Lady Stab Co Tenant To death With Scissors In Lagos

                             

Report have it that the people of Oke ira, Ajah, Lagos have been thrown into a mourning state after a Mother of 3 was stabbed by her co tenant 

Sources claim that a heated argument ensued by 5a.m today when the suspect started singing abusive songs directed at the stab victim who was brushing her teeth.

However after she got ignored by the deceased, she splashed dirty water at the exact place the lady was brushing, which fetched a reaction. However after the husband of the deceased cautioned her before he went out to work following a verbal exchange, Uche stabbed the lady in the stomach while she was taking her kids to the bathroom. The stab victim lost so much blood which resulted in her death.

Atiku To Be Questioned When He Returns From U.S

The Federal Government of Nigeria has said that the candidate of the opposition PDP in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, has questions to answer when he returns from his current trip to the United States.

The government said it is investigating Mr Abubakar’s alleged role in the collapse of former Bank PHB.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said this while briefing State House correspondents on Friday.


Mr Mohammed said the decision to question Mr Abubakar is “following fresh evidence that he benefitted from slush funds that led to the collapse of Bank PHB.”

The government spokesperson said the government has in its position “paper trail which shows that he benefitted from N156 million.”

“It started from an internal memo dated 13 January 2009 asking that a draft in favour of Atiku Abubakar of 156 million should be raised,” he said.

Ekiti Police Uncover Ritualists, Fraudsters Shrine

The Ekiti State Police Command on Thursday discovered a ritualist shrine in Odo, a suburb in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

The ritualist shrine located around Crown Polytechnic area, was uncovered by a team of Policemen led by the Commissioner, Asuquo Amba.

The discovery of the ritualist den happened few days after the CP declared total war on the evil perpetrators during the recent parading of 50 criminals.

The CP who added that they are planning to raid and burst bushes used by criminals in the State.

The shrine was fully decorated with several statues, fake foreign currencies and fetish objects.

Amba told journalists that the police acted on a tip-off and bursted the area where two suspected ritualists were apprehended.

He said, “We acted on a reliable tip-off which led to the arrest of two suspected ritualists.

“Of particular interest was the discovery of a dungeon with a path which connects one of the shrines to another.

He added that a community leader has been invited to assist them in their investigation.

The CP appealed to the people of the state to always assist the police by giving them useful information.

Amba said security of any state or nation could not be left in the hands of a few security men but added that everybody should be involved.

He further said that the police needs the cooperation and the support of the people of the state to ensure utmost security.

The fake yahoo boy terrorizing Benin, reportedly operates at night with the aid of assorted charms which make his victims fall deeply asleep. The suspect who burgled over 25 houses at PZ, Sapele road, Benin, is said to have a potent charm which aids him in stealing right under people’s bed without them waking up.
He however ran out of luck after his last operation, as his identity was uncovered by a CCTV which also captured moment he brought out his charm and made some incantation

MC Oluomo who is the treasurer of National Union of Road Transport Workers Lagos state chapter, was pictured on board a Delta airline shortly after he was discharged on Tuesday from Eko Hospital.

According to sources,  the NURTW boss traveled to the US where he is a citizen with his doctor and another relation, for more medical examination and possible treatment. This is to ascertain if he is medically okay and also to get enough rest ahead of the 2019 general elections

Prince Philip Involved In Car Accident

The Duke of Edinburgh has escaped unhurt after the car he was driving was involved in an accident close to the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Police were called to the scene of a collision involving 97-year-old Prince Philip on Thursday. Witnesses told the BBC that the Land Rover being driven by Philip had overturned after pulling out from a driveway on the A149.

He was helped out of the car by eyewitnesses and was reportedly conscious but very shocked and shaken. The palace would not confirm if he was alone in the vehicle at the time of the collision. The other car involved was a Kia and its female driver and passenger were treated in hospital and have since been discharged.

Norfolk police said: “The female driver of the Kia suffered cuts while the female passenger sustained an arm injury, both requiring hospital treatment.”

A Buckingham Palace statement said: “The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a road traffic accident with another vehicle this afternoon. The duke was not injured. The accident took place close to the Sandringham estate. Local police attended the scene.”

Pastor arrested for alleged N28 million fraud in Bauchi

A self-acclaimed pastor, Anu Ojo Olakonori has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), over an alleged N28 million fraud.

The suspect was arrested by the EFCC on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He is the founder of Angel on Guard Ministries.

Olakonori was arrested following a petition by the victim who alleged that sometime in 2016, she was introduced to the suspect by a pastor of hers in Bauchi state for prayers and cleansing because of the difficulties she was going through at the time

The suspect, under this guise, started requesting for money from her and she made transfers to him in different tranches amounting to N27, 900,600.

The investigation has also revealed that the suspect used the said sum to purchase various properties – house and cars, for himself. The EFCC made it known that he will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded
