crying.’

See Why Justin Bieber Banned From China

Justin Bieber is not welcome to perform in China because of his "bad behaviour", Beijing authorities have said, after the pop idol angered many Chinese in 2014 by visiting a controversial Japanese war shrine

The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture revealed it is not a "Belieber" when it said the 23-year-old Canadian, who last played in the country in 2013, had a lot of growing up to do if he wanted to return.

The statement came after Chinese fans posted comments on the agency's website demanding to know when their heart throb would be allowed to perform in China again.

It is "inappropriate to introduce bad behaviour into the performing arts" it said, calling the performer out for his antics and urging him to turn over a new leaf.

"We hope Justin Bieber can improve his words and deeds in the process of growing up and become a singer people really like."

The singer's latest song "Despacito" has been streamed over 4.6 billion times since its March release, according to the Universal Music Group.

The Beijing cultural bureau did not specifically mention Bieber's 2014 visit to Tokyo's Yasukuni Shrine, which honours millions of mostly Japanese war dead, including convicted World War II war criminals.

The shrine is seen across Asia as a symbol of Japan's perceived lack of penitence for its past imperialist aggression, under which China in particular suffered heavily.

Shortly after his trip, the singer behind the hit song "Sorry" issued an apology to scandalised Chinese fans, saying he was "mislead to think the shrines were only a place of prayer".

But some have never forgiven him.

Suspected members of the dreaded Badoo cult early Friday morning killed two lovers in their apartment in Ogun State, Punch Metro reports. It was reported that the heads of the victims were smashed. It was also said that the victims were to be officially married in December.
The incident happened at a storey building located on Hassan Abiodun Street, off Ojodu Berger, in Ifo Local Government Area of the state.
According to Punch Metro, many of the residents could not be consoled as policemen from Ojodu Abiodun Division took away the remains of the deceased for onward transfer to the General Hospital Sagamu.
Many of the residents wailed as the corpses were brought out of the room and wrapped in wrappers.
A resident told our correspondent that the victims were to be officially married in December.
“The lady recently lost her father and the man she was to marry only came on a visit. She was a tall, beautiful lady and was also pregnant, ” the resident said.
It was gathered that their assailants tore the window net to gain entry and thereafter smashed the lovers’ heads.
Another resident said none of the tenants knew what happened until daybreak.
The resident said, “There is a police officer who lives next door to the deceased’s Boy’s Quarter. He did not hear anything. It is very sad and this development will create panic in the area.”
It was observed that the police station is a stone’s throw from where the murder took place even as residents said vigilantes patrol the street every night.
The police also arrested a man who tried to take a picture of their van and the vehicle the victims were put in.
As of 3:00am the occupants of the building were still crying at the frontage.
The spokesperson for the police in Ogun, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, could not be reached for comments as his mobile indicated that it was switched off.

Pastor orders single youths to choose each other for marriage (Photos/Video)

Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, invited single men and women to the altar and ordered them to start choosing whoever they like for marriage during a service in his church in Warri, Delta state,

During the prophetic service, he summoned a lady and asked if she was married. The lady replied no, and the pastor asked her when she likes to get married.
The clergyman then ordered her to choose any man she likes in the auditorium.

The woman is then seen searching through the congregation to see a man of her choice.
After the fruitless effort by the lady, the man of God concluded that there was a demonic mark upon her preventing her prospective husband from locating her. The pastor asked the lady:
“Chop and go. How many men don chop you?”
The matchmaking then metamorphosed to another level as the pastor eventually summoned all single men to file out and spinsters to line up behind the men of their choice.
“If anybody wants to marry anyone here come and touch the person – any person you like.
“We cannot allow women to be like this forever. I want to marry for these people.
“Look at your back. I give you people from now till month ending to screen your wives. Nobody should go and meet for night o,” the man of God said.

Pastor Fufeyin promised to sponsor the mass wedding of the would-be couples. Watch video below….

Use this medium to warn Kanu and other such individuals who are fond of making careless comments in relation to our leaders-Oodua People Congress

The Oodua People's Congress(OPC) has described the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu as a 'non-entity' over his recent comments on former President Olusegun Obasanjo and a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.

According to a statement by the group made available to PoliticsNGR and signed by its national president, Adesope Dare, the OPC said it will not sit down and watch Kanu insult Yoruba elders. The statement read;

“The OPC also supports the genuine aspirations of all self-determination groups who pursue their aims through non-violent means. The Nigerian constitution and several international charters, to which the country is a signatory to, recognise the right to freedom of association by anybody, whether individual, corporate or institutional.

However, in supporting such agitations, we must not shy away from rebuking Nnamdi Kanu for the aspersions he has been casting in the direction of our revered leaders.Kanu’s repeated condemnation of former President Olusegun Obasanjo; former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and others is condemned in the strongest possible terms.

The idea of respect for elders might be alien to Kanu and his ilk, but it is a fundamental part of the Yoruba culture and tradition and we cannot afford to overlook such transgressions. We, therefore, use this medium to warn Kanu and other such individuals who are fond of making careless comments in relation to our leaders; that OPC will no longer sit back and allow this bunch of nonentities to disrespect our leaders or to use them to score cheap political scores.”

Lamar Ready To Spill Dirts On Kardashians In Tell All Book

The Kardashains may need to brace themselves for some awkward reading as Lamar Odom has revealed he is writing a ‘tell all’ book.
The 37-year-old retired basketball star was married to 33-year-old Khloe Kardashian between 2009 and 2016.

And now reports are suggesting he has signed a $10 million (£7.7 million) deal to pen his memoirs.

And according to the star, he won’t be holding back.

"I have a book coming out, an autobiography about my life,” he told In Touch magazine.

"[The book will cover] everything. Everything. It’s a free-for-all. [I’ll be] open about everything that’s been going on in my life, about the past,” the troubled star promised.
Lamar fell into a life threatening coma back in October 2013 after being found unconscious inside a brothel in Navada.

And according to a source, his brush with death has left him with “nothing to lose” - so fans should expect explosive details in his memoir.

“Lamar is going to include never-before-told secrets about cheating, sex, and drugs, the booze, the pills, the cocaine, all of it,” a source told In Touch.

But there will reportedly be reason for the Kardashian klan to be braced for shocks as the MailOnline claims the book will also pull back the curtain on some of the more controversial moments from the famous family’s lives.

According to the website, Lamar will: "reveal plenty of Kardashian family secrets about drugs, surgery as well as secret splits between Kim and Kanye West.”

A source added to MailOnline that the book will “go down in history”, stating: "'Lamar has been close to the Kardashian family through all of their craziest drama, and he is their biggest threat when it comes to spilling their dirtiest secrets."

Reports also suggest Kim Kardashian will be painted as a “money grabber” who "uses men for fame", Kris Jenner will be revealed to have hit on various men in the family - and that she knew about Caitlyn Jenner’s transgender identity back when she went by the name Bruce, Kylie will be exposed for having some questionable friends, and Rob Kardashian’s troubles will also be discussed.

Deposed Baale Of Shangisha, Wife Sent To Kirikiri For Faking Kidnap

Magistrate T. Akanni of an Ogba magistrate’s court, Ikeja, yesterday, ordered the deposed Baale of Shangisha, Chief Mutiu Ogundare, to be remanded in Kirikiri Prison for allegedly faking his kidnap.

The Baale, alongside his wife, Abolanle, will remain in prison’s custody with one Mohammed Babatunde, pending the perfection of their bail conditions.

Ogundare and others were arraigned before the court on a three-count charge offence bordering on breach of public peace and fake kidnapping.

However, they all pleaded not guilty to the offences preferred against them by the Police.

The defendants’ counsel, Mr. Glory Odimayo, pleaded for their bail. Odimayo argued that the defendants are prominent members of the Shangisha community and will not jump bail.

Odimayo urged the court to grant them bail, while citing relevant constitutional provisions and authorities, stressing that the issue of bail is at the discretion of the court.

The prosecutor, Mr. Peter Okerinmodun, opposed the application, saying if granted bail, their presence in the community might cause a breakdown of law and order and that they will use their position to influence witnesses.

Ruling on the matter, Magistrate Akanni, citing Section 155 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, 2011, agreed with the defence that bail is at the discretion of the court.

She latter granted the defendants N2 million bail with two sureties in like sum.

She further ordered that the sureties must include a traditional ruler, person with registered property in Lagos, be a tax payer and a Grade Level 17 officer in the state public service.

She, thereafter, adjourned the matter till August 23 for hearing.
