Two fake blind beggars arrested at Imo State University, Owerri (photo)

Two fake blind beggars have been arrested by policemen attached to the Imo State University, Owerri campus.
Their arrest, PUNCH reports, followed intelligence information given to the police by some students of the institution who said the two young men who had been begging for alms on the campus were not blind as they had claimed.
A student leader, Chidi Onyeji, told Southern City News that the fake blind men were apprehended by the police at the main gate of the varsity.

He said:
“The policemen attached to the entry gate of Imo State University, Owerri have uncovered swindle activities of a particular group who devise unlawful means to attract sympathy and rip off kind-hearted students of their hard-earned money under the pretext of being blind.”
According to Onyeji, luck ran out on the suspects when one of the policemen called one of the beggars, and on approaching, the cop slapped him and asked him to open his eyes.
He explained that upon interrogation, the two fake blind persons confessed to the crime, saying they took to the crime to make ends meet because they were unemployed.
The suspects have been transferred to the state Police Command in Owerri, where they were being interrogated.
When contacted by PUNCH, the state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, said he had yet to be briefed on the incident, but acknowledged that he deployed policemen to IMSU to checkmate cult-related activities on the campus during the ongoing degree examinations of the university

Checkout Bovi's savage reply to Instagram beggar looking for money for his child's naming ceremony

Our celebrities are not here for any beggar oh! So popular comedian Bovi gave savage reply to a man begging for money for his child's naming ceremony!

The guy commented:

  • femijames9999Good morning Baba, please I need a help. My wife gave birth last week Thursday. Tomorrow is the naming and I don't have a dime for the ceremony. Please help!!!
And Bovi replied:
  • officialbovi@femijames9999 homeboy, when you were pushing that baby forth through copulation, you didn't have to spend. Why should you spend to give the child a name? So if you don't do the naming ceremony, the child's name will not be registered? Or the people you fail to entertain will refuse to call the child by name? If you don't have now, you can always wait till you have. It is not written anywhere that the ceremony is a must or is time bound
Instead of him to take a bow, he replied Bovi:
  • femijames9999@officialbovi Baba, thank you so much for that. Life is like a ladder, help those you meet on your way to the top. No one knows tomorrow. But I will never pray for your down fall. God bless you, IJN
And Bovi hit him harder:
  • officialbovi@femijames9999 you have already prayed for my downfall. 😂 but I pray for your "upfall". Sex and the proceeds thereof are your responsibility especially for naming ceremony.
And another follower decided to help:

And some fans stood by Bovi:

Bride Pulls Handgun Out Of Wedding Dress To Shoot Husband

A Tennessee woman was arrested hours after she was married after she allegedly pointed a gun at her groom’s head during an argument.

Police responded to a local motel and found 25-year-old Kate Elizabeth Prichard and her husband fighting, WTVF reports. A witness told police that during the argument, Prichard pulled a gun out of her wedding dress and pulled the trigger.

“She pulled out of her wedding dress a 9 mm pistol. Pointed it at her new husband’s head and pulled the trigger,” said Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans.

The gun wasn’t loaded and didn’t discharge. A witness says the pistol-packing bride then loaded a round in the chamber and fired a shot in the air  causing bystanders to run away.

When police arrived at the scene, they talked to witnesses and eventually recovered the weapon, which had been thrown away in the bathroom.

Prichard is charged with aggravated domestic assault.
