PDP Will Return To Power In 2019 - Jonathan, Atiku

Former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday expressed optimism that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would return to power in 2019.

They said the party is getting stronger.

They spoke with journalists when the ex-President hosted Atiku at his home in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

On PDP chances in 2019, Jonathan said in a statement issued by his spokesman, Ilechukwu Eze, that the party is better poised to win next year’s presidential election.

He said: “Yes, we had some issues in 2015. But as you know politics is a very dynamic business. I believe PDP is coming back and getting stronger.

“Even though we are in the opposition with fewer governors, PDP is still the strongest and largest party in the country.”

Jonathan said he was pleased that the former Vice President who came to Bayelsa to commission State Government projects paid him a visit.

The ex-President said he had enjoyed a long relationship with Atiku, beginning from his time as Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

Atiku insisted that only the PDP has the strength and structure to win the presidential election in 2019.

He said: “It is actually the PDP that has the strength and structure to get back to Aso Rock. There is no other party that has the structure and strength like the PDP. Without PDP, APC should not have been in Aso Rock.”

In-Laws Beat Husband To Death Over Abuse Of Wife

“He was at the health centre with his wife when some boys from the wife’s family attacked him. They beat him till he gave up the ghost.”

The Police Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr. Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident, adding that one of alleged killers had been arrested.

He said the command had started investigation into the matter.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Slams Trump's Immigration Policy

Arnold Schwarzenegger has spoken out against President Trump's immigration policies saying that innocent children shouldn't be used as pawns after photos emerged of them being held in detention cages.

Since the Trump administration announced its 'zero tolerance' policy in early May, more than 2,000 children have been forcibly removed taken from their parents at the US-Mexico border.

The government has faced withering critiques over images of some of the children in cages inside US Border Patrol processing stations.

'As an immigrant, I know the magnetic power of America's greatness. As a former border Governor, I know the importance of securing our border and fixing our absurdly broken immigration system. As an American, I know that kids shouldn't be pawns while the 'adults' figure it out,' Schwarzenegger tweeted on Tuesday.

'The administration is right that we need to fix our immigration system. But if anybody is going to be in a cage while we wait for a comprehensive reform, let's make it the politicians who don't do their jobs in the cages, not innocent kids.'

It comes after the Associated Press reported that Trump administration officials have been sending immigrant babies and other young children to at least three 'tender age' shelters in South Texas.

Lawyers and medical providers who have visited the Rio Grande Valley shelters described play rooms of crying preschool-age children in crisis

Ghana Football Head Denies Cash Gift

The second-most powerful man in African football has branded video of him apparently taking cash gifts "lies".

But Mr Nyantakyi says the footage was doctored, dismissing it as "shoddy work with cut and paste".

It is against the rules of Fifa, football's world governing body, to accept any gifts of cash.

Mr Nyantakyi resigned from his posts with Fifa and the Confederation of African Football (Caf) after the footage was made public in June.

It is the first time he has commented on the allegations since stepping down.

Yahoo Messenger Finally Shutting Down After 20 Years After 20 Years Of Operation

Yahoo Messenger has announced it is shutting down on 17 July 2018 after 20 years in action. “We know we have many loyal fans who have used Yahoo Messenger since its beginning as one of the first apps of its kind,” said Yahoo’s parent company, Oath.

But these loyal fans weren’t enough to keep the platform going after so many years. Instant message applications were regarded as truly revolutionary 20 years ago. From the “ping” option in Yahoo Messenger to notify someone, to the “warning” lightning bolt you could send someone on AOL Instant Messenger if they were annoying you, these platforms taught us how to communicate on the internet.

But, with the rise of platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Slack and WeChat, there isn’t as much use for the originals anymore. For example, over one billion people use WhatsApp every day now

Checkout the man With the Longest Penis and How It affected His Career

The man who claims to have the world’s biggest penis at 13.5 inches says it has ruined his career in acting.

Jonah Falcon, 47, has failed to land any major Hollywood roles and says its all because of his massive manhood.

He says his ‘naturally large’ penis has earned him a reputation among film directors who are put off by stories surrounding his privates.

Jonah, who lives in LA, said: ‘It’s handicapped my acting because people won’t hire me. ‘It sucks – it relegates me into doing smaller parts. ‘Maybe in the UK or Germany it might help my acting career, but here in Hollywood it’s a negative.’

Despite the apparent career knockbacks, Jonah says he loves getting compliments from porn stars and claims having an exceptionally large penis has helped him in the bedroom.

‘I’ve slept with celebrities including Oscar nominees and Oscar winners,’ he said, adding: ‘but I can’t talk about that.’

Jonah claims to be nine inches when flaccid and 13.5in when erect, compared to the average of five to six inches when erect for men.

‘It’s thicker than my wrist,’ he added.

Jonah’s size may be impressive but he still doesn’t beat Roberto Esquivel Cabrera, who in 2015 claimed to have the biggest penis in the world at 18.9 inches.

However, Jonah has previously accused Cabrera of ‘cheating’ to get the world’s largest penis, saying that he stretched it with weights.

‘’Please Don’t Kill Us, We Robbed To Pay WAEC Fees’’, Imo Pupils Beg Police

The Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Dasuki Galandanchi, on Tuesday paraded two teenagers, Emmanuel Ewudo, and Chinwe Nwaane, (15), and 23 others for attempted robbery, kidnapping and burglary.

Parading the suspects, the police boss said the command would charge them to court after investigation.

But one of the suspects, Ewudo pleaded for leniency, adding that they attempted the crime because they were trying to raise funds to register for the West Africa Certificate Examination.

He said, “Please help us beg the police not to kill us, we are sorry for breaking into somebody’s house, we were trying to raise funds to register for the West Africa Certificate Examination.”

The boys, who are students of Bishop Shina-Hand College in Orlu, said that their quest to pay for the WACE fees led them into crime.

Galandanchi said the duo broke into the residence of one Mrs. Chigozie Ohajiogu in Akokwa, Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State with the intent to rob her.

Her cry, according to Galandanchi, made the suspects to flee, adding that they returned in about 45 minutes later but escaped being arrested by policemen that had come to secure the area.

He said they were nabbed in their school.

The other suspect, Nwaane, said, “Yes we are students. My father has been bedridden and in hospital and unable to pay my WAEC fees, I begged my friend to accompany me somewhere. We went to rob the woman but we were not successful.

“We were caught one day after. We are very scared, we don’t want to be killed but we know that it is wrong to break into somebody’s house.”

President Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong Un are both in Singapore for their highly anticipated summit, the first of its kind between a U.S. president and a leader of North Korea. And while officials remain uncertain as to what exactly will come out of Tuesday's unprecedented discussions, Mr. Trump has stated that he wants to strike a deal to get the Pyongyang to give up its nuclear weapons.
