Sleeping with Messi is like sleeping like a Dead Man

Lionel Messi's year could get worse, thanks to Xoana Gonzalez's confession on TV.
Argentine model Xoana Gonzalez has lifted the lid on Lionel Messi’s bedroom life. In an interview with a Peruvian TV show called ‘the value of truth’ Gonzalez (below) described the bedroom experience with the 29-year-old as ‘having sex with a dead body.’

Xoana GonzalezMessi, who is currently with the Barcelona squad in their pre-season tour, reportedly got intimate with the model some years ago. She revealed:

"It was many years ago. In truth he was very young. But he knew what he was doing, was not minor, that was the important thing.

"His security told me 'got someone you want to know'. I was curious to see who it was, and froze when I saw it was my idol Messi I froze. I said that he is the wimp, though because he sent his security to get me. There I noticed that he is very shy. We talked about music and cannot remember if he told me he had a girlfriend or not. After a while we went to his apartment in Puerto Madero.

"When one plays across the whole pitch, you expect someone to return the favour. I wanted him to show me more than that. At one point I felt like I was with a dead body."

Her comments on TV could hurt Leo’s image further after a torrid year. From court cases to losing in the finals of the Copa America Centenario, Messi’s only solace in his football career this year derives from winning La Liga and Copa del Rey with Barcelona.

The legendary footballer is currently married to his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo. They have been married since 2008, and blessed with two kids so far; Thiago and Mateo Messi

Goezte returns to Dortmund

Germany’s World Cup winner Mario Goetze relished his return to Borussia Dortmund’s pre-season training on Monday for the first time after three barren years at Bayern Munich.
Alongside fellow new signings Andre Schuerrle and Raphael Guerreiro, Goetze was put through his paces with a series of fitness tests at Bochum University by Borussia’s backroom staff.
The trio joined a group of six players returning from their holidays after international duty including Poland’s Lukasz Piszczek, Julian Weigl and South Korean Park Joo-Ho.

“Finally, let’s go,” wrote Goezte on his Twitter account under a picture of the Germany star on a treadmill.
His first training session with the full Dortmund squad takes place on Wednesday with Borussia to host his former club Bayern for the German Super Cup on August 14.
Goezte left Dortmund for arch-rivals Bayern at the end of the 2012/13 season and lived up to his billing as a rising Germany star by volleying home Schuerrle’s cross in extra-time for the winning goal in the 2014 World Cup final against Argentina.
But he has endured three unproductive years at Bayern, mainly spent on the bench or injured, having failed to impress coach Pep Guardiola or hold down a first-team place, despite collecting three back-to-back Bundesliga winner’s medals.
Having paid 37 million euros ($41.31m) for Goetze in 2013, Bayern sold him back to Dortmund for 26 million last month and the 24-year-old has plenty to prove again in the black and yellow shirt.
Likewise, Schuerrle needs some good performances after 18 months at Wolfsburg, having failed to impress on his return from an unsuccessful spell at Chelsea, and has been signed by Dortmund for around 30 million euros.
“At the end of the day, it’s primarily about one thing for both of them: performance, performance, performance,” Dortmund’s director of sport Michael Zorc told Kicker magazine.
“Neither Mario nor Andre have had top years behind them and they have not taken the easy path.
“For them, it’s clear that they will be scrutinised in the public eye.”
Having come up through Dortmund’s academy, only to turn his back to join Bayern, Goetze could encounter some hostility from Dortmund’s fans, at least initially.
“If some people feel compelled to boo him, they should do it,” Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said on the subject of Goetze’s return, with their first game of the league season at home to Mainz on August 27.
“We have a democracy. But I’ll react like an allergy when someone is personally insulted.
“That doesn’t do anyone any good.”
Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel says his goal is to see Goetze ‘laugh again’ with good performances, after scowling his way through the last few months in Munich.
Tuchel has also added Portugal left-back Guerreiro, midfielder Sebastian Rode, former Barcelona defender Marc Bartra and exciting teenage striker Ousmane Dembele.
Schuerrle is a direct replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has left to join Manchester United, as Dortmund try to end Bayern’s four-year stranglehold on the Bundesliga title with Carlo Ancelotti now in charge of the Munich giants.

Commission Says Nigerian Army Should Be Prosecuted for Killing 348 Shiites

A Nigerian commission of inquiry finds the army gunned down 348 Shiites in an attack in which one soldier died and urges the prosecution of all those involved in the killings.
The commission’s report published Monday says it is unable to say with certainty how many people died in a three-day military raid on the headquarters, school and home of leader Ibraheem Zakzaky’s Iranian-inspired Islamic Movement in Nigeria.
The movement refused to give evidence to the commission because of the detention of Zakzaky, who was shot seven times and blinded in one eye during the attack Dec. 12-14, 2015.
The report expresses concern that Nigeria’s Shiite movement may receive support from Iran and Lebanon’s militant Hezbollah.
Soldiers said they attacked because of an alleged attempt to kill Nigeria’s army chief.

Actor Michael Dougla's son released from prison after nearly 7 years

Michael Douglas’ eldest son, Cameron Douglas, was quietly released from jail after nearly seven years for drug possession.

The 37 year old actor was arrested in a New York City hotel in 2009 by the Drug Enforcement Administration for possession of 0.5 pounds of methamphetamine, which was enough to charge him with intent to distribute.

Cameron was sentenced to five years in prison in April 2010, but his sentence was extended the following year when he pleaded guilty to smuggling heroin and other drugs into jail. He spent the last two years in solitary confinement.

The National Lampoon’s Adam & Eve actor was scheduled for release in 2018, but he was recently released early, according to Page Six.

Cameron is the son of Michael and first wife Diandra Morrell Douglas, who he divorced in 2000 after 23 years of marriage. The Fatal Attraction actor married Catherine Zeta-Jones in November 2000. They are the parents of two children, Dylan, 15, and Carys, 13.

Death toll from July Baghdad blast rises to 323

One of the deadliest bombings to ever hit Iraq killed 323 people, two thirds of whom needed DNA testing to identify, the health minister said, raising an earlier toll from last month’s attack.
A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-rigged minibus in a crowded shopping area in Baghdad’s Karrada district early on July 3, sparking infernos in nearby buildings that burned many victims alive.
“One hundred and fifteen martyrs were identified directly after the bombing by their families,” health minister Adila Hamoud told a televised news conference.
But the identity of 208 more people killed in the blast, many of whose bodies were burned beyond recognition, could not be determined, and they were sent for DNA testing, Hamoud said.
She had previously said that the attack, which was claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group, had killed 292 peopled, of whom 177 were unidentified.
People have been furious over delays in determining the fate of their loved ones, and have sharply criticised the Iraqi government for failing to protect them.
IS overran large areas north and west of Baghdad in 2014, but Iraqi forces have since regained significant territory from the jihadists.
The extremists have responded to battlefield setbacks by striking back against civilians, and experts have warned there may be more bombings as the jihadists continue to lose ground.

Personal debt allegedly drove FCMB branch manager to commit suicide

There are new reports that the First City Monument Bank manager who shot himself in the head last week and shocked the whole nation with his act did it because he had amassed a huge debt from personal commitments and was at the verge of “losing everything.”

Olisa Nwakoby, a commercial banker with Nigeria's First City Group, took his own life before his pastor, leaving his family, friends and colleagues writhing in grief.

The news spread quickly, prompting reports that he may have died as a result of undue pressure being mounted on him by his employer, over a N350 million delinquent loan he approved on behalf of the bank.

The reports alleged that FCMB started putting pressure on Mr. Nwakoby to find a way of recovering
the loans or face legal consequences.

“With pressure mounting on all sides and apprehension over soiling his family name, the banker and father of a 10-year-old daughter shot himself,” one of the reports said.
According to a new report on ParrotNigeria, Mr. Nwakoby did not approve loans that had become delinquent, neither was he under any pressure from his superiors to recover any money for the bank.

A source, who spoke with them reportedly said Mr. Nwakoby narrated he had amassed huge debt from personal commitments and was at the verge of “losing everything.”
“He was very worried when he walked up to me to narrate his debt burden,” the source said.
“I was shocked to hear that he had killed himself despite all the assurances I gave him just a night before,” the source said. “This is the most heartbreaking moment of my life.”
Mr. Nwakoby reportedly suffered a massive depression based on this sequence of events prompting him to approach his spiritual adviser for help.

He visited the pastor to whom he narrated his ordeal. Shortly afterward a loud “bang!” was heard. That was not before Mr. Nwakoby had informed his host to take care of his family on his behalf.

He died instantly.

The pastor declined comments for this story, but sources close to him confirmed that Mr. Nwakoby came to see the pastor and they didn’t suspect that anything was amiss.
“He had been a frequent visitor to this premises,” the source said. “So there’s no way we could have suddenly detected that he was having issues this time around that he visited.”
Family sources who spoke with the news outlet described Mr. Nwakoby as a “loving, unassuming and hardworking man” who laboured to “ensure a good life for himself, his family as well as his neighbours.”
“There’s hardly anything he has that he can’t give,” a source said. “I have always heard that good people die early, this is perhaps the best corollary of that parlance. It is sad.”
Mr. Nwakoby, until his death, was with the Lekki Branch of First City Monument Bank which he joined more than a decade ago. He left behind his wife and 10-year old daughter.
