These suspected thieves would have been dead by now if not for the fast intervention of a Local Government Chairman, Hon Chike Orjiako, in Imo state.
According to Facebook user, Kingsley Chukwu who shared the story, even the police couldn't stop the angry mobs from brutally beating them Read what he posted after the cut...

It took the timely intervention of Hon Chike Orjiako for these half-dead alleged thieves to escape the fiery furnace at Alaojii Aba branch Ehime Mbano LGA after the efforts the police proved abortive. 

The alleged machine thieves were chased by commercial motorcyclists from Oriagu market and nature caught up with them at Aba branch. The thieves were brutally beaten to coma and about to be set ablaze when the police arrived. The mob threatened to attack and burn their vehicle. However, when their efforts were aborted by the brazenly angry mob, the police withdrew. 

When the information got to the T.C chairman of Ehime Mbano, he forthwith moved to the venue. It was only by God's grace that he was able to talk to the war-ready youths and they stayed action. When he needed support to evacuate the victims out of the location before the youth changed their mind, the police were no where to be found because they didn't want to risk going there again. 

However, the prompt call put across to the commissioner of police by Hon Chike was the only thing that brought the police back. 

Meanwhile, the victims were assumed dead until revived by a doctor, they are presently recuperating pending when the wrath of the law will be unleashed on them. 

Nigerian student allegedly killed by cultists

According to James Roberts who shared the sad news on Facebook, a young man called Kelly Ngo  Sylva was allegedly brutally cut down in his prime by a cult group last night.
I really don't understand the circumstances behind his death because of the various codes being used but his friends have been mourning him online. I hate to imagine what his family is going through right now.

Kelly is being described as a very gentle and reserved person, so what happened?

Ex-chairman of Association of Local Governments in Nigeria (ALGON) AND PPA gubernatorial candidate Chief Chikwe Udensi is currently the focus of attention after being accused of domestic violence and wife battering. According to Irene Abott who claims to be the niece of Dinma Udensi, Chikwe's wife, the former chairman is allegedly a violent womaniser, wife beater and abuser who has been torturing the wife for daring to ask for a divorce.

It started as normal couple arguments then slaps to minor beatings, and now major beating to the extent of almost disfiguring her. She has tried to endure but it's getting worse each day so No she will no longer stay in this marriage and die. NO WAY!!!

She has asked for divorce and he beats the hell out of her for bringing it up, because it'll dent the image he has made society believe of him, she's currently under lock and keys and he's not letting her go out.
She sent out an SOS and has asked that her story be made public.

He's very influential with the police force so it's almost impossible to rely on them. He constantly threatens to kill her or take away her kids if she sneaks away.

She has tried to leave many times but security is tight.

She's terrified of him and is a shadow of herself but after years of domestic violence she has become bold enough to go public about it.

If nothing is done, God forbid her corpse is the next we'll see!

This isn't the first, second or third time, it has been happening and she's had so many hospital visits to treat the injuries inflicted on her by him.

Chikwe Udensi is a womaniser, a violent abuser, arrogant and almost heartless.

I'm calling on human rights activists, lawyers and just anyone that can help fight free this woman, No one deserves to die in marriage NOBODY!

Why I Sacked 5,000 Teachers-Gov. Udom

Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State says he decided to sack 5,000 teachers because his administration uncovered the illicit activities of a syndicate that was behind the issuance of fake appointment letters to thousands of unqualified applicants.

He warned that his administration was not ready to bow to sentiments in ensuring that the right decisions were made in the interest of the people of the State.

Udom, in a statement said after futile attempts to manage the situation, he found it necessary to cancel to recruitment because of the lapses noticed in the foundation of the recruitment process.

“Even the bible says if the foundation is not right, what can the righteous man do? We have tried to see how we could get something out of that recruitment process, but believe me, the foundation was very faulty.

“If we are putting people to teach our children, please let us leave sentiments apart and go for the right people. We need to make sure they went through the right process and have the right qualifications,” he said.

For the affected 5,000 persons, Udom said that they stood a better chance of being employed in the subsequent recruitment exercise should they meet the basic requirements of teaching.

“It was discovered that the syndicate which had since been apprehended was involved in printing fake letters of appointment and fake school certificates at outrageous amounts ranging from 150,000 to 200,000 naira.

“We are assuring the 5,000 people that they need not worry, when we are calling for aptitude test, you need not re-apply, just walk into the venue of the exercise with that appointment letter and justify that you are qualified to teach our children,” he stated.

He maintained that those making the noise over the cancellation were likely those with the fake appointment letters, insisting that anyone qualified with a school certificate would always be ready to defend his qualification

A woman in India was brutally beaten and left unconscious by a vigilante mob who believed she was guilty of killing her husband.

The hubby, Ashok Paswan, 50, died following a domestic violence incident involving his wife Usha Devi, 45, in the village of Samastipur in northern India, police said.


Usha was then dragged out of her home in front of her children by a group of around 25 men. Nearly 100 people stood by and watched and no one stepped forward to help her.

The village suspected her guilty of killing her husband Ashok Paswan, 50, following a domestic violence.
Eventually the police took Usha to Sadar Hospital, in Samastipur, where she was admitted and treated for her injuries.

A driver, Jacob Elegbede, who attempted to hang himself behind a primary school in Zanda, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has blamed spiritual forces, saying  he did not know what came over him.
The 48-year old father of one stated that he was not himself when he climbed a tree in an attempt to commit suicide in a nearby bush, noting that he simply found himself on the tree along with the rope he wanted to use to kill himself.

Elegbede, who worked with a construction company in Abuja, twice attempted to hang himself on Saturday and Sunday, prompting his neighbours to alert policemen, who arrested him.

Before the suicide attempt, he had written a note in which took responsibility for the planned crime and also asked for forgiveness from his family and neighbours.

Elegbede, who hails from Badagry, Lagos, also listed the names of his creditors whom he owed various amounts, craving their forgiveness.

The suspect, in an interview with Punch Metro at the FCT Police Command, Abuja, on Wednesday, explained that his problem began about 18 months ago, when he started suffering from insomnia.

He said his situation got worse when he started having strange dreams and suffering from hot flashes in his head and chest.

He said, “I also started having strange dreams in which I find myself having intercourse with strange women and even animals. I worship at the Mountain of Fire and Miracle church in Abuja, but I couldn’t go for prayers or deliverance because I work from Monday to Sunday and there was no time for any other thing. I believe my problem is spiritual because I can’t even explain how I found myself on the tree with a rope to hang myself.”

Asked about the suicide note that was recovered by the police, Elegbede, stated that he could not remember writing the said letter because he had no pen or paper in his room.

“I strongly believe some spiritual forces were behind my problem because while I was in the cell last Saturday, I had a wet dream in which a dog was licking my private parts,” he said.

The FCT Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Mustafa, said the suspect would be arraigned in court after investigation, adding that attempted suicide was a criminal offence.

THE GANG BLACKMAILING UNIZIK GIRLS

A seven man syndicate of young guys who specialize in blackmailing young ladies (especially UNIZIK students) were caught by the police at Enugu.

From investigation, these guys were the people who orchestrated the release of the lesbian video of the former Miss Anambra. They met their waterloo when they tried the same trick on another lady who was a former Unizik student but currently an upcoming actress and a model.

Their mode of operation is very simple. They open female Facebook accounts and scout for unsuspecting young ladies. These guys will operate the said accounts as ladies and become very friendly with the said girls. Inundated with promises of making them become celebrities and promising to crop out their faces before posting pictures, these unsuspecting girls will send nude pictures and shot lesbian videos in return for a particular sum of money(around 100k). Immediately they get hold of these videos or pictures, they will blackmail them into returning the money or else they publish the video or pictures.

I, as Martin Beck Nworah, is categorically stating that this is a verified fact because I have seen victims in the past. And even if you do, they will still keep the materials and use it in blackmailing you when they feel you have become popular or achieved something.

In the case of the former Miss Anambra, after extorting so much money from her, she became fed up and threatened to deal with them since she is now a beauty queen. Remember, her lesbian video was shot in her year one in the university even before she dreamt of contesting for Miss Anambra in 2015. When these boys saw they can no longer extort more money from her, they decided to start releasing her video(One single video they decided to cut in parts). They also screen grabbed parts of the video and released as pictures to the public.

While we wait for official statement from the security outfits, this is not in defense of anybody. I promised to physically follow this issue and see to its logical end. Thank God, we are making progress and getting to the roots. Before you form an opinion on social media, please try and verify facts if you can.

For our parents, I have repeatedly begged you to be close to your daughters and provide enough guidance for them. Just try your best and make sure you provide enough for them. Teach them how to be contented with whatever you can provide. We thank God these guys were caught today, only God knows how many ladies they have destroyed their future in the past.

Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
