Sen Godswill Akpabio Allegedly sponsoring 2Face’s planned protest against Buhari

Investigations by PM News allegedly revealed a former Akwa Ibom State Governor is the chief sponsor of the planned massive nationwide protest being orchestrated by hip hop artiste, 2Face against the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

The protest, planned to hold on Sunday, February 5, had generated much hue and cry with some Nigerian celebrities queuing behind the move, with others kicking against the move.

But on Monday a source claimed that 2face was being used as a stooge to drive the protest aimed at smearing the Buhari-led Federal Government.

The said former governor, now a Senator, has never hidden his love for the ‘African Queen’ crooner and had in the past said to have showered the award winning musician with cash and gifts worth several millions of Naira.

It would be recalled that 2face and his wife, Annie Macaulay, in 2013, were gifted two brand new Prado SUVs by this former governor as their wedding gift which they graciously accepted.

2face has however, come under severe criticism by some fans who feel he was silent during the previous administration where massive corruption, lawlessness and poverty were the order of the day, with some concluding that there was more behind the protest.

See Nollywood Actress That Was Brutalised By Soldier

Beautiful actress Jewel Infinity has cried out after she was left hospitalized, following a beating she received from an army officer in Rivers State. Read the story as shared by her:

"Please my good people, I'm sincerely calling out for justice against violence. I am hospitalized right now. I'm in serious pain and agony; in between life and death.I boarded a siena vehicle leaving Port Harcourt for Onitsha. We were pulled over by some soldiers.
One of them, SULAIMAN OLAMILEKAN, began to molest me. He accused me of discussing him, where I was only having a friendly debate with the lady beside me. I explained to him, but he ignored me and demanded I disembark, kneel down and apologise to him.
I told him I did nothing wrong to apologise. He started hitting me with a stick. The other soldiers confiscated and broke my phone, to prevent me from taking pictures. When I told them that I'd no longer proceed with the journey, they refused.
The driver drove off to some distance away from there, and I alighted and returned to Port harcourt and went straight to the Barracks to report him. His superiors pleaded that I shouldn't take the case any further; that he'd be remanded for one month, which i feel is not enough justice.
He was summoned and he confessed that i didn't do anything to have warranted his cruel action, that he was in a very bad mood. He begged me to forgive him and not take things seriously. Right now i am bedridden.
The doctor said I'm running temperature due to my high blood pressure. I am in serious pain and rendered partially immoveable. His facebook I.D is Sulaiman Olamilekan.
Please help me reach out to anybody in authority, who can fight this violence. Violence is indeed a cankerworm that has eaten us deep into every fabric of the Nigerian Army Force. Soldiers fight and protect their own, not to destroy the innocent civilians."

"They Want To Kill Me"; witness in Justice Ademola & wife's case seeks protection

Justice Jude Okeke of an Abuja High Court in Maitama, on Monday, threatened to strike out the charges preferred against a judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Adeniyi Ademola, and others, if the prosecution failed again to present its next witnesses at subsequent court sittings.

The federal government is prosecuting Justice Ademola, his wife, Olabowale, and a SAN, Joe Agi, on charges bordering on giving and receiving of gratification and alleged illegal possession of firearms found with the judge.

The prosecution led by Mr. Segun Jegede had called five witnesses, but was unable to continue its case by calling its sixth witness as scheduled on Monday.

Jegede had told Justice Okeke that he was unable to proceed because of the absence of his next prosecution witness whom he said had been taken into hiding after escaping an assassination attempt at about 2am on Monday.

Jegede said, “This is not the first time. We now have a situation whereby prosecution witnesses are now systematically threatened.”

Jegede sought an adjournment to enable him to make an arrangement to bring to court his witness, a former Director, Pension Accounts Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Shaibu Teidi, whose life he said was threatened earlier on Monday.

The judge was initially angry that the witness was not in court, but later ordered the IG of Police, Mohammed Idris, to provide protection for the  witnesses in the case, to allow for smooth trial.

Female Prison Officer Caught Smuggling Inmate’s Sperm Out Of Prison

A 47-year-old female prison official has been caught with what is said to be the sperm of one of the prisoners she was supervising.

The lady, Alison, was caught when a container of spe-rm belonging to a 32-year-old convicted kidnapper, Marvin, was found in her handbag during a routine search.

Marvin and his twin brother, Michael, were notorious for hijacking cars and kidnapping motorists, shooting their way around.

Alison, a mother of three, said she wanted to use the spe-rm in an IVF procedure, where fertilised egg is implanted into a female recipient (probably herself).

A search of her home revealed a love letter from the prisoner, hidden in her underwear drawer.

Authorities hold that inappropriate relationships between staff and prisoners are very dangerous and can often lead to other criminal activity which puts the public at further risk.

Alison was subsequently jailed in the UK for nine months after being convicted of misconduct.

OAP Freeze Slam RCCG by reacting to Danish Woman who rescued a Nigerian child

Uyo based Danish humanitarian, Anja Ringgren Lovén gained fame and accolades, last year after she rescued, rehabilitated and adopted Hope, a small boy abandoned by his family in Akwa Ibom State, for being a 'witch'.
One year after, she posted a before and after photo with Hope as he set out for school. OAP Freeze used the photo to call out RCCG. Read what he wrote after the cut...

"Redeemed was busy setting up churches on every street, yet they missed this boy..... I bet with you, that there was a Redeemed church within walking distance from this starving child, branded a witch by the same doltish belief system that extorts your first salary every January, having you willingly give your hard earned money in a recession, to a church where the G.O has a private jet and leads a life of sheer opulence!
-
The Nigerian Pentecostal church brands people wearing tattoos as bad and 'unchristian' whereas this woman with all her tattoos is more Christ like than all your 'Daddy GOs' can ever be. What she is doing is all Jesus requires of us, Jesus NEVER COLLECTED TITHE or first fruit and his disciples didn't collect it either!
As a matter of fact, no Christian church collected tithe for 600 years after Christ died and resurrected.

History claims that Mungo Park discovered the Niger and we wonder "what were the Nigerians living around the Niger doing, that it had to take a foreigner to discover a river we were bathing in and washing from?" My answer was simple "The same thing we were doing when hope was found" ~FRZ

P.S. Anyone that demands your entire January salary from you, in this recession, is a thief! Anyone who gives it is a fool!

Donald Trump Sack acting AG Sally Yates after she refused to defend travel ban

Donald Trump has fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she ordered Justice Department lawyers to stop defending the president's controversial immigration orders.

Ms Yates, who was appointed by Mr Obama, said she was "not convinced that the executive order is lawful".

“I am responsible for ensuring that the positions we take in court remain consistent with this institution’s solemn obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right,” Ms Yates wrote in a letter to Justice Department lawyers.
“At present, I am not convinced that the defence of the executive order is consistent with these responsibilities.”
Mr Trump has named Dana Boente, US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, to serve in her place.

The White House press office said in a statement that Yates "has betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States."

The statement called Ms Yates an Obama administration appointee "who is weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration."

Dana Boente was sworn in at 9 p.m. ET. A few hours later, Boente issued a statement rescinding Yates' order, instructing DOJ lawyers to "defend the lawful orders of our President."

Boente told The Washington Post that he will agree to enforce the immigration order.

Trump didn't call Yates to dismiss her, she was informed by hand-delivered letter, according to a different administration official.

Ms Yates was due to be replaced by Jeff Sessions, Mr Trump's pick for attorney general, once his appointment is confirmed by the US senate.

'I kidnapped my Oga’s son because he refused to settle me'- Blessing Emmanuel

A 20-year-old suspect, Blessing Emmanuel, said on Monday in Lagos that he kidnapped his boss’ son for not settling him after apprenticeship.
Chinobi Sabestine and Emmanuel were arrested by the police for allegedly abducting a 10-year-old boy.

It was reported that the suspects were apprehended in a bank in the Oyingbo area of the state as they were about withdrawing the ransom paid by the boy’s family into an account.

Emmanuel, who claimed to be a trader at the Mandilas Market, Lagos Island, claimed that he
abducted the 10-year-old in the Alafia area of Orile-Iganmu, on his way to school, as a way of paying his master back for refusing to settle him after working for him for four years.

“I started staying with my Oga in 2013. He took me from my parents to stay with him so that I could learn how to sell clothes. In the agreement he had with my parents before he took me, he promised to set me up after four years.
“In 2016, he was supposed to help me start my own business; but instead, he opened another shop and asked me to be paying him N20,000 monthly.
“I could not cope because of the recession in the country, so I asked him to pay me as agreed, but he refused. Rather, he sent me back to the village.
“I came back early January and I stayed in a hotel. It was there that the idea of kidnapping his son came to me. Last week Monday, around 7am, I laid in ambush along the route where his son normally passed to school in the Alafia area of Orile.
“The boy emerged around 7.45am. He came to me when I called him and I took him away,” the suspect said.
The suspect further explained that he kept the young boy in his hotel room for four days, until he was arrested on Apapa Road.
“Throughout the four days, the boy stayed with me in my hotel room at Oyingbo. I called my Oga on the telephone the next day to pay N5m into my account if he hoped to see his son again. I sent him my account number.
“I was on my way to collect my ATM card from the bank on Apapa Road when I was arrested. I never knew that the police were on my trail,” he added.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, while briefing newsmen on the arrest, said the suspect, along with one other, kidnapped the 10-year-old boy.

He said after kidnapping their victim, the suspects demanded N5m as ransom to release the boy.
