Jazz singer and actress Morgana King has died aged 87. The star passed away after a battle with cancer in March, but her death was only revealed on Tuesday, when a friend paid tribute to her on Facebook.
The New York native was best known for playing Carmela Corleone - the wife of Marlon Brando's character Don Vito - in the first two Godfather films.
According to the Washington Post, Morgana passed away in Palm Springs, California on March 22.
The cause of death was confirmed by the coroner's office for Riverside County, California as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma - a cancer of the lymphatic and immune systems.
