Caitlyn, 68, legally changed her name three years ago following her transition from male to female, and fans were not remotely impressed by boxer Amir's error.
"Amir Khan is not funny for calling Caitlin Jenner Bruce he demonstrates what a transphobic **** he is," raged one.
"Amir khan had a pic with caitlyn jenner on his story and the caption was ‘bruce jenner’ lmaooo," wrote a second, while another added, "Amir Khan calling Caitlyn Jenner ‘Bruce Jenner’ at the ESPYS though !!! KILLED ME!"
The faux pas unfolded after the sports stars posed for a picture at the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday.
